I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1572 21.29 Fifth Violet Star - Varying POV

As the archangels approached Captain Lou Ye of the police force, they wanted to ask him what they, the outsider of this world, planned to do in their world. Though he might not give them an honest answer, these silly archangels still wanted to try asking. This is an urgent matter to them that they ignore the sticky interaction between him and Archangel Raphael.

The one who started asking is as expectedly Archangel Uriel, the angel of wisdom and the brain of all angels.

Uriel asked, ”We would like to know what you outsiders plan to do in our world. Are you here for Michael?”

”Do you plan to destroy this world? Let the devils rule it.”

”What are your identities?”

Zhi Yue who was staying invisible couldnʼt help but morph in his human form, same as Zhi Yang. This started the archangels, but no longer surprised by their sudden appearance.

System Yue said, ”You are too much! We are not here to destroy the world! This place is already broken.”

”We are here to look for someone, and to repair this broken world as an afterthought,” said System Yang.

Archangel Uriel looked shocked when he heard that their world is broken. After all, they didnʼt know about it and the world remains the same in their perspective. Not only him but also the rest of the archangels and the others around them didnʼt leave on time to hear such unbelievable news.

Archangel Gabriel said, ”Are you crazy? If this world is broken how can we still be alive?”

”Fool. Broken World, not a destroyed one. Donʼt you know the difference?” retorted Zhi Yue.

Looking so confused, Archangel Zadkiel asked, ”So, whatʼs the difference?”

Police Captain Lou Ye explained. ”A destroyed literally means no life and everything on it was dead. The world no longer exists. As for a broken world. There is no past or future, only present. No reincarnation, no life after death. As the laws of this world no longer exist. You guys are stuck here.”

”Dying means death for eternity and not being able to reincarnate, while those who can reproduce are no more. No new life. Your world is out of loop for everything until it is ruined.”

”The only reason you guys are still existing was because someone had taken the reins and kept the world intact. He added new rules and let this broken world run into minimum sustainment. If the one ruling this world leaves then...”

Zhi Yue was the one who completed the Chief Wardenʼs words. ”Itʼs one ticket straight to your doom.”

”Also one being cannot sustain the world on his own. Even if one becomes a god, every world always has one domain lord and one heavenly law to keep the balance. Archangel Michael is currently functioning as both,” said Zhi Yang.

Zhi Yue said, ”If this continues, he will perish in the end. Either by sacrificing himself for this world or by dying to keep things as they are.”

”You should investigate the real reason for your creatorʼs death. Maybe the truth is as he said,” said Captain Lou Ye.

He looked at Archangel Raphael before taking his leave, ”You should leave. This bar is no longer Luciferʼs but my lords. As for our identities, just think of us as outsider gods, but there are at least three groups among us and you have seen who was with who. Just be careful not to anger them. Those guys did as they wanted. If you canʼt really avoid them, asking Archangel Michael for help will do. Whether he helps or not depends on his mood.”

Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang had returned to their system avatar form and disappeared in the eyes of these angels. They flew over to follow the chief warden after glancing with Archangel Raphael.

Afterwards, the dimension had returned to normal and they saw mortals walking along them. Some were staring at them seeing that theyʼve gathered weirdly at one spot for no reason as if they appeared out of nowhere. The strange eyes of the humans on them were so painful that Archangel Raphael couldnʼt help but suggest that they leave.

Archangel Raphael said, ”How about we move places?”

”Letʼs go. I need to go somewhere quiet. Once I am done thinking, I will decide whether to return to heaven,” said Archangel Uriel.

As he is usually the one who makes the decision in their group after processing most information in his head. Even Archangel Michael would listen to him. Archangel Gabriel suggested that they either go to a park or a cafe. They chose a cafe in the end as Zadkiel was hungry while Uriel wanted some coffee to keep his mind active.

On the way, Raphael ended up at the rear of the group watching over the rest who is in front of him until Samuel approached him and whispered,

”The soul in Captain Lou Ye is your lover isnʼt he?” Archangel Samuel said.

