Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 476: Chapter 410: Cyberbullying

Vacuum decay is an extremely terrifying physical phenomenon.

The process of vacuum decay can be understood as a quantum transition, specifically the transition of a quantum from a high energy level to a lower energy level.

On a cosmic scale, this means that the vacuum will transition from a false vacuum to a lower ”vacuum” state.

This transition is accompanied by a catastrophic chain reaction, resetting all known physical constants, forms of matter, and even the laws of nature.

In the new vacuum state, all fundamental particles, atomic structures, and even the structure of space-time in the current cosmos may cease to exist.

Even, it may lead to the creation of new ”laws” in the decayed regions!

At the moment Lu Li noticed the success of his vacuum decay, he immediately released all his energy, trying to reverse this state.

At this moment, an extremely minute ”vacuum bubble” was continuously expanding and spreading.

The terrifying energy blasted in all directions, causing everything in the affected regions to disintegrate into dust.

Lu Li hurriedly wrapped the energy, attempting an energy reverse transition.

However, the energy released by the vacuum decay was truly too frightening.

As soon as his energy touched it, it immediately decayed as well.

It seemed there was simply no time to reverse it!

”Oh crap, could it be that I’ve played too big to handle this?”

Lu Li panicked, quickly controlling all his energy to conduct the most intense siege and blockade on the ”vacuum bubble.”

Fortunately, the ”vacuum bubble” was still extremely small at this moment.

A large amount of manipulated energy converged, instantly bringing the situation under control.

He transitioned the quantum back to a high energy level from a low energy level, stabilizing the structure.

The next moment, something extremely alarming to Lu Li occurred.

When he manipulated the quantum to transition back from a low energy level to a high energy level, those quanta were crazily absorbing his own energy!

This energy absorption was like a whale swallowing sea water.

In an instant, Lu Li felt that one-tenth of his energy was absorbed.

In the next instant, another tenth of the energy he released was absorbed.

Finally, when the reverse energy transition completed and stabilized the structure, the energy absorption consequently stopped.

Although it seemed like a long time, the process actually happened in a flash.

Nonetheless, after reversing the vacuum decay, Lu Li felt as if he was completely exhausted, collapsing to the ground and gasping for air.

In fact, he hadn’t exhausted all his energy.

During that seemingly long period, he had expended only about thirty percent of his energy.

”It was terrifying!”

Even someone as strong as Lu Li had eyes filled with fear at this moment, ”If I had been just a little bit slower, perhaps the reversal would not have been possible. At that time, not only Earth and the cosmos would have been destroyed in the vacuum decay, but even I would have been utterly obliterated in this incomparably terrifying physical phenomenon.”

He had long known that vacuum decay was terrifying, but he hadn’t imagined it to be this frightening.

The energy he stored himself was equivalent to 0.2 suns.

Yet, it took expending thirty percent of his energy to stop a moment of vacuum decay.

If the vacuum decay were to continue for just one second, I’m afraid no one could do anything but accept the reality of cosmic destruction.

”Experiments like this must never be conducted carelessly in the future.”

Lu Li felt a wave of fear, realizing he had been too reckless just now.

Or rather, too confident.

Misjudged the terror of vacuum decay.

After a moment of lingering fear, Lu Li’s expression gradually turned excited and frenzied, ”I finally have mastered a true means of destruction. If one day I’m tired of living, the entire cosmos will have to be buried with me!”

Well, this was just in his thoughts, realistically he couldn’t do this.

Moreover, Lu Li’s excitement and frenzy were not only because he knew he had mastered a true means of a ”Destruction God,” but for an even more important reason.

During the earlier vacuum decay, he discovered an astounding phenomenon.

Lu Li observed ”plasticity” from the ”vacuum bubble.”

It seemed as though if he wanted, he could ”grant” any attributes to that absolute vacuum region.

What does this signify?

It signifies that he can generate any matter within it.

Whether it exists in this universe or not.

As long as he can imagine it, he can directly create it.

Also, Lu Li sensed that he could design any ”rules” within the ”vacuum bubble.”

In short, as long as he wishes, he can entirely create a new world within the ”vacuum bubble.”

And how this newly created world should operate can all be designed by himself.

Indeed, it is world creation.

”This is a means only the ’Creator God’ in mythical legends possesses.”

Lu Li analyzed silently, ”It’s like in the ’Bible’, where God says ’Let there be light’, and there was light; or like Pangu splitting the heavens and earth, with clear air ascending to become the sky, and murky air descending to form the earth.”

He never would have thought that the ’destruction’ of vacuum decay was actually for the sake of ’creation’.

It’s like writing a page of content in your notebook with a pencil.

Vacuum decay is like an eraser, which can erase all content, allowing you to rewrite what you have in mind on the notebook.

