Warhammer Divine Throne

Then, Laine described his current situation, including his relationship with his superior and the Lake Fairy, and emphasized that he had taken Amelia as a maid, as well as taking in a Dark Elf as a maid.

Listening to this, Veronica sneered, ”He never seems to lack women around him.”

”Member of Parliament, Lord Laine expressed that his domain needs your help. He doesn’t know how you plan to build your Wizard Tower, but he’s all prepared. As soon as you arrive at Baron Gene’s Domain, your Wizard Tower can start construction immediately.” Catherine continued to read the letter; her face suddenly turned red, ”Lord Laine hopes you can set out soon. He said he wants to make up for the missed Winter Festival with you, he wants to hold you, and he wants to... uh, OO then XX...”

”Enough, enough!” Veronica’s face turned red instantly, and the witch hurriedly grabbed the long parchment and looked over it carefully herself.

Soon, the witch’s face was also full of blush.

The letter wasn’t long. The witch didn’t know that the contents of Laine’s two letters were roughly the same; it was just that the letter to Teresa was more formal, while the one to his partner was playfully indecent, and the tone was more intimate.

Gently pressing the envelope against her ample bosom, Veronica took a deep breath, and her expression looked much better. She seemed to feel the force and mischievous smile Laine had when writing the letter.

”Finally, I’ve been waiting.” The witch muttered to herself, ”Now transferring to Marinburg and then heading to his domain will take at most a month; at the latest, I should arrive by early November.”

”Catherine, you should head back first. I need to see Speaker Margarita!”

”Yes, Member of Parliament.”

No sooner said than done! Veronica ate a simple lunch, picked up Laine’s letter, and left her room in a rush.

She needed to see the Speaker to apply for assignment abroad; she had already informed the Speaker about this and just needed to formalize it.

Coming out of her room, Veronica followed the corridor of the castle toward the Wizard Tower located at the very center of the Celestial Vault Castle.

After just a few steps, she encountered someone she didn’t want to see.

The female sorcerer, wearing a mink coat, shirt, and wide-legged pants, held a letter in her hand, seemingly also on her way to find someone. Her steps were swift.

Until Teresa discovered Veronica standing in front of her.

The female sorcerer stopped instinctively, ”It’s you!”

”Oh, isn’t it our Little Princess Jialan?” Veronica said with an unfriendly expression, her beautiful apricot eyes fixed on the female sorcerer’s cold and glamorous face, ”In such a hurry, where are you headed?”

Halfway through her words, the witch suddenly noticed the letter in Teresa’s hand, ”Is that... did you also receive a letter from Laine?!”

”Hmph! That’s right, it seems Laine wrote letters to both of us.” Teresa’s face was as cold as ice, and from any angle, this witch in front of her made her feel uncomfortable, ”Now I’m curious, what did he tell you in his letter?”

The purple Magic Staff appeared in the female sorcerer’s hand.

”I’m also curious how Miss Trovik managed to get Laine to write to you. Did you, you bitch, climb into Laine’s bed back then?” Veronica squinted her eyes.

In ten seconds, the two women completed their spell preparations, deep blue ice energy swirled in Teresa’s staff, and Veronica’s fingertips emitted a fiery red flame.

They both set their eyes on each other’s letter.

”Hand over your letter to me!”

”Give me the letter!”
