Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1509: Chapter 28: Blitz (11)_2

In other words, whether they agree or not, the confrontation between the two sides is already destined.

The only difference is just time and method.

Turning to gaze at the leisurely Judger Mechas in front of the positions, the Fei Alliance Soldiers couldn’t help but clench their fists.

They had long heard about the strength of these steel Spartan Warriors. ℴℴ𝘮

Even when the entire Special Forces Camp of the bandit army launches an attack, five Judger squads infiltrated the defense line, slaughtering wantonly, and still managed to retreat completely under the siege of three Armored Divisions filled with elites, proving their strength.

Now, they stand less than a kilometer in front of the positions, uncovering the wound in the hearts of the Fei Alliance Soldiers, as a provocation.

Fight, they defeat the bandit army, the morale on position 152 will drop dramatically; if they don’t fight, the War Fire hasn’t even ignited yet, they’ve already lost a round, with warriors’ morale low and the Su Jie Armored Division’s ruthless confidence infinitely aroused when they leave laughing wildly.

A seemingly playful challenge has truly pushed the bandit army to a dead end.

Under everyone’s gaze, the bandit army mecha pilots still crossed their arms, looking coldly.

After a long while, as the impatient leader mech knight’s mecha speaker sounded and was about to speak, Stiller finally stepped forward and rudely interrupted.

”Idiot, one-on-one?”

The position erupted in laughter.

In the Western Alliance, all major Empires are more particular about etiquette and demeanor than the Federation’s Democracy. The complexity and variety of those empty formalities are astonishing. Not to mention the nobles who emphasize identity and demeanor, even the common people are deeply influenced.

Facing the enemy, as the aristocratic leader mech knight rubbed salt into the wound, his tone arrogant and scornful, was already considered rude, yet Stiller had already learned the full extent of lack of demeanor from Fatty and opened his mouth to curse.

Thirty Judgers, under the halo of the most advanced mechas of this era, walked slowly onward, facing countless energy cannon fire control radar lock-in circles calmly and leisurely challenged, oh how graceful they were. Yet this word ’idiot’ poured over them like a head to toe shower of foul play.

Even the most admirable poise and grace became a joke.

”Thirty against thirty!” The leader mech knight was silent for a moment, then said grimly, ”No rest until death!”

”Was it you guys who slaughtered the field hospital?” Stiller asked coldly.

The leader mech knight sneered, waved his hand. The twenty-nine Judgers behind him suddenly dispersed, each brandished an energy light saber and light shield, legs slightly bent, bodies leaned forward a bit, taking a fighting stance.

”I said, I’d give you all a chance for revenge!”

Silence fell, with only this voice remaining as the sound swayed the treetops on the high hill and broad plains.

An icy murderous aura, with the deployment of the Judgers formation, flooded in all directions. Making people feel chillingly cold, unable to breathe.

Looking at the poised Judgers about to burst forth, Langman took a deep breath, casting his eyes to Reinhardt standing at the forefront of the position.

Heartbeats, growing faster with the tense atmosphere.

At this moment, Langman had no doubt Reinhardt could break through position 152 in one fell swoop!

Whatever is happening at the other positions, he no longer cares. Even if the Fei Alliance Joint Army temporarily gains some advantage, and even if a forcible attack would come at a great cost, he is confident that at position 152, he will recoup it all!

Reinhardt is a typical Imperial Noble. Beneath the polite and graceful exterior hides a heart as hard as steel.

He is composed and calm, with meticulous planning and deployment. Such a man, as long as he’s standing on the battlefield, will never give the enemy any chance. Everything is under his control, disadvantage is overturned by him, and advantage is exploited to its fullest.

This is an unsolvable situation.

Thirty invincible Judgers, use this method at the start of the battle, step by step pushing the high-spirited Fei Alliance Joint Army to the cliff, also freeing the uneasy Su Jie Alliance Army from their fret. Calming their breaths and with the black alpha wolf closing in on the prey igniting violence within their bones.

The gradually heavy breathing and reddened eyes of the strategists at Langman’s side is proof.

Langman meticulously studied the battle footage of these bandit army Green Mechas.

To be honest, when he first saw the footage preserved through countless hardships in the front, it was like being struck with an iron hammer, dizzy and dazed.

The combat capability of these Green Mechas from the bandit army completely exceeded his expectations. The figures on screen seem like gods of slaughter, with a strength disparity so great with his special soldiers that he couldn’t even conceive a thought of victory.

However, all worries vanished after Reinhardt watched the footage and coldly smiled.

In terms of individual combat capability, although bandit army mecha pilots are surprising, they are absolutely not opponents for the Judgers. Whether it’s from hand speed or mecha performance, all the Green Mechas can do is resist longer than ordinary Mechanical Warriors.

Against ordinary mechas, perhaps they are a group of death gods.

But before the Judgers, they are just a group of dead men.

Rush forth in one go, weaken in the second, exhaust in the third.

Deeply understanding the art of war, Reinhardt didn’t choose direct assault.

The Judgers in his hand, although powerful, cannot ensure that they will break through the bandit army’s Green Mecha interception in a single assault. If the first two attacks fail and retreat, the already uneasy troops may experience bigger instability.

If at this time the Fei Alliance Joint Army utilizes intelligence advantage to create panic and chaos elsewhere, perhaps the forcible total attack will end without fruition. Both sides would again be stuck in a stalemate.

Out of pride, and due to the above considerations, Reinhardt chose this approach.

He used a single challenge to dissolve all disadvantages.

The Judgers can win, undoubtedly. Regardless of whether the bandit army fights or not, the psychological advantage accumulated through special operations will be entirely dissolved.

Thirty Judgers have already shown their fangs and claws.

Waiting for the prey to bite the hook!

”Good!”

Stiller’s voice rang out atop the high position, spreading in all directions.

”Since you’re giving us the chance for revenge, then let’s not be polite!”

Langman’s lips curled with a touch of smile.

However, as soon as the smile started to broaden, it froze at the corner of his mouth.

On the virtual screen, overwhelming firepower explosively erupted. The sky was completely engulfed by the piercing howl akin to a train entering a tunnel. Multicolored energy light bombs and countless missiles painted an apocalyptic scene.

Position 152 actually concealed such powerful firepower, and they initiated the attack first!

Although the Su Jie Alliance Army quickly launched counterattacks with already prepared self-propelled artillery and missiles, they couldn’t prevent the enemy from directing the manic bombardment at predetermined coordinates!

The artillery fire rolled among the Su Jie Alliance Army’s armored clusters.

And in front of the positions, the area where thirty Judgers stood had become a sea of constantly blooming light and fire.

Explosive flashes shot outward in all directions, flames surged skyward. Dense black smoke instantly shrouded the entire area.

In this intense attack, the thirty Judgers maneuver. Relying on ultra-fast speed, they dodged direct hits from the artillery fire, dispersing outward.

Although the artillery fire was fierce, and the enemy’s ambush intentional, if it’s just this level of attack, clearly it cannot cause them losses.

But before Langman could even feel relief, with a loud roar, hundreds of Green Mechas, like leopards, charged down from the hill.

When the thirty Judgers, just escaped from artillery fire coverage, like dispersed little rafts in a tide of Green steel were engulfed, Langman closed his eyes.

The muscles on his face trembled with indescribable humiliation and anger.

He knew that the thirty Judgers, in absolute disadvantageous numbers and formation, were already food in the mouths of hundreds of Green Mechas.

He also knew Reinhardt’s plot was destroyed by the enemy in the most direct and shameless way.

At the same time, he heard amidst the artillery fire, the resonant voice on the positions.

”Idiot!”
