I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1212: 18.50 First Grey Star - Hunting in the Death Forest again.

After eating breakfast, Lu Ming, Mo Yuhan, Su Jin, and Ji Yoonjun went to the Death Forest. Lu Shang and Leica were seeing them off at the entrance.

Looking confused, Lu Ming asked, ”Big Brother, arenʼt you supposed to come with us?”

”Of course not, Brat! We will trail you and only come out when your life is in danger. As long as you only have one breath of life left, we wonʼt come out. Just think of us picking up your corpse. Hahaha~” Lu Shang said with his voice filled with mockery.

With the exception of Ji Yoonjun, the other three were scowling; they had not anticipated this.

Death Forest is the most dangerous hunting area; they claimed that the weather in this area is unpredictable; it might rain now, but if they were unlucky, it might rain acid instead of rain; additionally, there is a chance of hallucinating mist or poison fog, both of which can appear out of nowhere, surprise the hunter, and cause them to die.

Furthermore, because they are accustomed to this type of environment and because all of the ingredients in the Death Forest are thought to be mutated and highly valued, it can be said that neither the beasts nor the ingredients that inhabit this land are affected by the seasonal changes.

Lu Shang looked at Ji Yoonjun and said, ”You can save them if we donʼt come on time. One is on the brink of death, okay?”

”Yes, sir!” Ji Yoonjun said.

When Su Jin saw this, he was shocked to learn that the soul in his brotherʼs body belonged to someone who shared the same place as Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing, but that even Lu Shangʼs brother had been replaced. Su Jinʼs terrified expression was so clear that Lu Shang was unable to look away; fear of what was unknown was visible in his eyes.

Lu Shang raised an eyebrow and said, ”Whatʼs wrong with this brat?”

”He recognized that I am not, so he knows,” Ji Yoonjun said.

Lu Shang said, ”How is it possible? Are you able to OOC?”

”AʼShang, in a world with the Lords, all original laws are useless, especially in the world where my masterʼs incarnation is born,” Leica said.

Lu Shang said, ”That seems right. Brat, you explain it to him properly if you have time. Weʼre leaving. The Lord, send some errands.”

He leads the company into the Death Forest, with Leica trailing closely behind. Lord Mo had grown weary of eating meat, so they set out to find a few non-meat components.

The only people who would remember this scene were Su Jin, who had been cut off from the original timeline and realized the truth of this world, and Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan, who overheard their conversation but could not understand anything at all. Unlike them, they did not realize anything strange at all.

Ji Yoonjun patted Su Jinʼs shoulder and said, ”Donʼt think too much. Unlike my situation, Lu Shang is still better. They would wake up when we leave, but I... would have to stay here until the end of this vesselʼs life.”

After hearing that, Su Jin calmed down and realized that the bodies of Lu Shang and the others were borrowed, not taken over forcefully, unlike his brotherʼs situation, where he gave his body in order to allow himself to be reborn. Thinking about the original Ji Yoonjun, Su Jin found it nearly impossible to contain his tears.

Ji Yoonjun whispered, ”As per Ji Yoonjunʼs wish, I shall protect you in this life. So, Xiao Jin, live the life you want and leave the rest to me.”

Su Jin suddenly hugged Ji Yoonjun while shouting, Brother. He was crying all of a sudden and left the other two bewildered. After a few minutes, Su Jin finally calmed down.

”Okay, stop crying. I will lead the way in the first half,” Ji Yoonjun said. As he passed by Lu Ming, he gave him a warning gaze, which Mo Yuhan also saw.

Mo Yuhan said, ”Heh~, it seems you need his approval before you can marry your Xiao Jin.”

”I know. Follow him. Keep close, Xiao Jin.” Lu Ming smiled when he held Su Jinʼs hands; he had a feeling he needed to hold his hand closer, as if he had let it go once already.

Su Jin smiled back and said, ”Okay.”

”Tsk! A stupid couple! Hmp!” Mo Yuhan grumbled before following Ji Yoonjun.

Somewhere in the Death Forest...

A huge black-and-white Tibetan mastiff, sized like a baby elephant, was carrying two human cubs on his back while running in the forest, chased by honey bees.

Buzz~ buzzzz~ Buzzing!

When Oreo and the two honey-covered brats started fleeing, it seemed like they were not being pursued. The wasps, seeing them so carelessly, decided to hit them from a distance and utilized the thorn on their buttocks as a bullet.

Buzz~ buzzz~ whoosh. Whooshed!

A few deadly arrows flew in their direction but were noticed by Ye Jingxia.

”Bad. Bad bee! Ice~ Ice Shield! Fly!”

The woodland echoes with Ye Jingxiaʼs meaningless cries, yet a dense wall of ice materialized in the thin air, preventing the honey waspʼs thorn assault while also flying in its direction and smashing it, smashing those legendary-grade materials with unmatched force.

Anxia, whose face was covered with honey but finished sucking on the ones in her hands, calls, ”Ge~ gege~ want more! Ghive meh~”

”Haha~ okay!” Ye Jingxia said as he pulled one of the honey jars they stole from the Honey Wasp Beehive.

A small black snake peeks out from Ye Jingxiaʼs sleeves; it is Roi in his shrinking form. They took almost everything, which is why they are being chased. Honey wasp honey tastes better than honey bee honey. Since these cubs inherited their dadʼs sweet tooth, taking all the honey is normal.

{Young Lord. We must find a river so you two can take a bath. If we go home with both of you looking like that, your dad will get angry,} Roi said.

Ye Jingxia remembered his fatherʼs insistence on cleanliness, and he reasoned that if they came home drenched in honey, Mo Xuejing would probably take a long time to scrub them all clean and seize their desserts.

