I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1210: 18.48 First Grey Star - At the Capital City

At Numen Town...

Ye Jieye and his group finally made it back home after a few hours of flying. As soon as Roi got close to the restaurant, he dropped everyone below the location of the restaurant and shrank once more to the size of a snake. Everyone knew that their group had made it back when they saw Roi. The tofu vendors, Uncle Cao and Uncle Butcher, ran to greet them, and everyone else in the town did the same.

The tofu seller, Uncle Cao, said, ”Thank God. You guys are safe.” He hugged Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing, who were carrying Ye Jingxia and Anxia in their arms.

Ye Jieye asked, ”Uncle Cao, whatʼs wrong?”

”Let go of them! Youʼre squeezing the cubs!” Uncle Butcher said as he pulled away Uncle Cao.

Mo Xuejing asked worriedly, ”Whatʼs wrong, Uncles? Why do you look like that?”

”Sigh~ we heard about the Beast Stampede in Somatic Town. We actually wanted to go there but all roads were blocked in case of the Beast Stampede breaking through the borders. The location happened to be Somatic Town where you guys are. So this bastard was so worried about you.

I even told him everything would be fine as the boss is with you.” Uncle Butcher explained the details for Uncle Caoʼs abrupt reaction.

Mu Zang snorted and said, ”Donʼt worry about Xiao Ye. He was the one who resolved the Beast Stampede himself. Why would that thing even put him in danger?”

When they heard that, everyone was shocked. Their neighbors congratulated him, happy to hear that this young man had grown so strong. They also saw that Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejingʼs hands were clasped together, their fingers intertwined, which was sufficient evidence that they were lovers.

Uncle Cao asked, ”This... What is happening? Are you two finally together?”

Ye Jieye smiled and shook his head. As for Mo Xuejing, he is so ashamed that he could only hide behind Ye Jieye with red cheeks and ears, plainly timid. The people in the vicinity were delighted for them. They knew that Mo Xuejing had been pining for Ye Jieye all this time.

Uncle Cao said, ”Wow~ finally! I thought it would take longer because of this brat!”

The old mayor, Mu Zang, stated, ”There is no need to take a long time. These two are husband and wife after all.”

”WHAT!?” Everyone exclaimed.

”Kakaka~ such good news. It must be celebrated. Xiao Ye, how about it? Did you catch a Behemoth Carabao for this old man?” Uncle Butcher said.

”Yes, the space inventory is with Jingʼer. There are quite a lot of other ingredients in there. During the stampede, too many ingredients were hunted. I will also leave those to you, Uncle Butcher,” Ye Jieye said.

Uncle Butcher also got the space inventory from Mo Xuejing, which was full of unbutchered components. Uncle Butcher looked at it, and his smile went all the way to his ear.

He patted Ye Jieyeʼs shoulder and said, ”Good Job, boy! Everyone, letʼs have a meat party tonight! Hahaha~”

For Uncle Butcher, who received more than one adult Behemoth Carabao, receiving a calf for free is a good deal; it is more like a teaser to tempt others to become purchasers. The people in town rejoiced. One Behemoth calf was sufficient for the whole town.

Old Mayor Mu shooed the people away and said, ”Okay, you guys return to work. We are so tired. Let us rest!”

The mayor himself said this, and the people scattered off to resume their work, while Mo Xuejing, Ye Jieye, and the two cubs walked inside the restaurant to rest because they were so exhausted from their travel that it would not be open today.

Ye Jieye said, ”Gramps, what do you want for dinner?”

”Cook something with no meat. It is enough that the butcher will make some barbecue for meat,” Mu Zang said.

Ye Jieye said, ”Okay.” Then he looked at Lu Shang. ”You can accompany them to the outskirts and middle region of the Death Forest, but donʼt go in the core region. My pet lives there.”

”As you command, My Lord!” Lu Shang said.

The others paid their respects to Senior Mu and then followed Lu Shang and Leica to their residence. The four children will stay with this couple while they are in the town of Numen; Doctor Guang will stay at the Mayorʼs House since he may live with his boss at Ye Jieyeʼs property.

After dropping the things and taking Giang back to the mayorʼs house, Mu Zang once again left for something.

Doctor Guang asked, ”Senior, arenʼt you going to rest first?”

”No. I left this place for too long. There is too much work to do. You can do as you wish. I will be back later for dinner,” Mu Zang said as he once again left for his own business.

At the Capital City, Kingdom of Xinghai...

One day, the alarm went off, confusing those who watch over the danger zones around the clock. The Heavenly Guardians are both national treasures of the human race and guardians of the danger zones, which is why the kingdom has always kept an eye on their circumstances.

Their bodies are equipped with a nanochip that tracks their conditions, allowing the kingdom to not only know where they are at all times but also how much life they have left. The people of the capital were shocked to learn that Heavenly Guardian Fei Jueʼs life statistics had suddenly jumped to half-death that morning.

Ding. Ding. Ding

”Heavenly Guardian Fei Jueʼs vesselʼs index had been dropping at a very fast rate!”

