With the longsword leading the way, Laine wielded the Goddess of Revenge, cutting through the entire Beastman army formation.

In the pouring rain, adorned in Grey Knight Spiritual Power Armor and holding the Goddess of Revenge, the Holy Grail Knight appeared invincible.

From Inferior Horned Beast, Horned Beast, to the elite Great Horned Beast.

From Chaos War Dog, Razor Beast, to Harpies and Giant Minotaur.

No creature was a match for Laine, the longsword shining with a dazzling blue glow repeatedly charged into the Beastman army formation. On the battlefield, any sign of Beastman attempting to organize a counterattack was immediately crushed by Laine, who charged in holding the Goddess of Revenge and thwarted their fragile efforts.

All resistance was crushed, leaving only the chaotic Beastman herds and the advancing human army.

The Beast King and Screaming Great Shaman, seeing the situation was bad, immediately abandoned deploying the finest Doomsday Bull Battle Group and Cyclops Battle Group, withdrawing swiftly with their elite troops, leaving a few Beastman War Gangs to cover the retreat.

”Lord Laine, don’t abandon us!” A group of peasants was surrounded by Beastmen, and seeing this, Laine hurried over at great strides: ”Hold on!”

”Human... ugh!” Another Beastman Leader appeared before Laine.

”Die, beast!” The power of the Goddess of Revenge was fully unleashed, the sacred light blinding the Beastman Leader, unable to open his eyes, then the longsword drew a beautiful arc.

A flash of white light, the cleaver in the Beastman’s hand, its right arm and head were severed simultaneously.

”Ahhhh!” Laine erupted with a roar more wild than the Beastman; this was already the third Beastman Leader he had killed: ”For the Lady!”

”For the Lady!” Roars and shouts echoed across the battlefield, Beastmen, now leaderless and without command, were like lost dogs, even peasants dared to attack them.

Chaos, blood, and severed limbs covered the battlefield.

”Argh!” Julius raised his shield, the Minotaur’s large axe struck the shield and was deflected. Then, the Kingdom Knight’s longsword swung out, injuring the Minotaur’s thigh, it wailed, trying to stand, Julius stabbed a sword into its chest, twisting the blade: ”Die!”

Sweat and rain mixed into a blur, washing away filth and taking away the last bit of morale from the Beastmen, who scattered in retreat.

Gabriel was about to lead the army in pursuit when Surya stretched out her hand to stop him, the golden hair of the female knight drenched by the rain. She hurriedly said: ”Lord Gabriel, do not chase them, the soldiers have reached their limits.”

The Marquis, bloodied with victory, realized that both knights and peasants were already at their physical limits. Continuing the pursuit into the forest under the rain was unwise, so Gabriel abandoned the chase and stood in place shouting: ”Victory! Victory!”

”Victory!”

”We have won!”

”To hell with you, beasts!”

”The Gods will mock your cowardice!”

The soldiers roared, shouted, standing on piles of Beastman corpses, cheering their victories. Knights proudly boasted about how many beasts they had slain, while the sergeants calculated how much reward the heads would bring back, and peasants combed the battlefield, hoping for some new spoils.

In this battle, the Knightly Path Right Army eliminated at least over two thousand Beastmen, which was no small loss for the Beastman army.

The Goddess of Revenge was sheathed, Laine panted, having fought continuously for over two hours while wearing power armor and wielding the Goddess of Revenge. His strength was largely spent, but luckily, victory was still achieved.

The Holy Grail Knight raised his Warhammer: ”Victory! We have won this victory for the Lady and Brittania!”

”Victory! Victory! Victory!” Seeing the commander speak, everyone shouted loudly in response.

The torrential rain, lightning above illuminated the entire battlefield. Under the pale illumination of the lightning, Laine’s silhouette as he stood atop the pile of Beastman bodies was deeply etched into everyone’s hearts.

This is the invincible Holy Grail Knight, the champion of the Lake Fairy.

”Quickly clean the battlefield, do not linger here!”

”Yes!”

”Be cautious of the surviving Beastmen, remember to finish them off, we need no captives!”

Laine issued one command after another, then noticed a young man walking past him.

It was Deni, the young man who reminded him of tonight’s rain. Laine saw him carrying several heads, intending to request a reward from the Master Knight, so he found Gabriel and whispered a few words to the Marquis.

”Oh! Of course, he will be rewarded for his actions!” Gabriel nodded repeatedly, the rain forcing him to reply loudly: ”Since Lord Laine believes he deserves it, I have no objections, after all it was Lord Laine who brought us victorious, haha!”

”Thank you very much, Gabriel, thank you very much.” Laine nodded in gratitude.

After a brief exchange, Laine suddenly noticed there was no rain over his head.

Turning around, it was Surya, the female knight holding an umbrella for him, with a bright smile: ”Lord Laine, this is my thanks to you.”

”I should be the one thanking you, Miss Surya.” Laine smiled and nodded, as he was soaked all over, using or not using an umbrella really didn’t matter much.

However, he appreciated the sentiment of the female knight; without the umbrella, he would never be dry.