Even so, with this question Archangel Raphael remained calm and said, ”I donʼt know what youre talking about, Sam?”

”You canʼt lie. Your red string of fate is connected to him. This is an impossible thing for angels. That means you are from their group. Are you observing Michael? Is he the one you are looking for?” Archangel Samuel whispered. ”Donʼt worry, I wonʼt tell anyone. I am an ally to all the couples in existence.”

”What are you two doing there? Youʼre almost left behind!” shouted Archangel Gabriel.

Archangel Zadkiel said, ”Come quickly, Iʼm starving!”

”Yes~ we are coming!” said Archangel Samuel as he dragged Archangel Raphael with him towards the three in front.

Somewhere in the human world...

COUGH!

Lord Chaos woke up from his sleep and coughed a mouthful of blood. Tun Shizhe, who had just returned, supported him to sit up. His using self-implosion to escape the grasps of HeiʼAn was the last option he can do as this act will greatly affect his soul and injure it. It was hard for him to heal injuries in the soul. After all, if healing an injured soul was simple, the God of Destruction wouldnʼt have needed the other soul fragments to heal his soul.

Tun Shizhe said, ”Are you alright? Your soul is wounded. We should leave this world before HeiʼAn tracks you again.”

”No! His real target is most likely not me. Itʼs Archangel Michael instead,” said Lord Chaos.

Tun Shizhe seemed confused with his words and asked, ”What do you mean?”

”He is using me to test the extent of Michaelʼs ability. After all, compared to me, Michaelʼs soul is stronger while mine had been under the control of the God of Destruction. He canʼt merge with me. Thatʼs why he didnʼt merge with me right away after catching me,” said Lord Chaos.

Tun Shizhe frowned and asked, ”Your soul is under the control of Jingʼer? Since when?”

”After I killed the God of Void once,” said Lord Chaos and pulled his cloth showing his chest. Above his heart is a black snowflake moving around as if it was alive.

Lord Chaos added. ”This is a curse. I cannot die no matter what, I can only die in his hands. He is not forgiving to those who had harmed ʼhimʼ. Never. The only reason he didnʼt kill me yet was because ʼheʼ treated me like I was a part of the God of Void. What do you think would happen to our soul fragments if the God of Void didnʼt give his affection too?”

”What would happen?” asked Tun Shizhe.

A mischievous smirk appeared on the corner of Lord Chaosʼs lips and said, ”You guess~”

On the other hand, HeiʼAn and Gui Xiajun had returned to hell after escaping from the human world. They didnʼt expect Archangel Michael was that powerful. They thought that like the other incarnation of the Ancient God of Chaos, they will be restricted by the world until they are powerful enough to break it. Like what HeiʼAn did in his former world.

Gui Xiajun said, ”I canʼt believe he possessed Chaos Energy. No wonder he was able to kill the heavenly laws of this world. Even you had a hard time breaking free from the control of the heavenly laws.”

”But thanks to that, he is imprisoned in this world. As he became the God of this place, the whole domain was not only under his control but also prevented him from leaving. Thatʼs why he didnʼt have plans on repairing this world. Once it reaches its doom he will be free. Until then he can play as much as he wants in this place. As a God, he lives for eternity. Even after this world dies, he will still be alive.” HeiʼAn said.

Gui Xiajun said, ”Canʼt he just destroy it? Jingʼer can casually destroy one.”

HeiʼAn explains, ”The main soul is different. He is the God of Destruction. Even if he destroys as many worlds as he wishes, he will not receive a punishment unless he broke the other rules of the Divine Laws of this cosmos.”

”However, our situation is different from his. We are not only restricted by the divine laws, even the heavenly laws of the world we are born into is exploiting us. Only when we are powerful enough to remove the restraints of the world can we leave that world.”

”Archangel Michael used to be the same. The only difference is that he had eliminated the heavenly laws of his world and become this ruler. Even though the rules of the world can no longer touch him, leaving the world will take a while.”

”Xiajun, I want him. Help me merge with him. As long as I can do that I will be able to get stronger and help you kill the God of Void.”
