Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 485: Chapter 416: Death Roll Call

”Huh?”

”Sink an Island Country?”

Dad, Mom, and Liu Kexin were all taken aback.

Previously, when Lu Li said he wanted to do something bad, everyone thought it would be as bad as what he did in Niger last time.

In Dad, Mom, and Liu Kexin’s memories, at that time, Lu Li slaughtered more than thirty-seven thousand people, which was already extremely heinous.

Unexpectedly, the plan Lu Li mentioned was even more staggering!

They had to realize, that the Island Country had a population of 125 million!

In the second stanza of ”The General’s Order: Journey of a Man,” it is written:

Killing one is a crime, slaughtering ten thousand is heroism.

Slaughtering nine million makes one a hero among heroes.

And now, Lu Li says he wants to kill how many people?

More than 100 million!

This makes even the hero among heroes who slaughtered nine million seem like child’s play in comparison.

Dad shivered all over and said, ”Son, isn’t this playing too big?”

Mom kept inhaling sharply and said, ”Although we all hate that Island Country, there are still over one hundred and twenty million lives on the island. Killing so many people is such a sin, isn’t it?”

Liu Kexin couldn’t help but feel a chill in her heart, really not expecting the usually gentle and kind Lu Li to be ruthless to this extent.

Lu Li chuckled helplessly and said, ”I only said I wanted to sink the Island Country, I didn’t say I wanted to kill that many people.”

Dad immediately responded, ”You mean you just want to simply sink the Island Country? Not planning to slaughter its people?”

Mom and Liu Kexin both looked over.

Lu Li nodded slightly and said, ”The reason why these extremists dare to act so boldly is completely because they were incited by a blogger from the Island Country slandering my article on the internet. Without that article, some people might have thought about it but might not have dared to take action. Since it all started because of a blogger from the Island Country, I definitely have to settle this score with them. As the saying goes, ’An eye for an eye,’ although I really don’t like the people from the Island Country, not all of them were involved in the provocation, and I’m not an unreasonable person—I won’t take everyone’s life.”

Mom breathed a sigh of relief and asked, ”So what are you planning to do?”

Lu Li said, ”I will give a warning in advance, letting people from the Island Country leave within a certain time, and then sink the Island Country.”

”That’s better, the sin won’t be as great.” Dad said, seemingly having thought of something, he asked, ”What if someone doesn’t want to leave?”

Lu Li said expressionlessly, ”Then they will perish with the island!”

Dad, Mom, and Liu Kexin all felt a chill in their hearts, sensing the strong killing intent in Lu Li’s words.

To be honest, Lu Li didn’t want to be this ruthless either, but this time the internet storm, assassination attempts on his parents, and the killing of his distant relatives all combined to completely enrage him, which is why he turned so brutal.

This feeling is like being bitten by a mosquito: if you miss hitting it the first time, you won’t chase it down to kill it. But if you’re bitten three or four times in a row, anyone would put down what they’re doing and hunt for the mosquito to kill it.

That’s Lu Li’s current mindset.

Mosquito bites aren’t fatal, but they itch like hell.

As a higher being like a God, how could he allow ”mosquitoes” to repeatedly bite him?

He must fulfill the promise he once made in Niger.

That is, if anyone dares to provoke him again, he will destroy the country they belong to!

Lu Li just doesn’t believe it.

Aren’t you afraid of death?

Then I will destroy a country.

Let’s see if you truly aren’t afraid or if you’re just pretending!

All this fearlessness is only because the fear isn’t deep enough yet.

This time, Lu Li wants to show the world just how terrifying the consequences of angering him can be.

His previous warnings were definitely not just empty talk.

...

Online.

Because various countries censored terms like ”Ancestor” and ”that person,” and even conducted a series of oversight, the online harassment indeed disappeared from the internet days ago.

However, this doesn’t mean that netizens from around the globe have stopped talking about things related to Lu Li.

These netizens are quite clever.

Isn’t the use of terms like ”Ancestor” and ”that person” prohibited, and a direct mention not allowed?

They can create conditions instead.

Things like Judas, Lucifer, are all used as codes for betrayal and demons, and have become synonymous with Lu Li.

Judas betrayed Jesus, and netizens think Lu Li betrayed humanity, so they use it as a code name.

The same logic applies to Lucifer.

The fallen angel defied God’s order, rebelling against God, becoming the ”enemy of the world.”

In their view, isn’t this similar to the ancestor not wanting to save the world?

They even use certain allusions and scriptures to metaphorically relate to the ancestor to avoid detection.

”Judas of Galilee sold Jesus to the Roman Government for thirty pieces of silver. After Jesus was crucified, would Judas kill himself out of remorse?”

”Judas of Galilee committed suicide out of remorse because he still had some conscience. Whether other Judases still have conscience is unknown.”

”The life history of Judas shows the tragic end of a life that could have been commended by God. If Judas had died before entering Jerusalem, later generations would deem him worthy of being among the twelve apostles, remembered by posterity. If he hadn’t revealed his true nature by life’s end, he wouldn’t have left a bad name. Now, his character being exposed to the world serves as a warning to give all who, like him, betray sacred faith a caution.”
