Beneath the Red Dragon

”This place was once destroyed,”

At the front end of the floating island, which collided with the void and world barriers, the roots of the World Tree Ovogen began to gradually reveal within thin spatial ripples. Several True Dragons with wings and claws spread high, gazed down at this desolate land.

Beside the colossal form of the Ancestral Red Dragon, various Giant Dragon Lords lined up, ferocious and fierce, waves of violent aura surged skyward, gradually descending upon the world of ice and fire.

Behind these dragons were the Imperial Legion Warriors of the Golden Empire, brimming with a vigorous aura, along with the solemnly waiting Caster Corps. The Dragon Banner waving, the native Legion of the Golden Empire, began to descend into this world.

Beside the lines of legion warrior formations, several small starships were arranged on the open grounds of the floating island.

Five hundred Fremen Warriors, clad in battle attire under Stilgar’s lead, observed the appearance of this newly arrived world through projections made by the mages. A Gold Lion war banner embroidered with the eye of a dragon was fluttering amidst their legion.

With the covert support of the Golden Empire, Paul Atreides, the Messiah Warrior of the Ancestral Red Dragon, swept over the opposing forces on Dune Planet in just half a month, occupying the entire planet.

After establishing the cross-dimensional Super-Space-Time Beacon, the Ancestral Red Dragon and the Dragon Lords rode the floating island, leaving that universe along the golden passage.

Yet fervent Fremans, believing in the Ancestral Red Dragon and the Dragon Group, emerged many intensely passionate warriors, eager to follow their revered master onto campaigns and journeys through other worlds.

However, the war in the Cosmos had only just begun, and Karon temporarily didn’t need the strength of these Fremans.

Only with Paul Atreides’ suggestion did Karon agree to select 500 warriors from the millions of Fremen warriors, as the Emperor’s Near Guard, the warriors beneath the divine throne, to follow on a new journey.

These Fremans are the Golden Lion Corps of the Dragon Emperor, known as Saint Fremantle Warriors.

”I feel an extremely dense power of radiation exists in this place, perhaps this place once suffered attacks akin to atom weapons in the Dune Cosmos,”

The slit pupils of Green Dragon Antajena flickered with Spiritual Light. With the intake of spice, these dragons not only grew smarter but also evolved a unique demeanor through worldly experience, distinguishing them completely from dragons nestled in their lairs.

Though the Dragon Inheritance includes much knowledge beyond native worlds, nothing compares to firsthand experience capable of transforming creatures.

White Dragon Gomot nodded its massive, sinister head, scanning the world destined to submit beneath the Dragon Claw.

Every area within sight was shrouded in semi-permanent darkness, even at the sunniest days of this summer, the sun overhead got shadowed by ashes permeating the air.

The Ash River, flowing through this region, emitted a faint green light in darkness. The fish able to survive in there were distorted, blind, and toxic, with Ghost Grass covering the barren, dried land where no other plants could grow.

The destructive radiation power filled this place, enduring countless years has yet to subside, even the giant dragons could see clouds of demons poised above, deeming the abandoned city untouchable.

Even demons born from the Abyss Plane dare not tread deeper into this area.

Thankfully, numerous towering Energy Absorption Devices supplied the magic barrier that protected legion warriors on the island, isolating them from radiation impact. Otherwise, these Low Level Casters might have been influenced by this powerful radiation.

While this radiation doesn’t harm dragons much, extended stay could induce relative mutations by absorbing such force, enabling control over it, as dragons are among the most adaptable creatures to environments.

In the wealth of Karon’s knowledge, there’s even mention of the Radiant Dragon as this rare mutated dragon species, scarce as Time Dragon.

”I wonder how Rosani is now, hopefully not killed by demons,” the constantly disdainful Red Dragon Kleyna suddenly spoke.

With the floating island gradually revealing, demons noticed from afar, gathering toward here.

However, those demons didn’t approach here, only circling far away in the sky, their malicious gaze tightly nailed onto the floating island’s silhouette.

The floating island gradually intersected with the world’s reality, revealing fully its path. Under the guidance of World Tree Ovogen Roots and driven by energy supply from the Energy Absorption Devices, it departed from the Shadow Lands.

This place being demon-scorned isn’t suitable as a staging point for legion descent.

”Rosani is still alive, I can sense it,”

Karon looked at the steep cliffs below, gradually eroded by the Abyssal Death Qi brought by endless demons, and by the ceaseless corrosive essence spilling from plane passages, turning it abyss-like, fissures of death qi starting to sprout everywhere, morphing into a mortal end for beings.

Although Valerian Peninsula nearly spans the entire continent from here, Black Dragon Rosani shares a Heart Energy link with the Ancestral Red Dragon Sword, possessing an original Spiritual Subordinate Authority, allowing him to perceive each other’s life and death.
