Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Zhong Qin smiled and nodded, ”Let’s go downstairs together to see your mother, we can have breakfast there too.”

Che Huan thought of Huo Jinnan, afraid he would come back soon and find no breakfast, she tried calling him but he was already on a call.

She sent a message, and just as she and Zhong Qin left the hospital room, they saw Huo Jinnan standing at the end of the corridor with his back to them, pinching a cigarette in one hand and holding a cellphone in the other, with the cold-looking Huo Bei standing by his side.

Che Huan couldn’t help but take another glance. It couldn’t be because of her and him, could it?

Seeing the situation, Zhong Qin said, ”Huanhuan, why don’t we go down first and you can wait here for Anan?”

Che Huan nodded, turning to the little guy, ”Then you go downstairs with Grandma first.”

The little guy frowned unhappily. This Huo Jinnan, really, such a boring person, he didn’t understand how he managed to make Huanhuan like him!

He squeezed Che Huan’s hand, ”Alright then, you come down soon.”

Che Huan nodded, and after seeing Zhong Qin and the little guy enter the elevator, she glanced towards the end of the corridor and slowly walked over, standing at a distance not too close but not too far, waiting for him.

Huo Bei saw Che Huan, leaned close to Huo Jinnan, and whispered something.

Huo Jinnan took a drag on his cigarette, turned around to lean on the railing, while smoking and talking on the phone, his dark eyes wandering over Che Huan’s face.

That gaze, deep enough to pierce the bone!

With Huo Bei there, being looked at in such a way, Che Huan’s face reddened slightly, she wanted to leave but couldn’t move her feet, so she just lowered her head.

Huo Jinnan put out his cigarette, muttered softly, ”That’s it.”

After he hung up the phone, he looked towards Huo Bei, ”Go handle it.”

Huo Bei responded and quickly left.

Huo Jinnan stood there for a while, watching Che Huan, and then step by step, he walked towards her.

Seeing the man’s straight and slender legs, before Che Huan could lift her head, her hand was already tightly grasped by the man’s warm and rough palm.

She raised her head to look at Huo Jinnan, ”What happened again?”

”Dad, Huanhuan!”

Upon hearing the little guy’s voice, she opened her eyes and gently pushed Huo Jinnan.

Moving aside, she turned back to look at the little guy ”thump thumping” his way from the staircase entrance.

The little guy frowned at Huo Jinnan who was standing there, not sure what he was doing; luckily, he had arrived just in time!

Running to Che Huan’s side, he took her hand, and the little guy looked up at Che Huan, pursing his lips, ”Huanhuan, let’s go.”

Huo Jinnan looked down at the little guy for a moment, then walked ahead.

Che Huan followed, leading the little guy behind him.

When they arrived at Wen Ru’s hospital room, the little guy saw Che Huan sitting beside Grandma and quickly put his bottom down by her side, seating himself next to Che Huan and isolating Huo Jinnan on the other side.
