Chapter 982, The Moon Goddess’s Blessing

Translator: Silavin

“Next, everyone follow me together to the Tsukimi Sect to receive the Moon Goddess’ blessing!” After the Archpriest finished speaking, he took the lead, bringing everyone towards the Transport Array to Tsukimi Lake.

Everyone’s faces showed expressions of wild joy as they followed behind the Archpriest.

Under the envious gazes of countless people at the scene, everyone followed the Archpriest together, entering Tsukimi Lake one by one.

After passing through Tsukimi Lake’s Transport Array, everyone soon arrived at a new Map.

Lu Fan looked around and discovered that this new Map was actually beautiful to the extreme.

Beneath everyone’s feet was a lake surface.

To call it a lake surface was not entirely accurate.

Because the lake water was extraordinarily calm, like a mirror. At the same time, when everyone stepped on it, they could feel a sensation like they were stepping on cotton. It was extremely comfortable.

In the Map, it was night-time with no Sun.

However, in the sky there was an enormous Moon, eternally suspended, emitting fluorescent light.

The fluorescent light spilled onto the lake surface below and was continuously reflected, causing this place to be not only bright as day, but the light was not dazzling at all.

The moonlight here was incomparably sacred. Being in such an environment made people completely at peace.

[So this is Tsukimi Lake? It truly is impressive…]

The position where everyone stood was at the boundary of the Map.

Looking forward, they could still see ahead a castle built from a white stone like jade.

This castle had an architectural style like that of the ancient Romans, immediately reminding Lu Fan of the Zodiacs he had seen in a certain animation in his previous life.

Within the white jade castle, one could see quite a few Tsukimi Sect members coming and going. It appeared that should be where the Tsukimi Sect truly resided.

Everyone was at the outskirts of the Tsukimi Sect. They did not wait long before another group of people entered.

This group consisted of Lifestyle Specialised Profession and Enhancement Specialised Profession Players, who had been specially recruited as members. Han Ke was also among them.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, the two groups merged into one. Han Ke was also able to reunite with Lu Fan and the others, gathering together.

The person who brought them was another Tsukimi Sect member. Although his status was not low, it was not as high as the Archpriest’s.

After this person brought another batch of Players in, he stepped forward to salute the Archpriest, then said. “Archpriest, please wait here with these people for a moment. I’ll go in to report to the Moon Goddess.”

The Archpriest nodded. “Alright. After the Moon Goddess gives the order, I’ll bring people in to receive her blessing.”

After saying this, the other person quickly walked towards the Tsukimi Sect, apparently going to report.

Before long, the Moon in the sky suddenly flickered.

The Archpriest looked up, as if receiving some command, and said to everyone. “Alright, the Moon Goddess has already given the order for me to bring you all to receive her blessing. Now, let me explain the rules for the blessing. In a moment, everyone will follow me to sit down at the entrance of the Tsukimi Sect, then relax and wait for the blessing.”

“The radiance of the Moon Goddess will spread over each and every one of you. Feel it carefully. How much of the Moon Goddess’s power you can obtain depends entirely on this one time. As long as your comprehension is high enough, you’ll be able to obtain more Divine Power than others.”

“Don’t think that just because your strength is inferior to others, after entering the Sect, the Divine Power you obtain will also be less than others. That is a wrong presumption. What the Moon Goddess needs are members with high comprehension, who are loyal to her. As long as you’re loyal to her and have a better level of comprehension, able to better understand the Moon Goddess’s state of mind, you’ll be able to obtain more Divine Power and your strength will correspondingly be greater than others.”

After a pause, the Archpriest continued. “Actually, back then, among the list of members that got recruited by the Tsukimi Sect, not only was my strength ranked at the bottom, but I myself only had a Support Specialised Profession. My Combat Power was far inferior to others. But I was smart, and I worshipped the Goddess and was truly loyal to her, so I obtained the most Diver Power out of everyone in my cohort.”

“Now, relying solely on the Moon Goddess’s Divine Power, my strength can easily crush almost everyone in this world! And, I am not a special case. You all very likely could possess strength like mine!”

As soon as these words came out, everyone else became excited.

The Archpriest’s strength just now was evident to all.

Someone as strong as Mikami Heiji had almost no ability to fight back before him.

And this strength was all bestowed by the Moon Goddess!

In other words, they could also be like the Archpriest, beating up top experts like Mikami Heiji!

This was almost no different from ascending to Heaven in a single step!

Seeing everyone so excited, the Archpriest smiled slightly and said. “Alright, the opportunity to receive the Moon Goddess’s blessing only comes once. Once you’ve received her blessing, you won’t get a second chance. So you must cherish it well. Remember what I said, comprehension and loyalty. Neither can be lacking.”

“After I have you sit down, everyone must remain silent. If anyone dares make any noise and interfere with the Moon Goddess’s blessing, I’ll throw that person out of Tsukimi Lake and never let them set foot in Tsukimi Lake again!”

Everyone hurriedly expressed that they would follow the rules and would not interfere with the process.

Only then did the Archpriest lead them, walking on foot towards the Tsukimi Sect.

It appeared that the Tsukimi Sect was right ahead, not far away, but somehow, this walk took a full half hour.

Lu Fan guessed that it was most likely some kind of terrain manipulation Skill that made the true distance here different from what it appeared to be.

So while the Map of Tsukimi Lake looked small, in reality, the internal space might not be smaller than Okino Island.

[No wonder members of the Tsukimi Sect usually lived in seclusion here at Tsukimi Lake and rarely left. It turned out that staying here was much more comfortable than on Okino Island.]

Soon, everyone finally arrived before the Tsukimi Sect.

At the Archpriest’s command, everyone dispersed, maintaining a certain distance from the others, then sat cross-legged.

After everyone sat down, only then did the Archpriest kneel and bow towards the Tsukimi Sect, as if informing the Moon Goddess that he had brought the new members.

Afterwards, the Moon in the sky once again spilled light downward. The gentle moonlight shone towards the crowd, enveloping some people within it.

Immediately, these people closed their eyes. Following what the Archpriest had said, they carefully felt the blessing of the Moon Goddess, while simultaneously expressing their loyalty to obtain more Divine Power.

The others quietly waited, watching for when the Moon Goddess’s Divine Power could shine upon themselves, allowing them to also possess Divine Power…
