I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1215: 18.53 First Grey Star - Unknown Being

Meanwhile, Lu Ming, who was looking for them, ended up getting trapped in the white mist as well. Su Jin, who is also helping him look after Ye Jingxia, had gotten lost with him.

Gripping Su Jinʼs hand tightly, Lu Ming looked around vigilantly. ”Xiao Jin, donʼt get separated. This white mist is weird!”

”Ah! Could you help me? Someone is pulling me away.” Su Jinʼs voice resounds in the fog, and Lu Ming only feels the loss of warmth in his hand.

Lu Ming was aware that something had pulled him away from Su Jin, his lover; the white mist was very uncomfortable for him, especially the stares that followed him; he essentially raised his guard, prepared to react to any situation that arose; he steadied his racing heart (his older brother told him that the more composed he is, the clearer the path is); he focused his qi in his eyes and looked around the white world; suddenly, he saw a path with his qi in his eyes and began to walk on it.

He had only taken three steps when a voice, far away but right next to his ears, suddenly sounded from all directions.

The voice says, ”You reacted the best among the three. One is calm and weirdly escapes my grasp. The other two panicked when caught off guard. Only you remained calm in this situation. Good job!”

Lu Ming suddenly felt his sight wavering and realized that he had been caught as well.

”You are good, but too young. Haha, you let an enemy talk to you like this.”

As for Ji Yoonjun, watching above the trees, the white mist approaches. Whether one is on the ground or in the sky, the white mist will reach out for it. The voice faded when Lu Ming fell unconscious. He vanished in the white mist, just like Mo Yuhan and Su Jin did.

Ji Yoonjun mumbles, ”This white mist is... alive?” He observed for a bit longer before jumping himself into the mist. He disappeared, like the rest.

Leica, in the meantime, had constructed a wall that kept out all outside interference. The white mist continued to spread to their side, but the person behind it was unable to penetrate it. After learning of Ye Jingxiaʼs statement, Lu Shang decided to search for the other four people who had vanished into the mist.

Lu Shang said, ”I can feel a bit of divinity coming from somewhere. I canʼt pinpoint the exact location, but I can feel that something is blocking my sight. I will go out and find the brats. Mingʼer, stay here and protect the young master and the little princess. Zhi Yue, help me. This might be something that involves the space elements.”

A little moon floated over Lu Shang and rested on his shoulder. As for the little sun, it stayed on Ye Jingxiaʼs head, obviously there to protect the children of their lords.

System Yue said, [Go. [I will lead the way.]

Lu Shang said, ”I will be back.”

”Be careful,” Leica said, as he didnʼt choose to stop his lover from looking for the other brats.

While they, the wardens, whose job it is to capture destroyers, had little restriction on their divinity; as long as they do not break their vessels, then everything is okay. Furthermore, they are here as guardians for the young lord and the little princess; the Venerable Lords gave them free rein so that even the Heavenly Laws could no longer restrict them.

Ji Yoonjun may be a world hopper, but unlike them, his divinity is limited to how much this world allows.

Lu Shang came out of Leicaʼs barrier, and as expected, the white mist moved almost immediately as he was no longer protected.

System Yue said, [Warden Lou, you are being pulled into another dimension or maybe a lesser domain. Donʼt resist.]

Lu Shang allowed himself to be controlled for a moment. The next moment he opened his eyes, he appeared in a cloudy domain. A white space full of fog. Not far from him, Ji Yoonjun spotted him.

Ji Yoonjun greets him. ”Lord Warden, this humble one greets.”

”Um. Look for the rest,” Lu Shang said.

Working together, the two of them discovered the other three comatose on the floor, and they had to gently wake each of them up, starting with Su Jin, who is gently woken up by Ji Yoonjun, and Lu Shang, who kicked his younger brothers, Lu Ming, and Mo Yuhan, mercilessly.

Stomp! Stomp!

”Urgh! That hurts!”

”Who the hell kicked me!?”

As for Su Jin, he too slowly opened his eyes, saw the expression on Ji Yoonjunʼs face, and realized that he had to have found me; he also knew that Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan were awake because he heard the groaning noises in the background, but he did not anticipate Big Brother Lu showing up as well.

”Wake up, you damn brats! Donʼt you know what kind of place you are in?” Lu Shang said.

When Lu Ming saw Su Jin, he gave him a strong hug. As he lost himself in that mist, he felt something being taken out of his chest; it was the first time he had experienced such deep terror. Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan opened their eyes quickly. They looked around and realized they could not recognize the place.

Su Jin said, ”Whatʼs wrong?”

”Thank God, youʼre alright. I thought I lost you,” Lu Shang said while hugging Su Jin with fear.

Lu Shang pulled his younger brother and said, ”You should learn how to calm down, especially in a place you donʼt know anything about.”

