I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1209: 18.47 First Grey Star - Heavenly Guardian Fei Jue, the Mermaid.

Being ambushed on their way home irritated Ye Jieye. A limit to his patience existed; after all, he had already forgotten about these men and was eager to get home. However, since they are seeking death, Ye Jieye had no reason to turn a blind eye to another. He would not have cared much if it was him who was being targeted, but no, they just have to choose his children from all people.

He goes to the sea, where their headquarters are situated. These assassins, like bastards, live in the danger zone itself, which is to be expected from one of the factions that guards it. Already enraged, Ye Jieye altered their flight path and set out to exact revenge on this bunch of idiots.

Like the mysterious Starfall Garden in space, the Anairam Trench is a dangerous zone that has not been fully explored. No one knows what was on this deep underwater cliff, but they do know who was guarding this strange danger zone. The sea in this world is large and wide, and it is more dangerous than the land because it is almost unexplored.

The sea is full of creatures, and the depths of it are almost as endless as the galaxies. Most hunters avoid the water because they cannot breathe there.

As the Heavenly Guardian of Anairam Trench—which is actually his prison, sealed by the other Heavenly Guardians—He is a merman with a half-human bloodline who was banished by the merman race after being rejected in the human lands. However, this manʼs past is extremely notorious; prior to becoming the Heavenly Guardian of Anairam Trench, he massacred his own mermaid tribe.

He was a mutation of his tribe, which is why he was banished; he was sealed by humans, which is why he hated them; he was only seen by the other Heavenly Guardians. There were rumors that he was extremely beautiful and that his racial ability was even stronger than that of pureblood mermaids. He was naturally resentful of humans and had even vowed to kill them for locking him in this dangerous area.

Thus he began to assemble those who had also been banished here, for unlike the other danger zones, this one could be visited at any time, and the only way out was to persuade someone to take him out, failing which one would be imprisoned there indefinitely, much like Heavenly Guardian Fei Jue.

A massive black dragon looms over the Anairam Trench right now. Fei Jue has some servants, or fishermen, watch over the danger zoneʼs entrance, and they immediately alert the people inside when they spot the dragon approaching. Naturally, Heavenly Guardian Fei Jue was the one who personally learned of this.

Actually, there is no need for his minions to report. As a vengeful being, he already sensed the familiar aura of Mu Zang coming closer.

Ye Jieye casually peered down at the seaʼs steep cave-like cliff; a few armed fishermen blocked their passage, but Roi merely needed to flick his tail to go past them.

”Is he inside, Gramps?” Ye Jieye asked.

Mu Zang was a bit afraid. Even though he knew that his grandson was strong, he couldnʼt help but fear that he might lose him as well.

”He is, but... are you going in? Let this old man come with you,” Mu Zang said.

Ye Jieye looked at his grandfather with a frown. ”There is no need. I will be back soon.”

As Ye Jieye was about to leap through the opening, they heard Heavenly Guardian Fei Jueʼs own ethereal voice from inside. It seemed to have reached very close to their ears, hypnotizing the weak in the process.

{Mu Zang, did you come to gift me your life? Unfortunately, I am no longer interested in you. But your great-grandchildren seem to be interesting. They can be my toys for a few years~}

Upon hearing those words, everyoneʼs face darkened. Unexpectedly, Mo Xuejing, who had previously been aloof and uncaring, became enraged. While he would have tolerated it if the man had not dared to tease his family, who had told him to specifically target his children? His fury reached a breaking point, causing his entire body to turn white with frost.

Even Mu Zang was surprised that his grandson had chosen to be a freak like him, but everyone could feel Mo Xuejingʼs frigid aura even from a distance, and much of the sea turned to ice.

Mo Xuejingʼs tone turned cold and menacing as he said the following words: ”Whose children do you want as toys?”

{... Who are you? Why is your ice even more powerful than Mo Xinyue?}

Who would have anticipated that this guy who was half fish would laugh so much that he would further tease Mo Xuejing? Mo Xuejing was attempting to contain his anger and disregard this question.

{Heh~ I know now... Are you the one who gave birth to those toys of mine? So you are from the Mo Clan...}

Then, in front of everyone, Mo Xuejing silently and fearlessly jumped inside the Anairam Trench. Ye Jieye was stunned himself, as he forgot all the annoying feelings in his heart the moment he saw his wife jump into the sea. Mu Zang was speechless by what he witnessed. Mo Xuejing turns to leave and looks at Leica.

Leica understood what his master wanted to do and took Ye Jingxia and Anxia from Mo Xuejing without saying a word.

SPLASHED!

{Hahaha~ since you went in! There is no need to come out anymore!!}

Silence~

BOOOOM! BAAANG! SPLASHED! BOOOM!

The red sea bubbled out of the trench itself, accompanied by the sounds of innumerable explosions and the cries of dying creatures; it continued to bubble until the sea above the Anairam Trenchʼs opening was entirely reddened with blood, indicating the number of creatures that perished inside the trench and spilled out of the only way in and out of the Anairam Trench.

{Ahhh! Fuck! What the hell are you!? Shit! Are you really human!? Argh!!

Donʼt remove my scale... It hurts. Iʼm sorry... Iʼm just joking! I only planned to kidnap your children and use them as a token to summon the Heavenly Guardians! No.

No. I beg you... Spare me... Please... Mu Zang, stop this lunatic!! Urgh!!!}

Screams of agony, groans of pain, and pleas for life resound throughout the trench, audible to everyone waiting above the Anairam Trench. Mu Zang was astounded by what he was hearing, realizing that the voice he had just heard was that of Fei Jue, a Heavenly Guardian. But how could he be able to hear him pleading for his life?

