I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1207: 18.45 First Grey Star - Departure

The Lu Clan and the Mo Clan, horrified to learn of the Beast Stampede in the Tornado Mountain Ranges and fearing for their own grandsons, responded by dispatching someone to Somatic Town to look into the events of the Beast Stampede. Word of the event had also reached other parts of the capital.

Since it was on the verge of becoming a disaster, many people were curious as to what actually happened. A report of the collective results made its way to the two Heavenly Guardians, revealing that the hunter known as Satan was the one who put an end to the catastrophe. It appears that the beasts were scared of Ye Jieye because of a strange aura that was purplish-black in color.

Lu Wangle, who had just returned from Death Valley, scowled at this news at the Lu Clan; the Beast Stampede is too perilous, but the fact that his grandsonʼs aura alone could solve it brought to mind that cunning Tower of God.

While frowning, Lu Wangle asked, ”Where are they right now?”

Yes, they are still in Somatic Town, but they said that they would be heading home today as well. [They would be back to Numen Town before the sun had set.]

Lu Wangle said, ”I see. I will go to see my grandson three days from now. Make some preparations.”

”Yes, Ancestor!”

Lu Wangle didnʼt even notice the messengerʼs disdain and hatred, whether it was towards Ye Jieye or Lu Wangle—only this man knows. This middle-aged manʼs features are closer to those of Lu Shang and Lu Ming.

Meanwhile, at the Mo Clanʼs Territory...

They had also heard about the Beast Stampede. Mo Xinyue, the ancestor of this clan, was concerned for his two descendants who were present in the arena when the catastrophe occurred because he had not anticipated that the Beast Stampede would occur.

Mo Xinyue asked, ”A Beast Stampede from the Tornado Mountain Ranges? How about Mo Xuejing and Mo Yuhan!? Did you get someone to check on them?”

”Y-Yes, Ancestor. Both of them are safe. There were two Heavenly Guardians in the location when the Beast Stampede happened, so the casualties were lessened greatly. As for how the Beast Stampede had stopped, they said it was Satan who made a move. There are rumors saying that he is already possessing a strength capable of fighting against a Heavenly Guardian.”

Mo Xinyue asked, ”Is there something else?”

When this question was posed, the messenger hesitated for a moment, not knowing just how to answer the ancestor staring him in the eyes, even though he did have another piece of information. Mo Xinyue narrowed his eyes in response to the messengerʼs hesitancy.

Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue asked, ”What is it? Spit it out!”

”Ah! Yes. Our spy said they had seen Lord Mo... holding hands with... Satan. It seems that...

they had gotten together.”

There was silence for a while, and the messenger became very anxious within himself upon realizing that the ancestor had not responded to this information. The Mo Clan was well aware of the extent of the Lu and Mo Clanʼs animosity toward one another, and that Lu Wangle, the ancestor of the Lu Clan, was the source of this animosity.

The ancestor had changed his mind a lot after that incident where the other Heavenly Guardians barged into their territory with that young lord from the Lu Clan and revived their heir, but he did not openly restore their relationship with the Lu Clan. Something else had taken over the body of their young heir. It was a being they could never defy.

Mo Xinyue avoided this topic and pretended not to hear it. If it was the past, he would have definitely flipped up everything in his head just upon hearing about the Lu and anyone connected to them.

Mo Xinyue said, ”Send them a message. Tell them to never come back here.”

”Yes, Ancestor.”

There is no known reason for the Ancestorsʼ refusal to let Mo Xuejing and Mo Yuhan return to the clan, but word had spread about that presence, which continued to live alone in the separate mansion with the heirʼs body.

At a detached mansion inside the Mo Clanʼs domain. This mansion is fairly large and has a forest surrounding it. The atmosphere here is peaceful and natural, and the man who lives there despises crowds. However, on occasion, he would call Mo Xuejing to this location upon his return.

This man had long silver hair, but his eyes were strange in some way; one was like an obsidian gem, a shade darker than the night, and the other is silver, with the shade of hidden moonlight from within; his face was half covered by a black mask, showing only the lower portion, so Mo Xuejing had never noticed that this man looked so much like him when they had previously met.

This man is Chaos. No one knows why he took over the vessel of Hei Anjingʼs incarnation in this world. He did not intentionally harm the original owner of the body, nor did he assist in the creation of a suitable vessel for him. As for the memories that were rightfully the incarnationʼs, Chaos took control of them all.

He continues to observe the lifetimes that the main soul and the God of Void shared, their interactions, and the ways in which they formed a family.

There are also a lot of painful events that happened in the past. This made Chaos a bit angry, but he had no place to throw a tantrum. Chaos actually didnʼt know why he took over this vessel when he came to this world.

Chaos mumbles, ”I heard that Xiao Jing and Anʼer had come into this world with him. I canʼt wait to meet my babies and hug them in my arms.”

The four children of the God of Void and the God of Destruction had already met Chaos in their dreams, though they had never told their parents because Chaos had asked them to keep quiet. He had only met his children in their dreams. He could not control the dream because it was someone is domain, but slyly entering would not be an issue for him.

Back to Somatic Town...

