Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Che Huan had not yet recovered her wits when he had already flipped back the covers over her and bent down to kiss her forehead, ”Good night.”

Che Huan’s eyes deepened a shade as she looked at the person close at hand, reached out to hook his neck, blushed as she leaned in, and her red lips pressed against his thin ones, her voice as light as a feather, ”Good night.”

Huo Jinnan stared at Che Huan.

Che Huan’s face turned burning hot, and she grabbed the blanket to cover her face with both hands.

Huo Jinnan looked at her fingers pinching the blanket and covered them with his large hand, gently squeezing before he stood upright, ”I’m leaving now.”

Che Huan mumbled a vague ”Hmm,” and soon after hearing the door close, she lifted the blanket, finding the room completely dark.

Looking in the direction of the door for quite a while, she gently rubbed her cheeks.

...

The next day, the little guy woke up, and upon opening his eyes and seeing the familiar room, he furrowed his brows tightly!

Huo Jinnan must have taken advantage of him sleeping to monopolize Huanhuan!

With a gurgle, he flipped off the bed, stared at his tousled hair, put on his slippers, and quickly went to Huo Jinnan’s room across the way, tiptoed, and knocked vigorously on the door.

Che Huan opened the door, saw the little guy, bent down to kiss his forehead, ”Good morning, baby.”

The little guy was in a bad mood at first, but a morning kiss instantly sweetened his mood, and he moved up to kiss Che Huan’s cheek, his soft, cute voice chiming, ”Huanhuan, good morning.”

Che Huan looked at the little one, who hadn’t washed up yet, ”Shall we go wash our faces together?”

The little guy nodded, and not seeing Huo Jinnan in the room, he pursed his small mouth, ”Daddy hasn’t come back yet?”

Che Huan hummed a response, ”He took us home and then went to the hospital to take care of Grandma.”

Is that so?

Upon hearing this, the little guy felt quite comfortable and looked up at Che Huan, ”Huanhuan, will you live here forever from now on?”

Che Huan hesitated for a moment, thought of the upcoming marriage, and nodded with her ears turning slightly red.

The little guy heard this and was very happy, gripping Che Huan’s hand without letting go, even while brushing teeth, not releasing it, brushing while watching Che Huan, the thought of seeing Huanhuan every morning in the future making him feel wonderful.

After washing up, when they got downstairs, Mrs. Rong had already prepared breakfast, with Huo Jinxue and Huo Jinbei waiting in the dining room.

Che Huan glanced at the dining room clock, which showed it was already past nine, feeling a bit embarrassed, ”It seems I got up a bit late.”

The little guy pursed his lips, ”It’s okay, it’s not that Huanhuan got up late, it’s Auntie and Uncle who got up too early.”

”...”

Huo Jinbei and Huo Jinxue looked at the little guy and were completely speechless, such favoritism!

Che Huan turned to Mrs. Rong, ”Xiaowei and I won’t eat here, Mrs. Rong, can you pack up some breakfast, I’ll take it to the hospital.”

The little guy pursed his lips, counted, ”Mrs. Rong, three portions please, for Huo Jinnan, Grandma, and Grandma.”

Grandma?

Mrs. Rong was somewhat taken aback.

The little guy had no intention of explaining, standing there, the thought of soon having a mom and a grandma filled him with pride from head to toe.

Huo Jinbei kindly reminded from the side, ”My second sister-in-law’s mother is also staying at Muhe Hospital.”

Mrs. Rong looked at Che Huan, this ’second sister-in-law’ Mr. Third is addressing is Miss Che, right?

Haven’t seen Miss Che come around for a long time, she had assumed —

But then, not many months had passed, and Mr. Third had started calling her ’second sister-in-law.’ That meant Miss Che would be the lady of the house here in the future.

She glanced at Uncle Lu, who seemed much more composed, clearly he knew more than she did.

The little guy spoke up like a little adult, ”Why are you still standing there? Hurry up and get moving.”