”What is going on!? Isnʼt this man locked in the Anairam Trench? Go show me the feedback from the satellite!” Commanded King Wang Xingyun.

After hearing about Heavenly Guardian Fei Jueʼs condition, the current king of Alteria had rushed over, making sure that the outer area of that danger was safe to occupy even though Fei Jue was imprisoned in that trench. The report stated that Heavenly Guardian Fei Jueʼs condition was not good, with all of his status having fallen to mid, meaning that he was still alive but severely injured.

The controlled satellite in orbit records the events of the previous hour. It shows the recording of the black dragon and hawk approaching the sea, which is instantly recognizable to all.

”This black dragon... isnʼt it that manʼs mount!?”

”Look at the back. Isnʼt that Satan? The Hei of Mo is here too, as is Heavenly Guardian Mu.”

”Why did they come over to the sea?” King Xingyin asked.

”Your Majesty, according to the video, it seems they were ambushed on their way home, which pissed off Satan. They seem to be targeting his children.”

King Wang Xingyun frowned and said, ”Is it the people under Fei Jue that keep on wanting that manʼs children?”

”It seems so. The one who started it was Heavenly Guardian Fei Jue.”

One of the men whoever was tasked with looking for the reason why Heavenly Guardian Fei Jue ended up half dead exclaimed out of nowhere.

”Ah! He jumped! Itʼs not Satan!”

A bit startled, King Xingyun asked, ”What do you mean? Turn back the video a bit!”

They noticed nothing strange in the footage, but all of a sudden the Heir of the Mo Clan leaped into the Anairam Trench, and within hours the sea turned bloody, and Ye Jieye rescued Mo Xuejing out of it before they left.

Everyone was shocked to see Ye Jieye look at them in this way, and they shivered when they saw him move his lips to form the words, ʼMind your own business.ʼ Ye Jieye was nonchalant the entire time, then suddenly turned in the direction of the satellite, which made it look like he was staring at the camera.

King Xingyun mumbled, ”It seems Satan knew all along that we were going to watch this recording and gave them a warning. He is truly a man that canʼt be controlled.”

All of a sudden, a man came running and reported to the king, ”Your Majesty, someone is seeking your presence!”

”I am busy right now. Tell them to leave!” King Xingyun said.

”But your Majesty, itʼs Heavenly Guardian Mu.”

Mu Zangʼs name was mentioned, and everyone was shocked. They had not expected this man to visit in this manner without a royal decree of summons. King Xingyun appeared to know why Mu Zang had visited in person, since he was, after all, going to summon Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing to the capital to hear their side of the tale.

King Xingyun changed his words almost immediately and said, ”Escort him politely to the hall!”

”Yes, Your Majesty!”

Sigh!

”For Mu Zang to personally come over, he is telling us not to bother his grandson with this problem that involves Fei Jue,” King Xingyun mumbles.

His loyal prime minister said, ”He just didnʼt want to let his grandson come over to this place. After all, the Mo Clan and Lu Clanʼs influence in the capital is only second to the crown.”

”I truly couldnʼt understand why these old men keep on fighting one another. Sigh~ now then shall we listen to the story of Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang himself.” King Xingyun said

His minister added, ”Your Majesty, please donʼt forget about the Beast Stampede as well.”

”Okay, you come over and ask about it as well,” King Xingyun said as he left the surveillance room with his minister to meet Mu Zang.

---

At the Kingʼs receiving hall...

Seated on a table, sipping his drink, Mu Zang was patiently waiting for the king to arrive. It appears that he leaves Numen Town and heads straight to the capital, knowing full well that the Kingdom would intervene as soon as the Heavenly Guardian was damaged. Ye Jieye was kept in the dark about this, though, as only the other Heavenly Guardians were aware of it.

Fei Jue may be a wicked man imprisoned in the Anairam Trench, but he is still a Heavenly Guardian, and when he was nearly killed by his granddaughter-in-law, Mu Zang knew that the kingdom would undoubtedly become involved. Ye Jieye, his grandson, had undergone a significant transformation, and it opened his eyes to many new insights.

His children and his lover are his taboos. Anyone who dares to move them will receive his anger.

Ye Jieye doesnʼt fear anything in this world. He is stronger than any Heavenly Guardian.

Ye Jieye doesnʼt care about anything unless it involves his family.

Lastly, he is a person who doesnʼt follow anyoneʼs orders, even if the King himself makes a command or a decree. He will definitely rebel if he is forced to do so.

While Mu Zang does not fear the kingdom, he also does not want to make them his enemies just yet. This is because the Ruins of Time are in the capital. He has a strong belief that those who were trapped in that dungeon are still alive.

If their relationship with the kingdom deteriorates, they will not be able to save those who were trapped inside, including Ye Jieyeʼs real vessel and his husband, son, and daughter-in-law. Therefore, he can only visit the capital to report in person.

King Xingyun and his minister finally arrived. He was welcoming when he saw Mu Zang in the hall and approached the table he was seated on.

Mu Zang formally greeted the king. With courtesy in his words, he said.

”Zang from the Mu Clan greets the sun of the kingdom.”
