Chapter 1133: Chapter 389: Puppets and Demon Statues

”By the way, Rein junior, you don’t still have only a middle-grade battle puppet, do you?” Alicia suddenly blinked her beautiful eyes, as if she thought of something.

”Uh... It seems like I currently only have the Iron Plate Battle Puppet.” Rein thought for a moment and nodded.

Over the past few days, Rein has mostly been soaking in the school library, so he has a certain understanding of the differences between junior battle puppets and middle-grade battle puppets.

Middle-grade battle puppets are not only larger in size and heavier in weight but also have an important addition compared to junior battle puppets—a small energy device.

With this device, middle-grade battle puppets can suddenly unleash an attack with a power similar to mid-to-high level secret techniques under the control of a wizard during battle.

”No wonder Rein junior was so hesitant just now, turns out he still doesn’t have a middle-grade battle puppet.” Alicia couldn’t help but laugh.

”Audrey, Joseph, let’s help Rein junior get a middle-grade battle puppet first.” Alicia turned her head and spoke to the two beside her.

Joseph seemed to show a difficult expression, as if he wanted to refuse, but Audrey immediately agreed and said:

”Of course, this is what we should do as seniors.”

For Audrey, who vaguely knows Rein’s true identity, not to mention helping to make one, she’d be willing to give Rein her own middle-grade battle puppet.

But the problem is, is a middle-grade battle puppet really useful to Lord Rein? Audrey couldn’t help but glance at Rein.

Seeing Alicia speak up, Audrey expressed her willingness to help again immediately. Joseph reluctantly nodded but muttered softly, ”I didn’t get such treatment when I came.”

”So, Rein junior, which middle-grade battle puppet are you planning to choose?” Alicia asked enthusiastically.

Just as Rein was about to decline, Joseph’s expression lit up, as if thinking of something, and he suggested:

”Why not choose the Angry Hammer Battle Puppet? It can perform a special attack ’Angry Hammer Strike’, with impressive power. Plus, we made so many recently, there are two finished products in the warehouse, just need to add a small energy device.”

Obviously, Joseph was looking to cut corners.

Alicia glared at Joseph irritably and said: ”Pfft! Joseph, what kind of suggestion is that!”

”Rein junior should only be able to control one middle-grade battle puppet at the moment. Although Angry Hammer Battle Puppet has decent attack power, its defensive power is much weaker, not suitable for a newcomer like Rein junior at all.”

”Rein, listen to your sister, wait until you can control two middle-grade battle puppets, then consider choosing the Angry Hammer Battle Puppet, or just choose the Sword and Shield Puppet Guard, which has a more balanced offensive and defensive capability with no significant weaknesses.”

Joseph, who got reprimanded by Alicia, dared not retort and mumbled under his breath:

”Rein looks like he comes from a Knight background, his movement and evasion should be fast, directly controlling the Angry Hammer Battle Puppet might create some unexpected victories.”

”Let’s go with the Angry Hammer Battle Puppet.” Rein thought for a moment and said.

Since there’s a ready-made one, that naturally is the best, because for him, it hardly matters which middle-grade battle puppet he chooses.

Moreover, he’s been working on the Angry Hammer Battle Puppet these past few days, so he’s quite familiar with it.

Soon, the four of them arrived at the metal warehouse.

Inside were many semi-finished battle puppets arranged messily, and of course, more components.

Since the Angry Hammer Battle Puppets were just completed a few days ago, they were placed not far from the warehouse entrance.

The Angry Hammer Battle Puppet standing around three meters tall, although not much taller than the slightly over two-meter Iron Plate Battle Puppet, the sense of pressure it exudes is completely different.

To know, although Small Four was shorter in the previous life, but the height difference with Big Yao did not reach one meter.

But when playing basketball, facing Small Four and facing Big Yao, the sense of pressure was completely different.

”Rein junior, I happen to have an extra small energy device, you can use it first.” Audrey handed over a rectangular object, which was similar in size to a brick but much thinner, to Rein.

”All you need to do is insert it into the slot on the puppet’s back.”

The energy device mainly contained a type of Crystal Stone, which is nurtured in the elemental energy pool at the school location.

Of course, there’s another source of higher quality for Crystal Stones, which is when elemental creatures reach Transcendent power, they naturally nurture these Crystal Stones within their bodies.

Moreover, the stronger the elemental creature’s power, the stronger the energy contained in its Crystal Stone, and different elemental creatures nurture Crystal Stones with different attributes.

Though the latter’s effect is better, even the power of high-rank Crystal Stones is tremendous, but their price also increases geometrically.

”Well.... alright, thank you!” Rein thought for a moment, then accepted the small energy device Audrey handed him.

”No need to be polite, junior.” Audrey lowered her eyes, but inside she was quite excited because she realized this famous ’junior’ in front of her was not that hard to get along with.

”Eh? Audrey, the small energy device is not cheap, you need 100 Contribution Points to redeem one! Why are you so generous this time?” Joseph scrutinized the other party suspiciously.

”Uh... Rein is a junior, and as a senior I should express something.” Audrey’s face flashed a blush and said.

Alicia, seeing Audrey’s expression from the sidelines, found it quite meaningful.
