I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1581 21.38 Fifth Violet Star - A Warning?

The words of the bar owner linger not only in the ears of the doctor but to everyone who was there and heard his warning. Getting warned about angels was not nice to hear. After all, for humans, angels are Godʼs people. They are embodiments of holiness and god itself.

Now someone is telling them to be careful of them, and this was a warning given to the doctor, which that man named Xia had personally given to him. It cannot be said to be the truth, but it also cannot be said to be a complete lie. After all, this man called Xia is only partial to Doctor Hei Yu.

This event was reported to the higher-ups, and another emergency meeting was made.

”Is he warning us about angels? Not just demons but also angels?”

Captain Lou Ye said, ”Maybe the angels that were portrayed in the books were different from the real ones. Like how the demons we are seeing right now. Arenʼt these demons not completely the same as those in the pictures in the books?”

”Also, he told the doctor that there are no demons in this station. Only a devil.”

Silence~

These revelations buried the room in silence. They now didnʼt know which is real and which is fake. Demons appeared before them, and thus they are real. Unfortunately, they are as ruthless and cruel as they remember, as well as more intelligent than they expected. Humans are almost powerless towards them.

Now even angels are mentioned. Are the angels not creatures of God? Are they not righteous or good at heart? Maybe they are. Friendly, good, and pure; however, they start to wonder how these creatures see humans.

If they look down on them and do not want to help them, what should they do? Thus, the faith of humans in these angels started to waver, and they became fearful of the unknowns.

”Devils? Are they the type that takes over the human body as their own? How to separate them from humans?”

”Holy water maybe? Is that what they are weak for?”

Captain Lou Ye said, ”How about using an angelʼs feather to check? Devils are being made of pure darkness. Though we donʼt know how he was able to move that pair of angelʼs wings, would a white feather turn black when touched by a devil?”

”This is indeed a way to find the devil among us. However...”

The commander asked his subordinate to bring over a white feather, which was placed on the table surrounded by the people inside the conference room.

”Before this conversation continues, letʼs check if the devil is among us.”

”Agreed.”

”I also believe thatʼs the right thing to do.”

”Okay, letʼs just do it.”

”How to do it, Captain Lou?” The commander asked.

Captain Lou Ye grabs the white feather with his hands and lets it stay on his palm, directly touching his skin.

He then responded, ”Touch the feather for a few minutes. If it doesnʼt turn black, then one is a human.”

He then passed the white feather to the old commander, who possessed the highest position in the room.

Captain Lou Ye said, ”Your turn, Commander.”

The old commander had no hesitation as he took the angelʼs feather from Captain Lou Ye. After waiting for a while, the feather remains white.

”Are you relieved now, Captain Lou?” The old commander asked.

Captain Lou apologized and said, ”Yes. I apologize for my rudeness. Itʼs just that I believe the devil will most likely choose a person in power to blend with us trying to control us from within. Commander is one of the greatest choices.”

”You are indeed right.” The commander said, ”Apology accepted.”

”This is an order. Everyone in this room must touch this feather and prove to us that you are humans!”

”Yes, commander.”

While the other officers are trying to prove that they are humans, Captain Lou Ye also told the commander about the way to defeat the demons without sacrificing the lives of the police officers and soldiers.

The old commander exclaimed, ”Are you saying that the bar owner told you how to kill demons?!”

”Yes. However, I do not think that those from above will like it though. This needs the usage of the angelʼs feather. One feather diluted in water can make it holy water. However, the effects are only for three days. It would become a disposable item to fight the demons.”

This explanation from Captain Lou Ye had indeed made a frown appear on the commanderʼs face. This is not because he felt that using the angelʼs feathers is a waste but because those above him will never allow such a thing.

The old commander said, ”I will try my best to get as many feathers as possible. Tell that little madman to find a way to maximize the duration of the effects these angels have.”

”I will tell him, but commander, you must prepare a reward for him for him to be interested,” said Captain Lou Ye.

