Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1507: Chapter 9-27: Blitzkrieg (10)_3

For the bandit army, the remaining three of the six war zones are the true test.

The Jiepeng 25th Army Group has eight divisions, definitely not ones that can be easily consumed like the previous few war zones. Any carelessness could lead the battle to a stalemate.

This level of battle can already be considered a small-scale campaign. Typically, such a fight lasting two or three months or even a year is not unusual.

However, the bandit army doesn’t have that luxury; they must complete a breakthrough within five hours, swiftly divide and annihilate the enemy. If they cannot annihilate, they must at least rout them to ensure the main force has an unobstructed path forward.

Following them is the Suss 21st Army Group; although smaller in number, it is Suss’s Level 1 Forces with strong combat power.

More importantly, everyone understands that through the fights in the first three war zones, the bandit army is no longer a hidden force.

Even with electronic information control, Fatty has sent all bandit army’s special soldiers out to obscure battlefield information, but it’s hard to ensure that one or two haven’t slipped through.

Even if the bandit army’s lightning offensive is quick, once they launch an attack on the three divisions of the Jiepeng 25th Army Group in the 4th War Zone, within half an hour the other five armored divisions in the 5th Combat Zone will react and rapidly enter the fight.

Once the 5th Combat Zone moves, it’s impossible for the Suss 21st Army Group in the 6th War Zone to remain unaware of the commotion here.

This battle is a tough one.

************************************************************

The atmosphere inside the Fei Alliance Command Center was stiflingly tense.

As the staff strategists busily went about their tasks, they occasionally glanced at the large screen on the central console.

The huge screen displayed two maps side by side, each occupying half the space, both tugging at everyone’s nerves.

The left screen showed the bandit army’s battle situation map.

From Frenso Town to Charloks Mountain, the defense line in several battle zones was deserted. All forces had gathered into that giant red arrow now advancing toward the Sunset Mountain Battle Zone.

This battle showcased the bandit army’s might.

The bandit army’s First Armored Division and Second Armored Division advanced side by side. Whether at Saint John Town, Beiqi Mountain, or Billy Town, the caught-off-guard Su Jie Alliance Army offered no resistance against their assault.

These two divisions marched forward like shells launched from a cannon, following a straight path. This aggressive tactic embodies the essence of lightning warfare.

Breaking through again and again, leaving the flanks, rear, and encirclement to other allied forces, they focused solely on destroying enemy defenses and dispersing gathered enemies.

Thousands of Fatty Mechas repeatedly pierced the defense line, repeatedly passing through enemy bases and armored clusters, sweeping across the battlefield with a roaring charge.

In just eight hours, the bandit army had reached the 4th War Zone.

The right screen displayed the current Sunset Mountain situation map.

If the bandit army’s rampage gave everyone a sense of exhilarating satisfaction, then the Sunset Mountain battle made everyone’s nerves taut!

Messages from the frontline have reported that the Su Jie Alliance Army abandoned controlling the battlefield and instead forcibly launched an all-out attack.

Currently, four armored divisions have gathered at the sortie base before the 152 position, the focal point of Su Jie Alliance Army’s determined attack. In addition, at their sortie base, two Judger Mechas are undergoing pre-battle preparations.

They have even recalled the five Judger squads that had penetrated behind enemy lines.

This clearly shows the Fei Alliance Joint Army that they do not care about controlling battlefield information and are not afraid of early-stage attacks from Fei Alliance forces.

From all directions, they will head in one.

They are determined to strongly assault the 152 position and decisively break through Sunset Mountain!

As the main force resisting the Judgers, Stiller-led bandit army’s First Armored Division’s Special Forces Camp had all withdrawn.

Whether they can fend off the Judgers’ attack, whether they can fulfill this incredibly audacious plan, will be determined in the next dozen hours.

To everyone in the command center, every minute and second was torture.

Margaret, Chen Fengxi, Pierre, along with the leaders of the bandit army and Resk Main Army, all gathered on the command platform, tensely watching the big screen.

More than twenty minutes ago, the Su Jie Alliance Army had already launched a full-scale attack on Sunset Mountain.

Due to their information advantage, several counterattacks from the frontline had become highly successful. Currently, the Fei Alliance’s defense line has expanded to the base of Sunset Mountain. They conducted ambushes, maneuvers, flanking operations, directly into Su Jie Alliance Army’s control area to fight, greatly reducing pressure on the defense line.

However, everyone knew that the Su Jie Alliance Army’s attacks on other defense lines were merely distraction, their true trump card laid beneath the 152 position with the 200 Judgers.

And now, the Judgers on the screen were ready to launch.

In the dense forest, waves appeared. With the engine roar, more and more mechas appeared on the flat ground less than five kilometers from the 152 position.

At the forefront of the Su Jie Mecha cluster, two hundred black Judgers moved slowly.

Their movements were leisurely and composed, resembling a stroll through a garden.

”Two hundred Judgers,” Chen Fengxi chuckled, ”They think quite highly of us.”

”Indeed, it’s three hundred,” Pierre corrected Chen Fengxi with a cold smile, ”another hundred lies in Frenso Town.”

After speaking, the two partners exchanged glances, secretly relieved.

Ten Judgers could dominate a sweeping counterattack in the Ryan Battlefield; without the bandit army, these three hundred Judgers could support any of Bellif’s strategic intentions. The Fei Alliance forces on the west line of Phoenix City would be nothing but fish on a cutting board.

As they spoke, the Su Jie armored forces stopped. A dense assembly of steel behemoths formed into attack clusters, resembling long dragons extending into the distance.

”What are they planning?”

Seeing thirty Judgers detach from the main force, headed to the forward position, Pierre frowned.

”The Suss people’s special forces suffered a crushing defeat, but they haven’t lost yet.”

Margaret’s cool voice echoed beside them.

”Are you saying...” Pierre was surprised.

”With the pride of the Judgers, how could they possibly suffer the disgrace of special operations failure and rely on quantity to overwhelm our defense line?”

Margaret viewed the bandit army’s special soldiers at the 152 position with concern: ”Now, this is their response to Stiller’s challenge.”

Not quite in shape recently, hoping to recover soon.
