The First Store System

Chapter 970: Turn to Ash!

Despite spending half an hour looking, the duo failed to find the unique bow, so they gave up on it, deciding to buy the next bow they came across.

Fortunately for the duo, both had great luck, so the weapon they found was top-class.

Since completing the weaponʼs sale required informing Aakesh, the duo left the room and went to Aakesh.

After the weaponʼs sale was complete, the duo paid for the Gods & Demons level training area each and went to the room.

Before entering the infinite space inside the column, William stopped and looked at Elle.

”Letʼs begin our bet from where we stopped,” William announced, and then, without waiting for Elleʼs response, he pricked his finger using the needle on the column.

The next moment, a golden, transparent energy barrier surrounded his physical body, and his consciousness entered the infinite space.

Elle only smiled after hearing William. The next moment, her eyes turned confident as she repeated the process of entering the training area.

Since the bet was between their battle with the Sun Elves, both of them chose the Sun Elf as their opponent. Since the training area depended upon the level of the weapon and not the cultivator, Williamʼs opponent was also a peak Supreme God with the top Higher-level bow in their hands.

Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

The first group of people to enter Panagea finally had their six hours completed, so the system forced them out one by one.

The next moment, several white lights appeared in the portal room, and when they disappeared, there were customers in their place.

One of the customers on the list was Favan. His eyes then fell on the leaderboard section as Aakesh informed the customers about it when they asked about the changes.

Favanʼs eyes almost popped out when he saw the list. His name was at the top, as his efforts over the past several days werenʼt wasted, but then the second list greeted his sight, with only one name in it.

Richard: Level 234

The others also noticed the sudden change in Favanʼs reaction, so they also followed his line of sight and came across the adventurerʼs name and his level.

All of them had the same over-the-top reaction, as they all knew the difficulty of leveling up in Panagea. Favan, in fact, was at the top of the other list, having reached Level 108. While here, there was someone even above Level 200.

It took no time for the others to find Richardʼs identity in the group of thirty-plus people.

Richard had his back wet from sweat as he became the center of attraction in the group. His level in Panagea was above Level 200, several levels higher than other adventurers, but here in reality, he was only an early Divine Transformation level cultivator, while the weakest in the other group was still above his level.

Richardʼs face turned ugly. Even though he was safest in the store, he would have to leave it after some time, and at that time, he would become a weak creature, that could be stepped on by many in the group on the other side.

”How did you reach this high level and why is your name on the other list?” One in the group asked as he could sense things werenʼt what they seemed at first glance. Richardʼs level was above Level 200, while his name was on the other list, so there were some issues with that, and the man wanted to know them.

Richard didnʼt want to answer, but when he remembered that he was too weak in front of the people in the group when outside the store, he dashed all the courage in his heart and honestly answered about the storeʼs ascension.

”Do you think we are all fools to believe that someone from the Primal Dimension will have these products?” One man in the group questioned.

Before Richard could answer, he heard the sound of footsteps entering the room. When he looked in that direction, he found it to be none other than the store owner.

Aakesh was relaxing comfortably on his chair when the systemʼs emotionless voice rang in his head, informing him about the group of customers not leaving the store.

”Why are you not leaving when your turns are over?” Aakeshʼs voice contained no emotions when he asked. His indifferent voice chilled everyone in the room, irrespective of their cultivation levels.

Favan then shared everything that had passed in the room in the last several seconds.

”So?” Aakesh asked when Favan asked him if his background wasnʼt someone who knew the city lord, but he was an ascender from the Primal Dimension.

Aakesh then, without waiting for the groupʼs response, told them to leave the room so a new batch could enter Panagea.

***

Aakesh returned to the relaxation session when the group of people finally left the store.

***

”So, you are a customer from the Primal Dimension?” Richard wanted to leave the store in hurry, fearing for his safety.

Richard had only taken a step outside the store when a voice rang in his ears. He froze in his steps as he turned around.

Soon, some more people in the group came out and surrounded Richard.

”We donʼt have any ill intentions,” Garos explained after seeing Richardʼs pale and frightened face.

What did it matter whether the store owner was someone with a large background? He still had the store, and the feeling of certain death was still there. So even if the store owner was an ascender, things were still the same for them.

Richard didnʼt believe Garosʼs words right away, but he still calmed himself down. He accepted that he was weak in this situation if the store owner didnʼt intervene.

”What do you want from me?” Richard asked. He had lived at the peak of the Primal Dimension for years, so composed majesty came naturally to him.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing on the chair with his eyes closed when the sound of footsteps rang in his ears.

Aakesh opened his eyes and looked in that direction, finding an unfamiliar face entering the store.

”Hello, store owner. I am Clark,” The man seemed to have a goal in mind as he came straight to Aakesh without wasting any time while looking around the store.

”I am Aakesh.”

”Store owner, I want to buy three first-grade lesser Mind Expansion Pills,” The man stated and then began to take out the respective sum from his space ring.

Aakesh nodded as he stood up and went to the pill counter. He took three pills from the tenth shelf on the first row and returned to his chair.

”You need to pay six hundred lesser Sacred stones,” Aakesh announced.

The customer was already aware of the prices, so he had already taken out the respective sum. The man then pushed it toward Aakesh.

Aakesh waved his hands, and soon after, the mountain of stones disappeared into the systemʼs space. Not long after, an alert rang in Aakeshʼs head, informing him about the saleʼs completion.

The man thanked Aakesh and immediately left the store as if he was in a hurry.

Only three seconds at most had passed when the sound of footsteps rang in Aakeshʼs ears once again. He opened his eyes and looked in that direction, and another unfamiliar face greeted his sight.

Similar to the last man, this one had no interest in anything other than the store owner. The man first greeted Aakesh, introduced him, and then requested three Mind Expansion Pills.

Since the storeʼs sale was successful, Aakesh didnʼt care about the man and the reasons for his action.

But soon, even Aakesh became curious, as in a few minutes, Aakesh sold three Mind Expansion Pills several times.

Time flew by, and Aakesh finally found the reason behind the situation, as finally, the master entered the store.

It wasnʼt a non-demon, but a Demon from another group, several notches higher than the Vurron species. In fact, the bloodline difference between the Vurrons and the manʼs race was like the difference between an Emperor and a peasant.

”How did you make it?” The man had a dumbfounded face as he immediately approached Aakesh and asked.

The man was going to grab Aakesh and then ask, but a sudden danger attacking him stopped him.

The man had ashes in his hands, and it wasnʼt difficult for Aakesh to recognize them. The man must have tried to check the composition of the pill as its effects were way beyond anything available at the same level in the market. Unfortunately for the man, he couldnʼt break the systemʼs protection, so once he tried to forcefully separate the pill into its recipe, it turned into ash.

A/N: Sorry, only one chapter! I am going to be busy in the upcoming ten days since itʼs my sisterʼs wedding, and there are many rituals so it will be a long celebration and work.

I will try to release two chapters a day, but I might fail some days to upload even a single chapter. Sorry for the situation!
