Beneath the Red Dragon

In the sky, the Demon Dragon roared with outspread wings, spewing flames that turned all living creatures before it into a rolling blaze. On the ground, warriors screamed and danced wildly, slashing with steel blades, trampling the flesh and bones of demons surging like a tide.

Beneath the Wall of Valerian, it was already a blood-soaked, stinking battlefield.

”Everyone, Sound Wave Shock Burst!” shouted the knight Batorri, her short hair wildly tossing in the fierce wind as her voice, filled with power, reached the ears of every Flying Dragon Rider.

Bzzzz,

An invisible sound wave vibrated the air, oscillating swiftly like ripples in water. At that moment, all bat-winged flying dragons vibrated their tendrils simultaneously, emitting an invisible sound wave that swept through the demons ahead, shaking dozens or even hundreds of demons from the sky.

The low tier demons shrieked, flapping their wings wildly in a bid to steady themselves, panic evident in the eyes that mixed chaos and destruction.

Batorri deftly maneuvered her flying dragon leader, Xun Ying, through the air, not needing to swing the hefty dragon spear clutched firmly between her elbow and waist.

Using the speed of the flying dragon, even faster than that of a giant dragon, the dragon spear was imbued with unstoppable force and penetration, shattering and impaling the unstable forms in the sky, threading them onto her bloodstained edge.

The Flying Dragon Riders on either side roared, forming a triangular assault formation with their leader Batorri, their dragon spears charged with the power of the flying dragons, slicing through the demon hordes alongside the sharp claws and bites of their mounts to create a breach.

The Dragon King Knights of House Targaryen and the Dragon King Knights of the Orion Clan rode the mightiest two black demon dragons, their two-hundred-meter-long bodies followed by a variety of scale-colored demon dragons, charging forward, faithfully fulfilling their duty to guard the wings of the Flying Dragon Knight Order.

”Dracarys, Bellerion!”

”Dracarys, Rahix!”

The Demon Dragon Knights brandished their longswords, shouting furiously.

The massive demon dragons, in perfect sync with their knights, roared, opening their gaping mouths filled with long teeth, spewing fire at breakneck speed with a sharp sonic boom, falling upon the demons attempting to flank them.

The scorching heatwave swept in, the angry flames of the demon dragons incinerating weaker demons into ash. Even those shadow demons hiding in the shadows could not escape the mundane flames of the demon dragons, turning into black smoke and screaming as they turned to dust.

A few intermediate demons mixed with low tier demons had the layer of black smoke on their bodies, akin to the aura of death, ignited by the dragon flame, quickly burned away but evading the initial wave of damage from the dragon flame.

This allowed several intermediate demons to break through the demon dragon flames, slamming onto the knight securely fastened to the demon dragon’s back.

”Cowardly mortals, this will be a massacre,” howled the intermediate demon in demonic tongue, its claws sinking into the demon dragon’s back, the left ones gripping the demon dragon knight’s head, the right ones stabbing toward the knight’s heart.

”Aooo,”

The demon dragon howled in pain as its back was pierced, its steady flight beginning to wobble, desperately trying to shake the demons off.

But neither the knights nor the demons could be easily thrown off, both no longer paying attention to the demon dragon beneath them, claws and the gleam of swords quickly deciding the outcome in an instant.

The leather armor worn by the Demon Dragon Knight was like fragile thin paper against the claws and fangs of the intermediate demon, easily penetrated and shattering the knight’s heart.

Yet, knowing his own strength, the demon dragon knight realized he could not withstand this powerful demon immune to dragon flames, so he gave up on defense from the start.

His Valyrian Steel Sword met the charging demon head-on, simultaneously piercing through the demon’s tough hide that could rival leather used for making shields.

The blade pierced the heart, trading the life of a mortal for these fiendish lives.

”In the name of bronze and fire, this battle has been fought to the fullest...” The knight of House Targaryen coughed up blood, using his last ounce of strength to thrust the Valyrian Steel Sword forward.

Bang,

The knight’s heroism only further enraged the injured demon, whose heart was constructed unlike ordinary creatures and thus not lethally harmed, screeching as it crushed the knight’s skull.

Then it ripped out the knight’s heart, still dripping with blood, and devoured it whole.

”Burn it alive, Dracarys!”

A demon dragon swooped down from the sky, spewing flames at the command of its knight, engulfing both the demon and the demon dragon in a blaze of fury.

The demon and the demon dragon both screamed in agony as they were roasted by the flames, then plummeted into The Sea together.

Demons fell in droves, knights dwindled one by one, exchanging blood for blood, bone for bone.

Boom, spinning wild, the heavy hammer swung forward with an awe-inspiring and domineering momentum, glowing brightly like dazzling white lightning and thunder bursting forth.

Dozens of charging demons were swept away by the Legion’s heavy hammer, the unmatched force shattering and cracking the bones of demon bodies upon contact with the hammer, the bodies flying backward with the lingering power, knocking surrounding demons far away.

Despite being in the heat of battle, the Legion remained calm, but its ferocious momentum instilled fear in the attacking demons.

The heavy hammer in its hand was not only tremendously powerful; every clash with weapon claws caused mental assault and spiritual shock, as if whipping the very soul of the demons, which they found hard to withstand.

Even mid-tier demons couldn’t last a single round against this ferocious legionary combat.

The power of Heart Energy, inspired by the Ancestral Red Dragon, manifests differently in each individual, determined by personal will and spirit, showcasing varying might.
