I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1211: 18.49 First Grey Star - Another peaceful day

Upon arriving at the Kingʼs Castle, Mu Zang was granted an audience with both King Xingyun and Prime Minister Fu. The former provided all of the information requested by the two, but he withheld information regarding his grandsonʼs unusual talent.

Although he refrained from informing the King and his Minister, their curiosity could not be disregarded, and Mu Zang had no intention of disclosing this information to them. Upon witnessing Mu Zangʼs abrupt change of subject, the King and his minister decided not to inquire further on the subject.

They had a long conversation that lasted for hours. When the sun is about to set, Mu Zang asks to be excused.

Mu Zang said, ”This conversation had taken too long. My family is still waiting for me at home. Do excuse my leave for now, your majesty.”

”Go ahead. Eating with family should be fulfilled,” His Majesty King Xingyun said.

After bidding farewell to the king, Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang took his leave. He didnʼt even have any hesitation in his steps as he left the castle.

After he left, King Xingyun and his minister, Fu Zin, had another conversation.

”He is quite tight-lipped, your majesty,” Minister Fu Zin said.

King Xingyun sighed, ”That is after all his last family members. Even if you kill him, he wonʼt say a word. His other half and son failed to escape the Ruin of Time because of our decree, which Heavenly Guardian Lu had completed. Deep in his heart, he hated the royal family.”

”Should we invite Ye Jieye into the palace?” Minister Fu Zin suggested.

Unexpectedly, his majesty shook his head and felt even more tired: ”He had already become the only man we cannot move. Or else it wouldnʼt be just Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang we need to fight against but also Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle and Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue as well.”

”Why would they?” Minister Fu Zin asked. He didnʼt believe that those two clans would go against the Royal Family.

King Xingyun said, ”That decree... Itʼs the worst decision Iʼve made. Because I forced Lu Wangle to close the gate of the Ruin of Time, I felt his regret and chose to create a distance between his clan and the royal family. Mu Zang had it worse. He lost all of them, and if not for his husbandʼs sacrifice, maybe even his grandson would not exist.

The Mo Clan also lost Mo Anjingʼs parents in that ruin as well.”

The kingʼs heart grew heavier the more he considered the ruins of time. The Heavenly Guardians were all his sworn brothers, and although any one of them could rule a kingdom by strength alone, they chose to be Heavenly Guardians of his kingdom because he begged them to do so.

”I failed them greatly, but as a monarch, my priority is already different from theirs,” King Xingyun mumbles as he leaves the hall with a lonely figure.

Numen Town, Ye Familyʼs Restaurant...

After their return, the treehouse restaurant was eventually opened, with Ye Jingxia and Anxia emerging to play on Oreo; the two systems and Roi went with them. Ye Jieye is in the kitchen, and Mo Xuejing is restocking the boxes outside the restaurant with produce, which they brought back from their trip to the Tornado Mountain Ranges and decided to sell.

When his cousin and others arrived, Mo Xuejing was methodically organizing the fruits and vegetables that would be sold on the stall. He was dressed in a long apron that is exactly the same as his husbandʼs black apron.

Mo Yuhan said, ”Cousin, good morning! Whatʼs for lunch?”

”Itʼs pasta. Perfect Snow Vermillion Pheasant Alfredo, Cajun-Stuffed Snow Vermillion Pheasant, Cream Mushroom soup, Avocado Toast, and Ceasar Salad.” Mo Xuejing replied with a smile while checking each fruit before arranging it on the stall.

As for the four young men, they were already drooling and running inside the restaurant. Lu Shang and Leica greeted Mo Xuejing with a bow. This shows how much they respect him.

Lu Shang says, ”Greetings, Lord Mo!”

”A pleasant morning, my lord!” Leica said.

Mo Xuejing said, ”Oh~ welcome. Go ahead and eat. Donʼt mind me, weʼve already eaten. I think AʼYe need you for something. Go inside.”

”Yes, please excuse us,” Lu Shang and Leica said before getting inside the restaurant.

When they first arrived at the restaurant, they saw the two brazen brats, Mo Yuhan and Lu Ming, running into the kitchen and helping themselves to food; Su Jin and Ji Yoonjun, on the other hand, were waiting at the table, but their gazes were fixed on the kitchen as well.

Those who have enjoyed food prepared by a chef of the gods, such as Ye Jieye, are ecstatic and even jealous of the residents of this town who get to enjoy his cooking on a daily basis. In addition, the owner only ever uses legendary and rare ingredients in the cooking; there have never been any elite or commonplace ingredients in this restaurant.

Su Jin said, ”Big brother, Brother Leica, sit here. AʼMing and Yuhan went to the kitchen to get breakfast.”

As for Ye Jieye, he just finished preparing lunch and went to the backyard, where he put up a fence and waved his hand to make blue grass stalks appear out of thin air, floating with a single gesture; they were all planted on the ground. There are also some fruit trees in the corners of the fence, revealing a few ripe yellow mangoes.

After a few minutes, Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan emerge with a few trays in their hands and serve them to everyone.

