Chapter 1138: Chapter 390: Fiery Flame Canyon (Part 2)

Gregory couldn’t help but show a satisfied expression, nodded, and said: ”Not bad! After some time, once this matter settles, we can come back again.”

As Gregory turned to leave, he suddenly thought of something, stopped, and added another sentence.

”By the way, check the bodies. If any are still alive, remember to finish them off.”

”At your command, Gregory, Great Priest.”

Residence of the Bixiu Mechanization School.

After the meeting, Mogaro returned to his office.

A few minutes later, Rein also entered his office.

”Rein, I need your help.” Mogaro frowned, looking at Rein, and said seriously.

”Mentor, is it about Fiery Flame Canyon?”

”Yes, it seems you’ve already heard; Trevor is dead, and I must go there. The school has decided to send both an investigation team and guardians, going together this time.”

”Even though the surviving wizards reported that this situation was an accident, similar to an elemental creature riot, I personally think it might not be that simple.”

”Since the Sect Leader is absent, this investigation team is led by the Deputy Sect Leader Bradley, and of course, I will also participate.”

”As for the guardianship team, currently other series in the school don’t have enough personnel. So, Rein, I would like to ask you to help, taking Alicia and Audrey with you.”

Mogaro looked towards Rein, with a faint hint of anticipation in his eyes.

”If the situation stabilizes, you can come back anytime. And with Alicia and Audrey, they can match the combat power of a First Level Peak Wizard.”

”Mentor, I have no problem here. When exactly do we set off, so I can make a little preparation.” Rein thought for a moment, nodded, and agreed.

Coincidentally, the Sword Holder Headquarters is currently clearing internal moles, and he has no assignments.

Besides, Mentor Mogaro has always been good to him, so if the Metal Series is in trouble, Rein feels if there are things he can help with, he naturally should.

”The time is set for tomorrow morning, with half a day to prepare.” Seeing Rein agree, Mogaro couldn’t help but feel an old sense of comfort.

He knows the combat power of his disciple.

With Rein accompanying, the whole journey is much safer.

”Hmm, the time is enough.” Rein nodded.

”By the way, regarding the task rewards this time, the school decided to double them, from the original one thousand points per guardian to two thousand points.”

”If there are any additional discoveries or situations during the guardianship, there will be further rewards.”

”Oh? That’s a good thing.” Rein’s eyes lit up, he smiled and said.

It seems if he is lucky enough this time, he can quickly gather the contribution points needed for the third level of Steel Heart Advanced Meditation Method.

...

Half an hour later.

Upon hearing Mogaro say they are heading to Fiery Flame Canyon for investigation, Audrey and the others were not surprised.

Because Senior Trevor, as one of Mentor Mogaro’s proud disciples, had an incident suddenly happened, the mentor is likely to go there personally.

”For the defense, Alicia, Audrey, you two go together, and also, Rein, you come with us.”

”Hmm?” Joseph heard this and couldn’t help his face darken.

Why wasn’t his name mentioned?

Is it that the mentor heard about how Junior Rein defeated his puppetry control a couple of days ago?

If not, why take Rein for experience this time, but not him?

Indeed, the teacher favors good students!

Alicia’s beautiful eyes also glanced at Rein, looking surprised.

Is the mentor’s favoritism this obvious now?

Audrey, of course, knew the reason.

Upon hearing that Rein is coming too, her first reaction was a sense of security.

”Joseph, some matters in the series are entrusted to you.” Mogaro turned with a serious look at Joseph.

”Okay, Mentor, rest assured.” Joseph hurriedly nodded.

...

Early the next morning, after briefly informing Anna and his family, Rein arrived at the school residence.

Soon, Mogaro took Rein and the others to the school’s airship point.

This is an area similar to an underground launch silo, with a large airship anchored in the center of the area.

”Wow~ It’s a big setup!” Alicia couldn’t help but exclaim softly.

Although she has been at the Bixiu Mechanization School for five or six years, it’s her first time going to the Secret Realm.

Previously, she had followed Mentor Mogaro and seen some things, but never this many people at once.

Moreover, due to the special nature of the Bixiu Mechanization School, at the moment, behind every wizard, there is one or multiple puppets, including special Rock Puppets and Metal Puppets, many of which are quite large.

So it looks rather spectacular.

The originally spacious airship deck is now crowded.

”Spectacular, isn’t it? Some Clay Series puppets, and even larger Demon Statues, are all at the bottom of the cargo hold.” Alicia commented when she noticed Rein looking around with interest.

”Yes, it’s indeed rare to see.” Rein smiled and nodded, he said.

Before him, most are First Level Peak Wizards, with four Second Level Liquidization Wizards, who are the elites and heads of the Clay Series, Rock Series, and Flesh Series.

In comparison, the series Rein belongs to, the Metal Series, seems rather ’weak’, with mostly females, or newcomers like Rein.

As for Mogaro, although very senior, the problem is his strength is stuck at the First Level Peak Wizard, making him slightly inferior when compared with the heads of other series.
