Chapter 1549: Chapter 41: Happiness (Part 2)

Seeing that they were about to take control of the entire Xiushui River Town, they didn’t even have time to pull their troops out of the ruins-like city!

They could only abandon the attack on the East District of Xiushui River Town and rely on the heavily damaged outer defenses of the city to resist the attack from behind.

Fatty thought that war was like a suspenseful novel.

When breaking through the Chuckna garrison line, the arrogant and spirited Western Alliance Soldiers probably didn’t expect that soon after, they would be doing the same work at the same place as the enemies they had attacked.

If they had known, they wouldn’t have done more damage to this defense line. They would have protected it like they cherished their own asshole.

”Fatty,” came Bonnie’s voice angrily over the communication channel, ”Are you rushing ahead again?”

Fatty foolishly turned off the communication channel.

Since Frenso, he had been confined in the Command Mecha, feeling like a pig being raised.

It’s simply intolerable!

Fatty never had big ambitions, nor did he think those so-called Great Generals, sitting with coffee in front of SkyNet pretending to be something special.

He hated war, and was naturally timid. However, he disliked the cold-hearted analysis of statistics representing lives, calculating inhumanely the sacrifice for victory even more.

Rather than that, he would rather drive a Mecha, fighting on the front line alongside thousands upon thousands of young people who came out from the Leray District just like him.

He never denied that he was a small citizen and was even proud of it.

In his view, to overturn this war as a small citizen, defeating those so-called Great Generals one by one, shoving their war complex and military talent up their own assholes, was the most resounding slap for the countless innocent civilians left homeless by the war!

This time, the target was not only the twenty Western Alliance Armored Divisions of Sunset Mountain but also Bellif!

”Fatty,” the voice of Wagstaff came over the regional communication channel: ”The Command Mecha is coming up.”

Fatty turned his head and was immediately startled.

Several Command Mechas, under the escort of the Guard Battalion, passed through the charging ranks and rushed towards the mountain top. Even through the Mecha’s shell, he could imagine Bonnie’s stern face looking at him.

”It’s our turn to go on stage!”

Fatty leapt up, taking the lead to jump off the mountain top.

Behind him, five hundred War God members of the Special Forces Camp burst into a mocking laughter. Amidst the laughter, a high-pitched bugle call for a charge rang out from the mountain top.

The soldiers marching in formation below looked up in surprise. They were already familiar with this bugle call. It was the bugle call for a charge by the Leray Federation Army, and when it sounded here, it represented the attack of the Bandit Army Special Armored Battalion.

In their sight, five hundred Black Mechas closely followed the ragged Mecha ahead of them, pouring down from the mountain like a black mudslide.

The soil, rocks, and trees swiftly passed by these speeding Black Mechas, as the sky seemed to be dimmed by the descending black cloud.

They plummeted at nearly free-fall speed, occasionally stepping on the steep cliffs to change direction. Hundreds of Mechas bounced up and down on the cliffs, the whooshing sound like a Typhoon sweeping through a desolate valley. The scene was spectacular.

The warriors below held their breath.

In an instant, this black torrent leaped down the mountain, with the first row of Mechas touching the ground with a single leg, shooting out, followed closely by the second row, then the third, and fourth....

This was not Mechas, this was a hundred tigers coming down the mountain!

Their rapidly advancing figures were too fast to even see clearly. The whirlwind they stirred up blew sand and stones as they broke through the sky.

When they leapt from the mountain top, they seemed chaotic, but as they transitioned from falling to forward shooting, a neat Triangle Attack Formation instantly formed!

Blood surged to the heads of the Fei Alliance Soldiers.

They stared dumbfounded at these Black Mechas, as if seeing an unparalleled divine sword that could cut hair and slice iron like mud, unsheathe and sweep across armies!

Suddenly, a thunderous shout erupted on the battlefield.

This sound first arose from the troops close to the mountain top, then swiftly relayed like a baton towards the northern Xiushui River Town.

Soon, this sound caught up with the speeding Black Mecha group, accompanying them as they charged towards the Suss people’s positions.

Along the way, numerous Fei Alliance Soldiers who saw the Bandit Army Special Forces Camp joined the shouting without restraint. The sound grew faster and higher with the charge of the five hundred and one rampaging, and finally, when the first one crashed into the Suss Defense Line, it transformed into a thunder that resounded through heaven and earth.

”Kill!!!”

Fatty delivered a straight punch, like a cannonball out of a chamber, blasting into the chest of a front Suss [Madman] Mecha. The thick right arm directly pierced through the hull, protruding from the back of the Madman.

The pierced Suss Mecha, like a paper doll, hung on Logic’s right arm, flying backward as Logic sped forward.

With a loud bang, Fatty shook his arm, flinging the Madman away.

As the nearly twenty-ton Madman smashed into another Suss Mecha, Fatty had already made a ghostly movement, flashing in front of a Jiepeng [Evil Dragon] Heavy Mecha.