At that time, whether you want to create a ’Cultivation World’ or a ’Magic World’, or any other bizarre world, all can truly be achieved.

Furthermore, in the newly created world, he can bestow every creature with a lifespan that is ’as eternal as the heavens’ and powerful abilities that do not exceed the ’rules’ of that cosmos.

In other words, Lu Li possesses the ability to make any creature ’immortal’, provided that he does not perish.

”Unfortunately, it’s only an ability I possess.”

Lu Li couldn’t help but sigh, ”In reality, with my current strength, there’s no way I can accomplish such a feat.”

He clearly understands that to ’create a world’, one must have vast and boundless energy, to stabilize the ’vacuum bubble’ produced by vacuum decay, and then use energy within to ’write’ what one desires.

In fact, even reversing a momentary vacuum decay requires expending thirty percent of his energy.

There’s simply no way to allow vacuum decay to create an immense ’vacuum bubble’ to write within it.

”Actually, if one’s own strength is powerful enough, even a one-millimeter ’vacuum bubble’ could become a cosmos.”

Lu Li shook his head, ”But the pity is, the extent of that strength is beyond my imagination.”

He doesn’t know if he will ever evolve to such a degree.

However, regardless of whether he can achieve it, attempting vacuum decay today is like taking a theoretical class on ’how to become a Creator God’.

Lu Li understood how to destroy a world.

He also understood how to create a world, only the energy is not sufficient.

As he was thinking, the phone in his pocket started ringing.

Lu Li controlled the energy to answer, ”Old Gu, what is it now?”

Gu Wei responded weakly, ”Actually, I didn’t want to make this call, it’s just... it’s just...”

Lu Li actually knew why the other called, he feigned ignorance, ”Haven’t thought it through? Then tell me when you have.”

Gu Wei hurriedly said, ”No, no, I’ve thought it through.”

Lu Li promptly cut him off, ”Even if you’ve thought it through, I’m not interested.”

Gu Wei said with a smile and a sigh, ”Do you know what it’s about?”

Lu Li sneered, ”Not to mention that I can sense the situation around the world, just having a superintelligent AI like Nuwa allows me to monitor the entire world’s dynamics. How could I not know why you’re contacting me? It’s nothing more than the global panic about the impending doomsday leading to chaos and the elites worldwide seeking me to appease the situation. They lack the courage to directly approach me, so they contact your boss, who in turn sends you to be the messenger.”

Gu Wei helplessly replied, ”That is indeed the case, so what do you think?”

Lu Li straightforwardly stated, ”Didn’t I just say? Not interested!”

Gu Wei said with mixed emotions, ”When it comes to just one sentence, why aren’t you willing to step up?”

Lu Li questioned back, ”While it might seem like a simple statement, I suppose you clearly understand what I’d actually have to say to satisfy them. Do you think I can boldly proclaim such words?”

Indeed, he understood that if he merely appeared and said, ”I want to rule the world,” those panic-stricken people, some even rioting out of despair, would certainly calm down.

After all, Lu Li wanting to rule the world signifies he will protect it.

People naturally wouldn’t have to fear a gamma-ray burst extinguishing humanity.

Nor would they be driven to such desperate ’doomsday revelry.’

However, the issue is, Lu Li truly has no intention of ruling the world.

With his current immense power and ability to change anything he wants, why bother engaging in governance?

He has every reason to believe that proclaiming a desire to rule the world could lead to unforeseeable shifts among major powers, and definitely prompt some smaller nations’ citizens to overthrow their leaders and pledge allegiance to him.

Lu Li has no interest in becoming an emperor fretting over his subjects.

He’d rather spend his time ’comprehending the Dao’ and improving himself.

For instance, after communicating with Shen Xia today, he immediately grasped methods of ’world-destruction’ and ’world-creation’ from vacuum decay.

And, without considering any costs, he’s already capable of ’destroying the world.’

Thus, for Lu Li, ruling a tiny planet like Earth simply holds no appeal.

Gu Wei commented, ”I know you’re uninterested in ruling Earth, but if you don’t step forward, the global chaos can spiral out of control.”

Lu Li yawned, ”So what? To put it bluntly, even if doomsday truly arrives, what’s that got to do with me?”

Gu Wei was left speechless and dared not continue to persuade him, ”Alright, I understand. Won’t disturb you further.”

Lu Li, uninterested in further talk, hung up the phone directly.

As he mentioned earlier, as long as family and friends are safe, what does it matter if the world ends?

He simply couldn’t be bothered to care.

Let alone minor chaos.

Unless Lu Li truly desired to rule the world, he wouldn’t concern himself with these matters.

Ironically, while he decided not to intervene, the external situation turned delicate.

Some, driven by utter despair and with nothing left to fear, even began to attempt cyber-attacks on him.