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu and Doctor Sen bid them farewell when they had completed their preparations and assembled once more in the villa, which had already been cleaned up and restored to its original state in the town—after all, this was only rented by their group during the quest.

Because Roi is a divine dragon, his original size is the same as that of the pureblood dragon in this world; he could even wrap the entire world around if he so desired. Roi had returned to his original size as they were preparing to ride on his back at home. It stopped at a size at which he could allow everyone to ride on his back.

Heavenly Guardian Mu was already playing with his great-grandchildren, blissfully oblivious to their friends; Mo Xuejing remained by the elderʼs side, with Mo Yuhan tending to the children; Lu Shang and Leica had just returned, having turned in the key to the real estate state; Ye Jieye was leaning on Roi, biding his time until everyone was ready; Doctor Sen was chatting with Lu Ming, Su Jin, and Ji Yoonjun; after all, he was the one who had taken care of these brats during their stay in this town.

Doctor Sen said, ”Donʼt worry about the cafe. I will watch over it for you.”

”Thank you, Grandpa Sen. We will be back after our journey,” Su Jin said as he looked like he was about to cry again.

As an orphan with no one to turn to, Doctor Sen was like their savior; Ji Yoonjun, on the other hand, was portrayed like the original and acted as Ji Yoonjun would have done when Ji Yoonjun met the old man. Of course, Ji Yoonjun would not be disrespectful towards such a kind old man.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Grandpa Sen, even though we are not here to send you food, please donʼt forget to eat on time.

”Aigo, I know. Donʼt worry. I will eat on time. Though I will miss the cooking of you two,” Doctor Sen said.

Beside them, Lu Ming was caught by this old dwarf, Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu spoke, ”I heard you are going to the other danger zones. Death Forest is actually more deadly than the Tornado Mountain Range, especially at night. Avoid staying a night in that danger zone. The beast temporarily increases their grade when the blue moon is out.”

”Blue Moon? That thing is real?” Lu Ming asked in surprise.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said, ”Of course, itʼs real. Iʼve been there before. In the Death Forest, hunting while the sun is out is still okay, but the night is so dangerous that hunters rarely stay inside this forest during the night.”

”Senior, I will keep your words in mind,” Lu Ming said.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu laughed and gave Lu Ming a back pat that nearly caused the children to spit blood from the force. Although this Heavenly Guardian is small in stature because of his dwarf ancestry, his strength surpasses that of humans. Receiving a salary from this elderly man is like taking a sledgehammer to the back.

Cough. Cough. cough.

Doctor Sen scolded, ”Stop that, Wu. Do you want to kill the kid?”

”Tsk! His physical body is too weak. He should not just train his elemental qi or it would be unbalanced. Kid, train your body. At least achieve an equilibrium between your elemental qi and the vessel. Your elder brother dwelled with his body though,” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said as he noticed the muscles on Lu Shangʼs body.

He might look thin, but in that body of his, not even an ounce of fat can be seen. All of it was muscle and flesh.

”Youngsters these days lean more toward increasing their elemental qi alone and suffering a backlash at higher levels. If you continue doing such a thing, you will only end up crippled!” Xian Wu said to Lu Ming.

Lu Ming seriously said, ”I will train my body, Senior!”

”Good. Just follow whatever your big brother will tell you to do. He knows what he is doing,” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said.

Lu Ming said, ”But Senior, how about my cousin? How come his body is so strong? Much stronger than my big brother.”

”Cousin, you donʼt mean that dangerous-looking handsome lad? That kid and the lad with silver eyes are different from you guys. They are born with divine physique and are different from birth. They are geniuses of their generation. That canʼt be achieved by training alone. They fought countless battles of life and death to get such strength,” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu whispered.

Lu Ming mumbles, ”Life and death?”

”Yes, the kind with blood in their hands. Actually... This kid Ji Yoonjunʼs aura is similar, but his scent is a lot weaker compared to that cousin of yours. Your brother and his lover are similar to your cousin and his partner. Since they are a group, then thatʼs normal,” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said.

Seeing Lu Ming and Su Jin dumbfounded after hearing what Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu had said, Doctor Sen glares at Xian Wu, who caused such a thing.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Donʼt worry. They arenʼt the type to kill indiscriminately. But they are indeed merciless when it comes to their enemies. After all, being kind to you enough is being cruel to yourselves. They have children to protect after all. Just donʼt become their enemy.”

”What this kid said is right? They are better as friends than as enemies. The bloodline of that lunatic is extremely protective of their family. This is also the reason why Mu Zang hated Lu Wangleʼs guts,” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said.

Following this brief exchange of words, Lu Shang summoned the three just as they were about to depart. With Ye Jieyeʼs approval, they all mounted Roiʼs back and departed, the enormous black dragonʼs appearance no longer surprising them as they had already seen it twice. Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu and Doctor Sen watched over them as they vanished into the sky.

Despite his rather melancholy appearance, Doctor Sen treated Ji Yoonjun and Su Jin like his grandkids; the two orphans grew up under his tutelage and matured into capable, good-hearted adult men.

”They are gone,” he mumbles.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu sighed and patted his partnerʼs back gently. ”Iʼm still here. I will stay with you like you did to me.”

”Okay. Let us old men wait for the children to come back in the future,” Doctor Sen said.