The commander thought for a moment and said, ”How about using that half-human, half-fish demon the navy found as a reward? Since he is bored with animal-shaped demons, a half-humanoid might be more interesting to him.”

”I shall pass the message to the doctor,” Captain Lou Ye said.

”Commander, we are all negative.” Experience exclusive tales on My Virtual Library Empire

”Thatʼs good. Letʼs continue the meeting and plan how to discreetly test everyone in the station whether they are a devil or not,” said the commander.

While the meeting is still ongoing in the police stationʼs conference room, the doctor has returned to the clinic and is about to enjoy his cheesecakes.

All of a sudden the atmosphere around him had changed from an innocent lunatic to one with a more dangerous yet alluring presence. His silver eyes narrowed with a hint of smile at the corner of his lips as he slowly enjoyed the cheesecake on the table.

If there is someone else with him in the clinic, one would definitely notice the changes in the doctorʼs demeanor. Unlike his former self, who lacks noble demeanor, the current door is like an embodiment of the noble one.

The doctor mumbles, ”Todayʼs snacks are not bad. However... there is something dirty in this room.”

At the corner of the doctorʼs laboratory, a small black snake that looks like a black mamba slithers in the dark corner of the room. If one looks at this black mamba closer, one can see its eyes glowing in a red shade.

As expected, the moment the door of the laboratory was pushed open, the waiting in dark, black mamba jumped out of the shadow, intending to bite the one who entered the room

However, before itʼs poison fangs touch the white neck of the person who went inside, a silver flashes in the darkness, instantly stabbing the black mambaʼs weakness. The one that flew just now was a scalpel. It flew targeting the black mamba and now flew towards the wall, having it darted on the wall.

Once the lights were opened, the cold yet angelic face of Doctor Hei Yu appeared. A few scalpels were hanging pinched between his fingers, and his hand was covered with surgical gloves. He walks unhurried towards the black mamba, which was still alive after being stabbed at the inch where the snake heart is supposed to be located.

Doctor Hei Yu said, ”Oh~ itʼs still alive. Thatʼs good. It will be a good toy for the other me~”

The strange black mamba was captured by the doctor and sealed in a glass bottle. The snake didnʼt dare to move under the gaze of those silver irises full of coldness and indifference.

The doctor pokes the glass as if poking the black mamba inside. He even said,

”This one is off limits~, little devil.”

Meanwhile, in the heavens...

After the archangels had returned to the heavens, they thought that Archangel Michael would summon them for punishment. However, there is no such thing, and instead they were just asked to continue to live as they wished.

The heavens were run by Archangel Michael as before. It was just that this time, the other archangels that were supporting him had all stopped coming to his palace. The other archangels returned to their own palace, doing their part of duties.

Reports from the human world had come to them as well. It was reported that Luciferʼs original pair of wings had been found in the human world and the police had taken possession of it. Because of the wings of an angel, creatures of hell started appearing in the human world.

Archangel Zadkiel, the angel of mercy and forgiveness, said, ”Uriel, I want to descend to fight the demons!”

”I want to go as well!” said Archangel Gabriel, the messenger of God.

The angel of love, Archangel Samuel, said, ”What are you guys going to do if Jophiel appears?”

”Fight?” Zadkiel and Gabriel said.

The angel of wisdom sighed and said, ”Have you forgotten? He is no longer the Jophiel we know. What is inside him is a God as powerful or more powerful than our creator.”

”Can you defeat him?” asked Archangel Samuel.

Thinking of how Satan and Archangel Jophiel fought against Archangel Michael and almost fought him toe to toe, Gabriel and Zadkiel knew they could not be compared at all and turned silent.

After finishing through his thoughts, Archangel Uriel said, ”Letʼs inform Michael and ask Raphael to descend with us.”

Confused, Archangel Gabriel asked, ”Why Raphael? He canʼt fight that well.”

”Do you really think so?” asked Archangel Uriel.