Sunshine mangoes emit sunlight, which helps grow plants. Itʼs a first-class, legendary-grade fruit. He bought the seeds online. It would be something Lu Ming and other hunters would have a hard time buying, but he had exchanged them with a few demigod-ranked potatoes and sweet potatoes to get them.

After finishing the fence, Ye Jieye brought out the rainbow cows that he and Mo Xuejing had taken from the Tornado Mountain Ranges. The rainbow cows had rainbow colored fur, which was as soft as lamb fur, and their colorful shade was what gave them the name rainbow.

Since he did not use it to bait the behemoth carabao, he would use it to feed the rainbow cows, so he replanted this bluegrass, which the rainbow cowsʼ favorite fodder.

Moo~ mooo~ Moooo~

The blue grass Mo Xuejing had with him was used to entice the two adult rainbow cows he caught; he did not anticipate Ye Jieye still having some. Mo Xuejing materialized alongside him and was definitely aware of what Ye Jieye had done.

”You didnʼt use the blue grass to hunt the Behemoth Carabao?” Mo Xuejing asked.

Ye Jieye said, ”I went directly to their territory to catch a few. The rainbow cow adult and calf are something I found by chance on my way back.”

”With these cows, we should have enough milk. With milk, we can make a lot of cheese, butter, and various desserts. I canʼt wait for it. But the stocks of fruits are almost used up; what should we do, AʼYe?” Mo Xuejing asked.

Ye Jieye helped him wipe his face, which had a few traces of dust, with a clean handkerchief. He responded to him. ”Tomorrow we will go with the cubs to the core of the Death Forest and pick a lot of fruits.”

”Thereʼs an orchard in the middle of the Death Forest?” Mo Xuejing asked.

Though he seldom hunted in this dangerous zone because he would heard that his grandfather did not get along with Grandpa Mu, he did not need to ponder long to realize how important the orchard would be if it were in the core region of a risk zone like the Death Forest.

Ye Jieye smiled and said, ”Yes, you and the cubs will definitely like it there.”

”Okay! I saw Xiao Jing and Xiao Xia going in the direction of the Death Forest. Is it alright to leave them be?” Mo Xuejing asked worriedly.

Ye Jieye said, ”Donʼt worry, Oreo and Roi are with them, and Yue and Yang will protect them. I have forbidden them to enter the core region.”

”Lu Shang and Leica had arrived. Do you need them for something?” Mo Xuejing asked.

Ye Jieye said, ”You said you wanted some seafood hotpot for dinner. I want to ask them to get some gemstone crabs and jade shrimps in the Death Forest.”

”Hotpot is delicious. Iʼm tired of meat lately,” Mo Xuejing said.

Ye Jieye laughed. ”Well, weʼve been eating meat for days. Itʼs normal to get sick.”

The couple lives a simple life, running a restaurant, farming a little bit in the backyard, and playing with the kids. These are very precious moments for them, and they could not help but unwind. After breakfast, the group was now enjoying a bowl of mango float with sago, which was made by Mo Xuejing.

Ye Jieye taught him how to make desserts, and since Hei Anjingʼs cooking is superior to Ye Xiajieʼs, these sweets are delicious even just by themselves.

Mo Yuhan exclaims, ”Cousin! This is so delicious!!”

”Oi! If youʼre not going to finish yours, give me your bowl,” Lu Ming said.

Mo Yuhan grabbed a bowl and said, ”This is mine! Fuck off!”

”Stop fighting! There is more in the fridge!” Mo Xuejing said.

There are already early customers in the restaurant, so Mo Xuejing had to stop the two troublesome brats from making a scene inside the restaurant.

”Lady Boss, what are they eating? Can you serve us a bowl too?” A customer asked.

Mo Xuejing blushed when he heard the customer refer to him as the lady boss. Ye Jieye, who was leaning at the counter, overheard the conversation. The customers began referring to Mo Xuejing as the Lady Boss because he is the owner, Ye Jieyeʼs wife as well as the father of the two adorable cubs who have returned from their play.

”L-Lady Boss??”

”Good eyes, brother!” Ye Jieye said. ”Itʼs my wifeʼs mango float sago. It can be drunk or served with ice cream. Which do you want?”

”Lady Boss made it!? Boss, give me a cup!”

”Boss, give me one with ice cream!”

”Me too.”

”Me three.”

In the end, only a bowl per table was served to the customer, as most of the Mango Float Sago ended up in the stomachs of the two gluttons, Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan, who had had enough and heard the customer asking for it. They ran to the kitchen to get a big bow for themselves, ignoring the protest of the customers behind them and enjoying the dessert Mo Xuejing made.

The Mango Float Sago was so good that customers nearly swallowed their tongues, and a small bowl was not even enough. Unfortunately, Mo Xuejing did not make that much because it was his first time making it, and he was afraid to waste some ingredients. Who would have thought it would be loved by everyone?

The two brats were happily rubbing their round stomachs while receiving glares from the surrounding customers.
