I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1574 21.31 Fifth Violet Star - Martial Law

”ANGELʼS WINGS!”

Almost everyone was shocked by these words. Doctor Hei Yu as if anticipating their reaction had covered his ears. Only when Captain Lou Ye reprimands his team does he stop covering his ears and then explain things further.

Doctor Hei Yu said, ”Thatʼs just an alias Iʼve chosen to call that white feather. It was unknown whether it was real or not. But for it to have properties capable of healing, I donʼt know to what extent it can cure and what kind of injuries or diseases it can resolve. That needs further testing.”

”I will report to the higher ups about this. That black feather from before is completely different from this white feather isnʼt it?” said Captain Lou Ye.

After nodding, the doctor said, ”Yes. That black feather is full of negative properties. One can kill and has no cure. I think that should be destroyed, but I donʼt think the higher ups will agree to this.”

”They wonʼt however if you truly wish to destroy it feel free,” said Captain Lou Ye.

Doctor Hei Yu was stunned for a moment and asked, ”Captain, are you flirting with me?”

”No. I donʼt want to die,” said Captain Lou Ye as he left to make a call.

On the other hand, his comrades and the doctor looked confused by these words, yet he was not there to clear their confusion.

”Why did the captain say he didnʼt want to die?”

”Doctor, do you have a lover?”

”... does the corpse in my morgue count?” answered Doctor Hei Yu. Then he suddenly recalled Luciferʼs handsome face and then smiled.

”Maybe, I will... in the future~” Then he left the stunned police officers to continue his duties like Captain Lou Ye.

Having reported the probable existence of demons and angels, Captain Lou Ye also added that the possibility of the serial killer they are chasing was most likely a demon. As a proof, there would always be a black feather at each crime scene. In the latest case, a pair of huge angelʼs wings was even found.

Because of this the government had no other choice but to put the whole city under martial law at the same time they spread the possible existence of demons and angels in the human world. Normally, one would have kept quiet about this situation.

However, just the fact that the recent serial killing might have been done by no humans is capable of, the humans were frightened and had to spread the word just so not only to make those unknown creatures hesitate to show themselves and make sure the humans to keep vigilant at all times.

Flash news has been playing all day long and the topic happens to be demons and angels. Ever since the real Lucifer had left with Belphegor, the one that handles the bar were Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang. Of course, unlike before no women and men dared to approach or sit beside Ye Xiajie.

His presence alone prevents them from daring to approach him. However, the customer count had increased instead of decreasing. A lot of people come to Purgatory just for wanting to catch a glimpse of the King of Night, who oversees his territory. As for some women and men who lost control of themselves and wanted to jump in the arms of the God of Void, they were immediately captured by some void creature he summoned to pretend as guards and staff of this place.

Tonight, the God of Void was enjoying his whisky while watching something in the tablet bought by Zhi Yue for watching drama series. He wanted to see the current flash news about the serial killings as it involves Doctor Hei. Who would have expected that a flash news under the orders of the government is being aired.

FLASH NEWS:

[We apologize for an abrupt announcement from the government. This is an urgent news that the people of our city must all know. The government as of right now, announcement Martial Law.]

[Soldiers and police will be patrolling every night in the city and a curfew was issued. Starting tomorrow, no one is allowed to be outside after ten oʼ clock. Once you are found by the soldiers and police, you will be jailed for three days without food for first time rule breakers. Second time, you will be imprisoned for a month and third, you will be sent to jail for a year.]

[As for the reason the sudden martial law had something to do with the recent serial killings in the city. The police had found proof that the killer is... huh! Not human!]

[What the hell---]

[Cough!]

The newscaster was caught off guard by the script that was provided to him. He lost composure for a moment but was warned by the police captain that personally visit their broadcasting company.

[It was recently discovered that the existence of those who are called fallen angels or demons and holy angels had been proven real. They had found a few black feathers to every serial killing case that had happened in the city. It was said that this black feather is deadly poisonous and it had no antidote. Thus, the police force had greatly stated that the serial killer is possibly not human. It is a demon!]

[The existence of the holy angel had been proven as well. At the latest serial killing case, the police force had discovered a pair of huge white feathers that was said to be an angelʼs wings!]

The news was showing a projection of the angel wings that the police force had surrendered to the government. A quarter was given to the police force for this discovery.

[The white feathers of the angelʼs wings are said to be capable of healing any kind of injuries and illness. This includes regeneration of limbs as well as curing terminal diseases.]

[Please be reminded that martial law will take effect as soon as this flash news broadcast has ended. I repeat, Martial Law will take effect as soon as this broadcast has ended.] Read latest stories on My Virtual Library Empire

[Thank you for listening. I hope you have a nice evening!]

The flash news ended at this moment. As soon as the news ended a lot of people checked the time and said that itʼs 9 pm in the evening. By ten oʼclock in the evening, the police and soldiers will start their patrols and those who were caught will be captured and punished. They would be lucky if the soldiers and police were the ones to find them. What if they bump into that serial killer that wasnʼt even human? That will be quite a tragic sight.

The God of Void wasnʼt the only ones watching the flash news but also some customers of the bar. As expected, as soon as the news ended, a lot of them had bid a farewell to the Bar owner. Seeing that he was also watching the news there is no need to explain things further.

”Boss, we will go now. We only have an hour to catch a ride.”

”How sad! Because of curfew we wouldnʼt be able to see Lucifer every night.”

The God of Void said, ”I have no plans on closing the bar. Though it would close at 9:30 in the evening every night?”

”Boss! how about an overnight option. We only need to stay at the bar all night without bothering you, the big boss!” a customer suggested.

The God of Void said, ”I will not provide pillows nor a blanket.”

”Hahaha! Thatʼs okay boss. We have no plans to sleep anyway!” The customers laughed and agreed to these words.

The God of Void said, ”Do as you wish. Iʼm going up to eat dinner now.”

As he stood up preparing to go to his suite and is now walking towards the elevator that would bring him to his flat. The customers happily send him off then resume to their night party all night. There are some who had left before the curfew and others who stayed for an all night party.

The curfew rule will not affect these customers as long as they are inside the bar and werenʼt found outside loitering around. At 10 oʼclock sharp in the evening, the streets in the city were almost all empty. Soldiers and police will catch people who were found, but since this is the first night and the martial law will be strictly implemented tomorrow evening, these people were just scolded and sent home.

---

Meanwhile at some abandoned cabin house at the outskirt of the city...

The serial killer watched the flash news and threw his phone to the wall in anger after learning what the human had done after his existence was revealed. Like the police had this murderer is not a human. He is the devil of envy, Leviathan, who was said to be missing from hell.

Crash!

Pants~

”Damn humans~ how the hell did they know that I am not human? How the hell did they find my feather? That thing isnʼt supposed to be easily seen by humans. Just who the hell within the police force is getting in my way.”

”That stupid doctor must have revealed the effects of my feather and the original wings of Lucifer. I never expected that humans would be the first to find it, instead of Asmodeus or all other devils.”

”Tsk! Which one should I kill first? I should start killing the pests. Should I pick the police captain or that mad doctor?~ Hehehe~”

Not faraway from him, on his table, there is a carefully sealed silver rose that doesnʼt seems to wilt. This is Leviathanʼs new source of powerful and also the source of his current madness.
