Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Originally, although many people felt some resentment towards their ancestors for not saving the world, they were timid and never dared to voice their thoughts. Now, knowing that the world was about to be destroyed and they were going to perish, these ”cowardly” people went completely mad, hysterically cursing in both the online and real world, viciously cursing the ancestors of their ancestors for eighteen generations!

This time, the ancestors had thoroughly stirred the hornet’s nest of Earth’s eight billion people!

Meanwhile.

Gu Wei, who was on the phone with Lu Li, was already frightened to tears.

He pleaded into the phone, ”Mr. Lu! I beg you! Please don’t destroy the Earth!”

Lu Li’s chuckle came through the phone, ”Why would I destroy the Earth for no reason?”

Originally scared to tears, Gu Wei was stunned, ”Aren’t you going to destroy the Earth with such a gigantic super asteroid?”

Lu Li yawned and said, ”Just having some fun; after all, I mentioned sinking a certain island country and peninsula, and the whole world did not believe it, so let them see. Alright, I have my own things to do, talk later.”

With that, there was a click, and Lu Li on the other end hung up the phone directly.

Gu Wei listened to the busy tone on the phone, his whole face bewildered.

He really couldn’t imagine how Earth could not be destroyed by a thousand-kilometer-wide super asteroid crashing down.

Nevertheless, he quickly conveyed this information to his boss and his boss’s boss.

As a result, all the higher-ups knew Lu Li did not really intend to destroy the Earth.

They also became curious, wanting to know what would happen when the super asteroid came crashing down soon, and how Lu Li would stop the world-destroying power from spreading.

Under everyone’s angry or expectant gaze, the super asteroid finally crashed down on the location of a certain island country at an incredible speed.

Instantly, an intense light bright enough to illuminate the entire world soared up from the impact site.

This intense light was like a blazing sun suddenly appearing in the middle of the night, terrifyingly powerful, piercing through the clouds, engulfing the whole world!

A thunderous roar also echoed almost simultaneously.

The terrifying roar caused the whole Earth to tremble!

It’s over!

This time it’s really over!

Everyone was utterly hopeless.

Some even closed their eyes.

Silently waiting for the dreadful shockwave to sweep across the globe, annihilating the entire Earth.

Yet, an unimaginable, astounding event occurred!

Just when the super asteroid collided with the island country, about to unleash endless destructive power.

In a certain spot in the Northwest of Huaxia, a light bright enough to illuminate the entire world suddenly shone as well.

The difference was that this time it was a golden light.

Upon first glance, this golden light seemed only as tiny as a grain of rice.

But in less than a blink of an eye, it crossed mountains and rivers, rapidly spreading across the entire Earth.

The moment the golden light enveloped the Earth, a giant entirely composed of golden light suddenly soared up, standing firm against the heavens!

This wasn’t even the most astonishing part.

The most astounding thing was that as soon as the giant made of golden light appeared, it reached out with a hand as large as a continent, grabbing the power unleashed by the super asteroid’s impact on the island country tightly in its palm, squeezing it until it was utterly extinguished!

People all over the world witnessed this incredible, shocking scene; the eight billion global population was stunned into silence!