Only then did Lu Ming notice his brother was here, which was unexpected. He looked around and saw a white space with fog except where they were; the other areas were full of mist.

Lu Ming asked, ”Big Brother, where is this place?”

”This might be the place where the Trial of Sins takes place. This is located at the borders of the middle and core regions. This is also the reason why the Lord told you not to enter the core region. It is unknown why this mist would suddenly appear like this,” Lu Shang said.

Lu Shangʼs warning look caused their group to become extremely alert, even though they were conversing with each other. The person watching the action laughs at this scene, even though it has not revealed its face, and his voice echoes over the region.

{With someone like this as a backbone, you guys calm down so easily. But boy, are you someone who isnʼt supposed to be here?}

Lu Shang withdrew his golden spear, squinted, and rested the weapon next to him; the weight of it caused a fissure in the ground, demonstrating the weaponʼs immense mass.

”According to the Lord, you are free to put the outsiders on trial. But I guess you arenʼt going to put me in one,” Lu Shang said.

An ethereal and husky voice of a man resounds in the area once again and responds to Lu Shangʼs queries.

{Correct. The aura you emit is quite similar to that of that new lord of mine. Unlike his arrogance, your calmness amazes me more. If meeting that lord as someone facing an emperor, facing you is like seeing a seasoned general who bathes in the blood of his enemies. Both are dangerous. People like you wouldnʼt be moved by anything in the trial, as you already possessed the peak of your own strength.

You donʼt need anything anymore.}

Lu Shang said, ”Then allow me to watch. I will not interfere in any of the trials. It is just that once they complete your desires, their rewards should be worth it enough.”

{Hahaha~ of course! My rewards might be useless to you, but to these brats, they would help them increase their strength and talent. Itʼs just that failure means becoming my food. How about it? Are you boys interested~}

Su Jin was hesitant since he was a weak fighter and only knew how to cook; Ji Yoonjun was interested in too few things in the mortal world; Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan were intrigued.

Lu Shang saw their hesitation and said, ”Forget about the failure. Fearing it would only allow you to receive as you perceived. The reward of this trial is what you truly desire. He can definitely give it to you. After all, you are talking to a divine.”

The four of them, shocked by what they had heard, had never imagined that they would encounter a divinity in this danger zone. The god-grade ingredient is not the same as divinity; the former is food, and the latter is existence.

This is a divine being, one of the beings that guard this world; it is the same as the Eel Dragon in the Milky Way River, except that this divinity is even more powerful than the Eel Dragon from before.

Among the four men, the one with the strongest reaction is, unexpectedly, Su Jin. He fearlessly spoke out and asked,

”Any wish is okay? Can you bring someone back to life!? Even if the timeline and world are different!?”

Everyone, especially Lu Ming, was stunned. Only Ji Yoonjun, who knew what his words meant, and Lu Shang, who truly didnʼt care about his situation, didnʼt show any surprise.

{Hmm~ boy, your wish is too extravagant. Of course, I can fulfill it, but it means that you will be tied in this world much more than in the free-riding situation you are in now. It was fate that the child gave everything to give you this second chance and this freedom. Are you willing to throw it away just to get your brother back?}

Su Jin determined his greatest wish and said, ”I am willing!”

{Hahaha~ well then. Complete the trial and become my Heavenly Guardian. Only then will I give you what you want?}

{Mu Zang didnʼt want anything and didnʼt want to be tied. His grandson is even more so, and he is too scary for me to move. That one beside you looks calm and quiet, but he only follows that dangerous manʼs command. Sigh~ this world is truly interesting.}

{How about the other two?}

Lu Ming looks at Su Jin and at Ji Yoonjun, who seems uninterested. It is only now that he realizes there is a problem in their relationship; although they should be brothers or friends of the same age, Ji Yoonjun behaves more like a guardian, a distant relative who comes to carry out a deceased personʼs wishes.

Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan were both bewildered by the talk between Su Jin and the unknown divine, but only one of them was intrigued; the other had his own request. Now, he is curious about what this trial might reward him for, and he has a wish he wants to fulfill, just like Su Jin.

The three of them said, ”I am willing to take the trial.”

Just as they stated those words, Lu Ming, Mo Yuhan, and Su Jin vanished out of sight, clearly drawn to the trial, leaving only Lu Shang—who is ineligible to take the trial—and Ji Yoonjun, whose soul was replaced with a God World Hopper from the Upper Realm.

”Are you not interested in the reward of the trial?” Lu Shang asked.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”My wish can only be given to me by the sovereign God Ye.” Ji Yoonjunʼs statements indicated that he had some relationship to a prisoner, and that only Ye Xiajie could grant him the freedom he desired. Things involving the God of Void, which the other sovereigns can do, are prisoners.

Lu Shang glanced at him with a meaningful gaze and said, ”I see.”
