Beneath the Red Dragon

”Are you learning my craft?”

The fury on the face of the Legendary Demon had long dissipated, replaced by a look of confusion and surprise on his sheep demon-like face.

The entire body was enveloped in a purple flame filled with destructive and restless vitality, resembling a Demon King in the Demon Realm covering the world like a dark sky.

”I have never seen a Giant Dragon like you, even the countless Dragons that have perished by my hand were nothing like you, and you do not bear the aura of divine favor. Can a Dragon in the Mortal World achieve such feats!”

It wasn’t until this moment that the serious Legendary Demon noticed some traits of the Ancestral Red Dragon before him. The nascent Imperial Stronghold Domain had not been an innate skill of this Giant Dragon.

Instead, it was quickly constructed by observing his Demon Realm, in a manner that even the Legendary Demon found hard to believe.

Although this newborn domain was extremely crude and could only maintain a range of several hundred meters around that Red Dragon, rejecting all abyssal aura and the deep night sky.

As long as Sakres was willing to apply more power to suppress it, he could even use the evil fire of the Abyss to burn through this embryonic domain.

But as time was counted by the minute and second, the realm of this Red Dragon was gradually maturing, like building blocks stacked from the foundation upwards at a rapid pace.

Karon was breathing deeply, with pale Dragon Flames emerging on the huge body, coursing along the scales with each deep breath, the two hearts of the Ancestral Red Dragon pounding like heavy drums.

Being in the empire it created, the Giant Dragon could gain immense reinforcement. Just like a long-inhabited nest, the entire empire had vaguely become an oversized nest domain of the Dragon.

With a solid foundation, combined with this Legendary Demon’s example, along with the supreme computational power of the evolved Ancestral Red Dragon, coalescing into an Imperial Stronghold Domain, it was not surprising to Karon.

This is his accumulation, and his wisdom.

A deep, resonant Dragon Language sounded, and Karon laughed, ”If all the greatness in the world relies on divine endowment, wouldn’t that be too pathetic?”

”Simply relying on external force, how can you ascend to the true pinnacle, the true miracle is created by the mundane.”

”Just like you, if you simply rely on your bloodline to ascend to legend, how would you have such powerful means.”

Sakres curled his lips, revealing coarse and sharp teeth, quite agreeing with what the Red Dragon said.

”This is close to blasphemy. I think maybe you can come to my plane and become a lord under my command, Red Dragon, your strength is impressive.”

”It was only after my second life, in this body, that I achieved such accomplishments,” Sakres said,

”When I shed those bloodthirsty chaotic low-level thoughts, I realized the terrifying nature of true knowledge, and after leaping into legend, I gained the opportunity to acquire Legendary Celestial Destiny,”

”This is precisely the means by which those weak and mundane things can rely on to contend with us naturally powerful beings, and we demons and dragons, after attaining the same knowledge as those weak ones, how powerful we could be.”

”This is the reason why weak races can survive, develop, and thrive in this world,” Karon gazed at the massive body of the Legendary Great Demon, whose overwhelming blood energy had already begun to make numerous demonic souls around him manifest in a form almost akin to a new body.

”But I, who control the entire empire, possess power and knowledge that you cannot offer,” Karon said indifferently.

The fluctuating Magic Runes on the dragon’s body changed with each breath, as if spontaneously searching for an opportunity to break the Legendary Demon.

What the Legendary Demon spoke of, regarding the legendary Celestial Destiny, was nothing new in the knowledge base of the Ancestral Red Dragon, who had received the orthodox inheritance.

Based on a constructed cognitive system and using the relevant powers mastered as cornerstones, after ascending to legend, one’s life and strength would also undergo a legendary metamorphosis.

It is only by constructing one’s own consistent and relatively complete system, and using enough power as pillars to support the system, that one can achieve a more powerful transformation, possessing a power akin to the laws of Celestial Destiny, that is the Law of Legendary Celestial Destiny.

Mundane beings achieving such power can already contend with dragons and demons, who rely on bloodline power to stand at the world’s apex, even defeating these formidable races.

If beings such as dragons and demons also obtained the same power, they would inevitably be exponentially stronger.

This is why Karon has always been conserving his strength, waiting for the Imperial Legion to seal the plane passage to the Abyss Plane, cutting off the power source of this Great Demon.

Even the strong domain of this empire is merely directed by Karon’s authority, not excessively consuming his spirit. The spiritual power from nearly a million citizens of the empire serves as the main source of power constructing this strong domain.

If the passage of the plane is not cut off, the legendary demon, supported by the Abyss Plane, can effortlessly obtain endless, nearly inexhaustible power.

Thus, he would not refuse to delay time.

But Sakres, the legendary demon, ceased to speak further, his demon realm covering hundreds of miles, transforming the space into a dark sky.

The Divine Calamity Sword in his hand seemed to have absorbed all the Abyssal Death Qi, and one evil eye after another became lifeless.

Countless howling demon souls were absorbed by this sword in an instant, carrying the power to break all order, rushing towards the Red Dragon.

Even utilizing the strong domain to expand the space for several hundred meters, Karon could not escape the lock of this Legendary Demon.

Faced with such a powerful opponent exerting his full strength, Karon could no longer hold back.

Karon pressed his claws against the ground, as a dragon, a sovereign of the sky, on the earth, he was also a Sovereign.

The claws of the Ancestral Red Dragon exerted slight force upon the ground, causing waves of air to rise from where he stood, surging in all directions, layers of earth walls rising to block the path of the attacking Legendary Demon.

The War Stomp ability that warriors need long practice to master, was but a breezy strike under the Mighty Power of the Ancestral Red Dragon.

And Karon, facing the approaching Legendary Demon, let out a deep roar, the ancient, heavily rippling Dragon Roar, as if carrying the power and echoes of ancient Witchcraft, elevating his momentum unprecedentedly.

It was as if the shackles sealed upon his body were released, his Innate Power gradually erupting under the increasingly boiling Dragon Blood.

Furious winds swept the land, a large amount of earth and stones were hurled into the air, pale flames turned into a swirling fiery storm, circling around Karon’s mighty body.

An even fiercer Flame Hell descended in an instant, incinerating all the Abyssal Death Qi and powers not belonging to the flame, leaving not even ashes, directly vaporizing.

This was the Ancestral Red Dragon’s natural power to suppress and protect itself, an area where all things must be reduced to ashes.

In the blazing pale flames, the scales on Karon’s chest and neck suddenly shone brightly.

From the chest to the throat, the scales were lit up one after another, like lightning flashing, intertwining into a pattern of flames.

As Karon opened his jaws, a dazzling blazing flame erupted from his throat, blasting towards the Great Demon tearing through the earthen walls and airwaves.

What a terrifying strike this was!

Even separated by the entire strait, far under the fortress several dozens of miles away, the Legion and the Dragon-Wolf Species affected by the outer edge of the demon realm could feel the incredibly terrifying heat.

The Demon Dragon, which wielded the power of flame in the sky, also howled mournfully, the unbearable heat causing their skin to become scorching.

The seawater near the realm of the Ancestral Giant Dragon suddenly started bubbling enormously, The Sea boiling as well.