The blood spilling out of the trench is too thick, making the seawater unclear, but Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan were doing their best to look through the pool of blood, hoping to get at least a glimpse of what was going on within the trench.

Lu Ming asked, ”What do you think your cousin is doing down there?”

”I donʼt know. Based on how angry his cousin is, he might be torturing him. Hmp! Who told him to call out my nephew and niece as toys? Serves him right!” Mo Yuhan said.

Su Jin said, ”But thatʼs a Heavenly Guardian, right?”

”Donʼt worry. To Lord Mo, it wonʼt be a problem for him to beat up a Heavenly Guardian,” Ji Yoonjun said.

Su Jin asked, ”Really?”

”Haha~ Of course! Itʼs real,” Lu Shang said.

{Sobs~ sobs~ Wuwuwu~}

The cries were replaced by someone sobbing and the sound of something being scrubbed or rubbed, and everyone was left perplexed until the pool of blood at the Anairam Trenchʼs entrance turned to ice and split, and an ice staircase slowly rose from the trenchʼs opening before a thick wall of water burst through it.

When Ye Jieye saw this, he leaped down without thinking. As soon as his feet touched the water, ripples appeared beneath it, but he did not sink; instead, the God of Void controlled his qi, enabling him to stand on the sea. In front of everyone, the haughty man with a distant expression on his face knelt on one knee.

He extended his right hand toward the water barrier and pulled Mo Xuejing out of it, embracing him.

Unexpectedly propelled forward, Mo Xuejing attempted to steady himself right away, but all he could manage was to throw his arms around Ye Jieyeʼs neck, while two large hands grasped his waist to keep him balanced.

With a doting smile and a gentle gaze on that devilishly handsome face, Ye Jieye asked, ”No longer angry?”

Blushing from the sudden shortening of the distance between their faces, Mo Xuejing responded shyly. ”I beat him up, but I didnʼt kill him, as he still needed to guard this place. But I took his scale, and his teeth turned to pearls. It should be enough for the children to play with.”

Leica, having done his duty, came back beside Lu Shang. Mo Xuejing grinned as he gathered unusual toys for his kids to play with. This could be regarded as his first gift to his cubs. Ye Jieye carried him correctly, and it only took one jump to return to the back of Roiʼs head. Ye Jingxia and Anxia happily ran back toward their parents and hugged them.

Ye Jieye said, ”Roi, head home.”

ROOAAR~

A massive black dragon and a huge hawk took off toward the land once more, but Mu Zang remained silent the entire way, and only he and Ye Jieye witnessed what Mo Xuejing had done in that trench.

While Mo Xuejing was giving his gifts to the children, Mu Zang approached his grandson and whispered. ”Xiao Ye, your darling is a badass!” He actually witnessed everything within that trench as he could see through that blood sea.

The bloody portion of the sea was created when Mo Xuejing threw the ice clunks with beings inside above and applied enough force to completely crush the ice, including the frozen beings inside. This is how the ice was crushed to the point where only their blood remained and mixed with the seawater.

Initially, all the water was frozen when Mo Xuejing jumped inside the trench and threw the ice with captured enemies at the entrance of the trench.

When Mo Xuejing discovered the mermaid, Fei Jue, he immediately grabbed his tail and began to slam his body from every angle of the trench like a toy. The lovely young man was ruthless. He slammed the mermaid with great force, enough to deform Fei Jueʼs face.

This mermaid began to cry out of unimaginable pain, and his tears turned into pearls, which attracted Mo Xuejingʼs attention because it was a glowing pearl, and he believed his kids would love it. Therefore, he continued to beat the mermaid until his shape covered the cliffʼs walls.

This gave Fei Jue a bad premonition. Mo Xuejing stopped hitting him on the wall and threw him in front of him. Fei Jue never felt more worthless as a Heavenly Guardian than he does now. Mo Xuejing looked at his tail with greed, or more precisely, his gradient rainbow-colored scales. Fei Jue felt a shiver run down his spine when he saw his silver irises glint with mirth.

Subsequently, a traumatic event for a creature the size of a half-fish had finally occurred, making his bad premonition come true. Mo Xuejingʼs eyes never once left his tail upon noticing the rainbow gradient shade of his scale there, and his face was painted with extreme fear upon witnessing Mo Xuejing create a nice piece of ice.

He can only cry as Mo Xuejing removes some of his scales; even though this devil did not remove all of the fishʼs scales, the sensation is equivalent to skinning a human alive.

That was Mo Xuejingʼs will, regardless of Fei Jueʼs pleading. He reasoned that his kids would appreciate the fish scales, so he took a few of them. He was ruthless because this was the bastard who had attempted to kidnap his kids twice, so this could be seen as a small punishment for this foolish fish.

After getting what he wanted, Mo Xuejing looked at the trebling mermaid, covered in wounds, in front of him. ”Be thankful that Iʼm sparing your life. Target my children again, and Iʼll have my husband turn you into a sashimi.”

Hih~

”Iʼm sorry. Never again. No more!” Fei Jue swam deeper into the trench as he fled from the devil with an angelʼs face behind him.

Mo Xuejing did not decide to leave until he had gotten what he wanted and all of his anger had subsided. To be honest, after hearing what Grandpa Mu had said, he was afraid he would not be able to leave alone, but he trusted his husband and knew that he could get out of here with his assistance.

Who would have thought that as soon as he reached out his hand towards the water barrier that locked him in, someone would grab him and pull him out of the trench? When he saw Ye Jieyeʼs smiling face, he felt that his world had finally filled with light once more.
