I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1576 21.33 Fifth Violet Star - Demons

Learning the reason for blood within the clinic was because of the vice-captainʼs nosebleed. The police officers all laugh. Who would have thought that the mad doctor is quite a tough character. The type that launches a punch to your face.

AHAHAHA~

”Vice-captain, your nose turned flat!”

”R-really!?” said vice captain Lev as he tried to touch his nose only to have his hand slapped by the doctor.

Doctor hei reprimands, ”Donʼt touch! Do you want it to swell further? Donʼt you want your nose anymore?”

”Wants!” Vice Captain Lev said.

HAHAHA~

Everyone once again laughed and watched as the doctor injected him with some pain killer for his acute gastritis. Only then did their vice captain rested on a clean bed with a relaxed expression now even his nosebleed had stopped bleeding.

Captain Lou Ye sat at the bedside where Vice captain Lev was lying and asked, ”Have you found anything, Lev?”

”Yes. I seem to have found the motive of the serial killer,” Vice captain Lev said.

Captain Lou Ye said, ”That pair of white wings. Before it was taken away by the killer , it seems all those he had killed were the first batch of humans who had seen it. According to my investigations, that pair of wings used to be owned by a wealthy man and he used those angel wings as decoration in his private villa.”

”There were at least 20 guests that attended that manʼs housewarming party. Among them are those victims of serial killings including Actor Xiu Mo and Manager Xue Lian. Moreover, more than half of those who attended that housewarming party either had gone missing or were found dead by us,” explained Vice captain Lev.

With a frown the police captain said, ”If the catalyst for his murder is that white feather wing, the whole city had seen it as it was shown in the flash news.”

”Yes, thatʼs why everyone in the city is now a target,” said vice captain Lev.

All of the sudden, an officer comes running looking for the captain. It seems something had happened tonight that he was being summoned by the higher ups.

”Captain Lou! Finally, I found you. The senior officials wanted you to come see them as soon as possible!”

”What happened?” asked Police Captain Lou Ye.

He noticed that the face of this intelligence division officerʼs face was pale as white and that he must have seen something unbelievable and terrifying to have this kind of expression on his face.

The police officer answered, ”One of those creatures had appeared and eaten... killed a lot of soldiers and police officers.”

As if recalling the live broadcast of human beings being eaten alive, the police officer immediately ran to the trash can and started hurling.

Blergh~

This is clearly not the first time he puked and might have done it multiple times before this. Though police were trained and experienced to see corpses or death scenes. The gruesome scene of humans being eaten alive, screaming and crying for help is a different story. It was as if hell had descended on earth like what was stored in myths.

”Eaten!?”

Captain Lou Ye felt something had gone wrong tonight and immediately left to find his superiors. Moreover, since itʼs the officials who were asking him to come over, it means that the situation is extremely serious.

As expected upon arriving at the conference, all of those who have positions as a team captain and above were summoned; this includes soldiers who are at least a major and above were all called over. The ordinary officers were asked to wait outside the conference room.

The walls of the conference room are glass even though it isolates sounds, the people outside can still see what is happening inside the room. Gasps and hurls were heard all around the station when they saw the video being played inside the conference room. The scene was devastating.

The scene of their comrades and brother being bitten around, stomped on, heads exploding like ripe watermelons, and being eaten alive by a huge red skinned cow that stood on two feet and has the size of half a building was being played on the video.

What made it worse is that this snake monster doesnʼt seem ordinary. Not only can it speak, it also possesses a strength beyond humans and his skin is tough making it hard for ordinary bullets to penetrate.

On the video recording one can see and hear a hoarse evil voice coming from the ugly black snake with red eyes.

{Haha~ So many snacks for me tonight~}

{Humans~ you shouldnʼt have taken what isnʼt supposed to be yours! Give us the kingʼs original wings. Or you shall all be eaten by us demons.}

AHHH!

The video was cut off as the officer who was taking the video was eaten alive seeing that the last scene they saw was the interior of the snake monsterʼs mouth.

The person in the highest position in the room asked, ”What do you guys think about this?”

”Commander, it called itself a demon. So, it must have come from hell.”

”It was talking about the wings from the last case. Though we didnʼt expect that it was indeed an angelʼs wings and one that was cut off before it became fallen.”

”I donʼt know much about angels and demons or , is that what they are called?”

Obviously, this generation of leaders didnʼt know much about angels and demons as they were used to being rational and wouldnʼt not think much about fantasy-like things.

Doctor Heiʼs position in this station was special and was also called over after knowing he was interested in these called demons and angels.

He suddenly mumbles, ”Lucifer.”

”Huh? Doctor, are you talking about Bar Purgatoryʼs owner?” the adjutant that replaced the sick vice captain sat beside Captain Lou Ye asked.

Doctor Hei Yu said, ”No. I am talking about the fallen angel lucifer. Those wings might be his. He is the only one among the archangels who was said to get his angel wing cut off before being thrown to hell by god. After falling, he became the strongest demon in hell.”

”What!?”

Even though the knowledge of these officers and soldiers about angels and demons are minimal, there is no way they donʼt know about the infamous Lucifer. It was said that he was the brightest and strongest angel that matches Archangel Michael in strength.

Captain Lou Ye said, ”If it is indeed Lucifer then itʼs understandable that the demon calls those pairs of wings as their kingʼs. He is the king of hell after all. Moreover, if this is true then... our opponent would most likely be demons and devil princes.”

”But... How do you defeat a demon?”

”Can humans even defeat one?”

Doctor Hei Yu said, ”According to the book, demons are weaker than devils. They can still be killed with blessed objects or holy water. It was hard to fight a devil instead. Those things reside in the evil of a humanʼs heart and they mostly do not fight with the physical body. They possessed people. Only exorcists from the Vatican are able to defeat them.”

A few soldiers and polices asked,

”So, do we need to inform the Vatican about this?”

”But would they even believe us?”

”Maybe they might think this recording is fake and not help us at all.”

”How about trying contacting them first. See their reaction for now.”

”Good idea.”

”Implement it.”

”Do it!”

Captain Lou Ye said, ”We shouldnʼt forget about this demon first. Letʼs focus on it and keep an eye for anything else that may appear. I donʼt think this is the only demon that is interested in those pairs of wings. There might be more demons coming for it. Moreover, this demon seems to be a fool to show itself to the camera and it has no wings. He is not the serial killer.”

”Why do you think so, Xiao Lou?” A superior of Lou Ye asked.

Captain Lou Ye answered, ”From the latter cases we found, he hardly left clues. In reality, except for the last four cases, we didnʼt even find a black feather. This can also mean that he is intentionally revealing the existence of the angel and the devils. The pair of angel wings is a fact.”

”Those wings might be even a bait for something. Though I donʼt know what truly are his plans, we cannot deny that we had become the target the moment the existence of those angel wings had been known to everyone in the city.”

”You mean we will be targeted with more demons, not just the one in the video?”

”The probability of this is above 60 percent. We should prepare for the whole city to become hell,” said Doctor Hei Yu.

The commander realized the heaviness of the current situation. He immediately decided to report it to the government to ask for assistance. The verdict from this call was only released the next morning and before the weekends, a lot of weapons with string fire power was sent to this city. They wanted to be ready to fight if the demons truly attacked them.

Because of the situation most people of the city were evacuated to the other cities or provinces and there were those who chose to stay and no matter how much police convinced them, they didnʼt leave the city. Among these people are those in Bar ʼPurgatoryʼ , especially the bar owner, Xiu Xie.