Ye Jingxia, who is afraid of being scolded by his dad, patted Oreoʼs back and said, ”Oreo, look for a river. We must take a bath!”

Woof! Woof!

After barking, Oreo ran toward the scent of water—this was his masterʼs order, after all—and crossed many beasts on his way to the closest river, where the aura of two enormous beasts—Oreo and the Black Dragon—surrounded them and prevented anyone from stopping them.

When they got to the river—the reverse fall river, where Ye Jieye had caught a great deal of gemstone crabs—they were taken aback to see Lu Shang and Leica catching crayfish, shrimp, and crabs.

Lu Shang had just finished being pulled out of the water, and colorful crabs and jade shrimp were huddled together, wiggling, trying to escape, trapped in a net made of a material so hard that their pincers could hardly cut it.

Ye Jingxia said, ”Uncle Lou, Uncle Yun, why are you here?”

”Young Lord, Princess? This is the middle region. How come you guys come here? Lord Hei will get angry,” Lu Shang said with a reprimanding tone.

Leica, on the other hand, saw that they were covered in honey and realized that they must have stolen something from the honey wasps at the borders of the outer region and unintentionally entered the middle region when they were running.

It is true that Ye Jingxia and Anxia had free range to play in Numen Town and Death Forest, but Mo Xuejing forbade them from entering the middle and core regions alone.

Leica approached them and used a clean towel to clean their faces, arms, and hands. The two were used to being served by someone, and Leica did as he wanted.

”Donʼt scold them anymore. Honey Wasps might have chased them and can only run here to wash up.” Leica helped the two go down from Oreoʼs back and carefully removed their clothes.

Lu Shang saw them like this, so he gave up and made a bonfire so they could cook something hot for the cubs. With a wave of his hand, his red string artifact created a division in the river and threw a firestone in it to heat the water in that small area. Only then did he let Ye, Jingxia, and Oreo jump inside. As for the little princess, Leica had to go into the water and help her bathe.

While this group of youths was at ease as usual, the other group was not. At the edge of the outer region, Mo Yuhan and Lu Ming saw an empty beehive. This is the same beehive from which Ye Jingxia stole honey jars; at least half of the jars were still there.

These young men felt fortunate to see such an empty beehive and took a few jars as well, but they were careful not to take too much because their space equipment was limited.

Lu Ming said, ”Itʼs amazing that thereʼs a legendary-grade ingredient at the border of the outer region of the Death Forest, as expected of the most abundant danger zone.”

”Shut up and take it as soon as possible. Honey wasps make delicious honey, but their poison is deadly. We need to leave as soon as possible,” Mo Yuhan said.

Buzz~ Buzzing~

Ji Yoonjun grabbed Su Jin like a sack of potatoes and shouted, ”Run! These bugs are vengeful!”

Before the honey bee noticed them, three men fled on foot. After all, they had stolen their honey; even with their vengeance, they would not allow them get away without a fight. Who would have guessed that they would cross up with one of them while traveling?

BUZZZZ~

”Shit!”

”No! Stop it!”

Lu Ming raised his dagger, about to cut it in half, but was stopped by Su Jin. The former instinctively stopped and looked at his lover, who ran towards them, where the honey wasp.

Mo Yuhan tried to hold him back. ”Wait! They are dangerous.”

All of a sudden, a huge basket of wrinkle leaf goldenrod flowers appeared on Su Jinʼs hand. With a smile, he approached the Honey bee and said,

”We only took two jars of your honey; no one was there, so I didnʼt find some to exchange. I will give this to you in exchange; please donʼt be angry.”

At first, there is just one honey wasp, but the aroma of the wrinkle-leaf goldenrod attracts a lot of these wasps, and they congregate in large numbers. Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan saw this and were about to draw their weapons when the honey beeʼs buzzing turned deadly.

Ji Yoonjun warned, ”Pull that out, and Xiao Jin will die!”

The honey beeʼs buzzing stopped as soon as the two raised their empty hands, accepting the basket of flowers and taking off, ignoring the four humans because the fresh flowers in the basket were too delicious to resist and they were no longer in danger of being followed.

Such an event shocked Mo Yuhan and Lu Ming, who never imagined that a basket of wrinkle-leaf goldenrod flowers would be enough to keep those spiteful beasts at bay.

”Thatʼs amazing. How did you do that?” Mo Yuhan asked.

Su Jing opened his palm and revealed a dry but palm-sized bee wing. Itʼs the shed wing part of a honey bee, but itʼs unexpectedly big.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Honey Wasp Queen dried wings. No wonder no Wasp Guard appeared when Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan took two jars of honey. You went to negotiate directly with a God-level Honey Wasp Queen.”

”Um. She was on the verge of giving birth to more wasps, but someone took a large part of their honey, and most of her guards ran out to catch it. She said that she needed a lot of flowers, so I planted something more around their beehive. In exchange, she allowed us to take away two jars. There was no need to run away from the start,” Su Jin said.

Lu Ming said, ”Why didnʼt you tell me?”

”Before he can explain, you two fools run in already. Who are you to ask why?!” Ji Yoonjun said.

The two men were afraid that there was a God-level existence in this beehive, but they were also too pleased to witness a legendary-grade ingredient unsecured, as Ji Yoonjun mentioned, so they felt humiliated, as they genuinely did.

Mo Yuhan said, ”No wonder itʼs too large. There is a god-grade queen wasp inside.”

”Remember, this is the Death Forest. There is a lot of hidden danger in this place,” Ji Yoonjun said.

”Yes, we apologize,” the two men said as they felt wronged like children.
