Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1501: Chapter 25: Blitz (8)_4

”And once Bellif is prepared in advance,” Leefer’s lips curled, ”even if the bandit army can rely on their combat skills to escape, the Resk Main Army will be finished!”

”So what you’re saying is,” Barbara sighed in relief, a slight smile of delight appearing at the corner of her mouth, ”Leifeng Star might be heading for a disastrous defeat?”

”A war is not a game that a mechanic soldier who hasn’t even attended the Military Academy can master.” Leefer stood with his hands behind his back, ”If he’s aiming for a tactical encirclement, he will lose miserably.”

”I don’t understand the matters on the battlefield,” Barbara said charmingly, pulling Leefer’s hand, ”but if Leifeng Star is indeed heading towards a disastrous defeat, it just happens to provide our plan with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Let’s go; our future President is still patiently waiting in the room for us.”

Leefer affectionately patted Barbara’s head. On his face, akin to an eternally frozen iceberg, appeared a warm smile that was rarely seen by others.

Hand in hand, they walked towards the glass door on the second floor of the villa.

Inside the luxurious living room, a middle-aged man was sitting obediently on the sofa, with only his occasional glances towards the pool terrace revealing his nervousness.

As the automatic glass door opened, the middle-aged man stood up, and at that moment when a humble smile appeared on his face, Leefer suddenly stopped.

Barbara, holding his arm, turned back in surprise.

”Something’s wrong!” Leefer’s face suddenly turned deathly pale.

”What’s the matter?” Barbara and the middle-aged man exchanged a glance, both somewhat surprised. They had never seen Leefer appear so close to losing his cool.

”That cunning Leray person,” Leefer’s voice emerged as if through gritted teeth, ”he never intended to continue relying on the defense system of the Phoenix City western line.”

”You mean...” Barbara’s expression changed as well.

Before this, she had felt something was amiss, and now, hearing her brother’s words, a sudden flash of insight struck her mind.

”We underestimated him.” Leefer thought through the entire battle situation anew and suddenly realized Fatty’s intentions.

He clenched his fist, his face hardened: ”Our previous analyses were all premised on the assumption that the Leifeng Star Army would defend the Phoenix City western line. But that guy never intended to defend a useless front line. For him, the fortified positions along the front line are nothing more than a seemingly strong graveyard!”

He quickly walked to the computer in the living room, activated the virtual screen, and pulled up a map of Phoenix City on Leifeng Star. From start to finish, he hadn’t bothered to look at the waiting middle-aged man.

”From Frenso Town to Sunset Mountain, Six Major Battlezones, the Resk Main Army on the front line has a total of over twelve divisions of strength!”

Leefer waved his hand across the screen.

An attack arrow growing thicker launched straight toward Sunset Mountain.

When, beyond Sunset Mountain, the reserve of nearly twenty divisions under Chen Fengxi joined this arrow, the entire battlefield situation map instantly underwent a tremendous change under this audacious and reckless tactic.

Without needing calculations or deductions, Leefer and Barbara could see that Bellif definitely could not withstand this suddenly emerging storm.

The reason is simple. To maintain pressure on the Fei Alliance’s front line, Bellif’s Northern Cluster had dispersed many units across the lengthy front line, attacking continuously day and night.

And now, that cunning Fatty doesn’t want a front line at all!

He will seize Sunset Mountain, beating Bellif to the punch, gathering all the Fei Alliance’s forces from along the Six Major Battlezones, destroying the Western Alliance’s main forces on Sunset Mountain, and swiftly sweeping this storm across the entire front line.

Attack against attack.

Fatty has opened a gaping mouth!
