Chapter 1107: Chapter 381: Third Form Combat Power

Imperial City Tamriel.

Second floor of Drum Manor, inside the luxurious study.

”Is it today?” Duke Drum asked.

”Yes, my lord Duke. Young Greenwood and the others set out yesterday, and the action should take place today.” The butler Owen bowed slightly and respectfully answered.

”Hmm, any news from the Black Blade Organization?”

”It has been confirmed. They dispatched a King of Assassins, who arrived in Nome Province a day ahead.”

Duke Drum nodded slightly and asked again: ”On Greenwood’s side, is ’Corpse Splitter’ Greg accompanying?”

”Yes, my lord Duke.”

”Hmm... then there shouldn’t be any problems.” Duke Drum nodded, somewhat muttering to himself.

However, at this moment, there was still a hint of gloom in his heart.

Because this morning, when he met with General Donald from the Sword Holder Headquarters, the latter said this to him.

’If mediation is possible, it’s best to reconcile with this Rein.’

At first, he didn’t understand what Donald meant.

Until the other told him, according to the latest top-secret intelligence from the Sword Holder, Rein once directly defeated a projection of a certain Legendary Divine.

It’s not that Donald was not well-informed, but the confidentiality level of this intelligence was too high, and only a few people in the entire Sword Holder Headquarters could access the whole picture, of which he was not one.

This immediately shocked Duke Drum!

Though it was a projection of Divine Legendary power, in reality, there were very few among human Legendary Strongmen who could compete with it.

Even a mere projection represented a strand of Divine energy, with various Extraordinary Battle Techniques and witchcraft easily at hand, all perfectly paired together.

For Rein to defeat a divine projection meant that he likely had combat power at the Legendary Peak.

Of course, it was also possible that Rein used a powerful Witch Artifact or some other means to repel the projection.

Fortunately, one of the family advisors, ’Corpse Splitter’ Greg, also possessed this level of power after activating the Giant Rock Battle Body.

Plus, with the King of Assassins lying in ambush, even if Rein’s strength reached the Legendary Peak, combined with both forces, the chance to kill him was still very high.

Duke Drum pondered silently.

Moreover, Greenwood wasn’t really his nephew, but his illegitimate son, only nominally placed under his brother’s name.

And he was the most talented among all his illegitimate children.

Even Greenwood himself was unaware of this.

This was partly why he felt a bit worried.

...

-----------------

Simultaneously.

In the square of Mud Swamp Town, Nome Province, the ground was littered with flesh and remains, in a chaotic mess.

”Oh? A misunderstanding? Unfortunately, I don’t want to hear your explanation...”

Rein, in Dragon-man King Form, glanced coldly at Greenwood before him, and his massive claws descended from the sky!

”No! Rein, don’t you want to know why the Sam Group is so obsessed with that Elf?” Greenwood, on the brink of death, suddenly shouted, thinking of something.

Judging by Rein’s ruthless attack just now, he didn’t seem to care about any Duke Family background, and threatening him with this might lead to a swifter death.

Only by appealing to what the other cared about might he have a chance at survival.

”Hoo~~” A fierce gust whipped against Greenwood’s face, distorting his skin!

In the instant Greenwood was terrified beyond belief, the cruel giant claw stopped.

Rein said: ”Why?”

”Because for some reason, the Second Prince has a fondness for Elven females, and apart from the Elf Clan ambassadors in Tamriel whom he dares not touch, people have been helping him collect Elven females across other parts of the Empire.”

”Oh? Really?”

”Really! I swear! I swear!” Greenwood shouted desperately, seemingly seeing a glimmer of hope for survival.

”Two years ago, in Mingster Province, the Sam Group captured another Elven female and sent her to the Second Prince.” Greenwood revealed another secret, trying to make his words seem credible.

”Who else knows about this? Can anyone verify your words?” Rein’s eyes twinkled.

In an instant, he realized something.

”Yes, yes! Our family butler Owen knows.” Hearing Rein’s question, Greenwood showed a pleased expression and quickly replied.

In his view, his life was spared.

At the moment, even the others believed so.

”Hmm, goodbye then.” Rein said calmly.

Goodbye?

What does goodbye mean?

As Greenwood pondered the meaning of Rein’s words, suddenly, the sky went dark!

”Boom!”

The ground instantly formed a huge pit, the shape perfectly matching a giant dragon claw, and Greenwood, along with the metal cage, was crushed into pulp!

At this moment, Rein finally canceled the Dragon-man King Form and reverted to human form.

”You... you actually killed him, he was the Drum Family’s most promising direct descendant!” Mia exclaimed in shock, witnessing the scene.

”Do you know that the Drum Family is a Guardian Family, they...”

”So what?” Rein glanced at Mia and replied.

And Chandler, meanwhile, plopped onto the ground, terrified out of his mind.
