The First Store System

Chapter 996: Interesting Conversation!

Trying to absorb the numerous battles Fidel fought inside the training area, he left the weapons room.

Fidel had only just left the room when he froze in his steps as he found a familiar face waiting there for him.

Fidel hurriedly turned around to enter the weapons room, but before he could, a voice rang in his ears.

”Father, you know me. I will wait for you here for as long as it takes.”

Fidel stopped, and a helpless expression appeared on his face. The next moment, it turned into a smile, and Fidel approached his son.

”You betrayed me,” Fidel complained when he was near Aakesh.

”I couldnʼt just throw my customers away,” Aakesh retorted expressionlessly.

”Good, thatʼs how a store owner should be,” Fidel complemented Aakesh and then reached his son.

”Why are you forcing me to do this?” A helpless expression reappeared on Fidelʼs face, and he asked his son, Fred.

”I am not forcing you to do this. It was you who promised mother,” Fred responded.

”Hmm, I was a fool to promise your mother,” Fidel ridiculed himself.

”Are you sure you want Mother to listen to this?” A smile suddenly appeared on Fredʼs face, and he asked.

Fidel, who was going to use an even more obscene word to define himself, froze. His head moved like a machine as he surveyed the store.

Only after finding out that his wife wasnʼt here did he exhale a sigh of relief.

”You sure have become her when it comes to your personality,” Fidel complained.

”Are you sure you want me to fight her? She wouldnʼt like the outcome,” Fidelʼs chuckled.

A mocking expression appeared on Fredʼs face as he rebutted, ”When was the last time you won over her in a battle?”

”The time you were bo-” Fidel wanted to respond, but he stopped midway as he saw Fredʼs face becoming awkward.

Cough! ”I meant when she was pregnant with you,” Fidel responded to remove the awkwardness.

”Arenʼt you too proud to defeat a pregnant woman?” Fred mocked.

Aakesh, who was listening to the conversation between the father and son, couldnʼt help but look at them weirdly. He wanted to close his eyes and relax, but the conversation was becoming more interesting with every sentence.

”You sure have got big words for a loser!” Fidel was going to rebut his son when a familiar voice rang in his ears.

Fidel trembled as if he had been electrocuted. If eyes could kill, Fred would have been killed millions of times at that moment.

White Draugr, a female, then appeared in the store beside Fred.

”So, you have chosen your mother over me; good, good, good,” Fidel angrily responded.

The female White Draugrʼs cultivation was at Supreme God level when she appeared, but soon it grew and reached peak Sacred Monarch in no time.

***

Fidel and Riddley were childhood sweethearts. Fidel was the son of the leader of White Draugr, while Riddley was the daughter of the army chief, so even their parents supported them.

Both Fidel and Riddley liked to battle, so they once made a promise to battle every thousand years. None of them tried to break the promise, as the battle went on for millions of years without any issue.

But things began to change after the birth of Fred. As if Fred were the key blocking Riddley from winning after his birth, Ridleyʼs strength grew severalfold.

Before that, the battle was equal between the two, with both winning the same number of battles, but from that moment on, he hadnʼt won a single battle against Riddley.

Fred was now seven million years old, and they had fought over seven thousand battles in that time, with Riddley leading the way with all victories.

Fidel got bored of losing so many times without seeing any chance of victory, so he left the Universe yesterday.

Fidel was trying to find a suitable hiding place for himself when he came across the store. But unfortunately for him, Ridley had already anticipated her husband doing the same. She asked her son to follow Fidel while she entered his inner world by limiting her cultivation to the Supreme God.

”You think too much of yourself. Why would I run from battle with you?” Fidel said when he saw Riddley in the store.

Before waiting for her response, Fidel used the Ultimate Store Card to teleport while leaving a message, ”I will wait for you there!”

Riddley was going to follow Fidel, but Fred stopped her, warning her against teleporting.

Riddley stopped and finally noticed the web of danger around the store, giving her a surprise.

”How can an early Divine Transformation run this store?” Riddley asked out loud while looking at Aakesh.

The thousand-year battle was the next day, so after finding the store to be extraordinary, Riddley asked Aakesh about the storeʼs products.

Similar to Fred and Fidel, Riddley had the same reaction and questions, but unlike Fidel, Riddley was cold toward others.

Since they didnʼt need to look for Fidel anymore, she and her son went to the Gods & Demons level training area.

Around fifteen minutes had passed when a white light appeared out of nowhere in the store, and when it disappeared, Fidel emerged.

Aakesh was relaxing, but the teleportation woke him up.

”Did they leave the store?” Fidel asked Aakesh since he was actually waiting for Riddley at their battle site.

”No, they have gone to the Gods & Demons level training area.”

”Are there seats available in Panagea?” Fidel asked after getting over the disappointment of his wife becoming even stronger.

”No, but there will be one three hours later,” Aakesh replied.

”Whatʼs the growth rate of the beast from the store?” Fidel asked since he wanted to enter Panagea after Aakesh had suggested it with the training area. The training area satisfied him better than he had anticipated, so he desired to check out Panagea as well.

”For the ultimate quality beast, it might only take days for them to reach peak Divine Lord from early Divine Transformation if they get sufficient resources.”

”The True God level is a threshold, so crossing it would be tough, but once passed, it would be easier to reach higher levels,” Aakesh answered immediately.

The ultimate quality beasts were the best of the best the Sacred Dimension had to offer.
