Chapter 975: The Swapnamadhu!

The next moment, Aakesh appeared on the spot he had exited Panagea the day before.

Aakesh had been traveling in Panagea for the past month since he needed to reach Lily, and he was only slightly short of half the journey.

Aakesh jumped down the tree after sighting no beasts around him.

Aakesh had been cautious these past few days since he had caught sight of a Level 310 beastʼs corpse, and he had been trying to avoid whoever caused that.

Aakesh had only traveled for a few miles when he heard a roar filled with anger coming from his left.

He would have ignored it, but fate had something else in mind. The next moment, the roar suddenly stopped, and not long after, a bloody smell permeated the area.

Aakesh had only taken a step back when he sensed a danger to his life.

Aakesh hurriedly moved to his right, and the next moment, a projectile passed right where his heart was a moment earlier.

If not for Aakeshʼs great eyesight, he wouldnʼt have even seen the projectile passing through the air.

It wasnʼt a non-living item, but a living creature. It was Venom Wasp. It was one of the wasp species, and extremely poisonous at that.

A frown appeared on Aakeshʼs face as the Venom Wasp was a bred creature and needed othersʼ help to sustain themselves, so if one of it was here, then there were several of it, and there was also one master behind it.

Aakesh looked around him for the source behind the wasp when he suddenly sensed a familiar danger.

Aakeshʼs eyes turned cold as he saw a group of wasps flowing toward him.

Aakesh grabbed the hilt of his sword and took it out of the scabbard tied to his back.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

Aakesh didnʼt wait for the wasps to fly to him, but he reached it before. His sword came down on the wasps like the hands of God as it slashed several of them into two symmetric pieces.

Aakesh seemed to have touched some hornetʼs nest, and the next moment, the sky was covered with Venom Wasps.

There were at least tens of thousands of them, and even the weakest of them was Level 200, while there was one Level 300.

The Level 300 wasp was extremely dangerous for even wasp as its poison would be enough to instantly kill Aakesh.

Aakesh understood there was no point in holding back, so the next moment, a bow appeared in his hands.

Aakesh targeted the Level 300 wasp and aimed the bow toward it.

As Aakesh began to stretch the bowstring, an outline of the arrow started to appear, and when the string touched Aakeshʼs right ear, there was a complete arrow nocked on it.

The arrow wasnʼt ordinary, as it had an arrowhead in the pattern of an active flame; and it was blue in color.

Whoosh!

The arrow flew, tearing through the air and whistling, as Aakesh left his grip on the bowstring.

Chhiss!

As the arrow struck the Level 300 wasp, a blue flame engulfed the creature, creating a burning sound.

The wasp wasnʼt to die without harming Aakesh, so it shot its sting at the end of its life.

Aakesh had already expected the wasp to fight back, so he had already prepared for the attack.

He left the string, and the arrow nocked on the bow, flew tearing through the air.

BOOM!

As the arrow and the sting clashed, an explosion occurred, creating a venomous cloud.

As if the cloud was alive, it tried to engulf Aakesh, but his sword cut through it as if it wasnʼt air.

The cold in Aakeshʼs eyes further deepened, as the sword didnʼt come unscathed out of the clash. Some of it had been corroded, diminishing its sharpness and power by several folds.

Time flew by, and a few minutes passed in the blink of an eye.

After the death of the Level 300 wasp, the battle was more like a massacre, as every arrow shot by him killed a few Venom Wasps.

As Aakesh was killing, he noticed something wrong as the number of wasps wasnʼt diminishing no matter how many he killed, but fortunately for him, there was none above Level 300 in the picture.

Aakesh was like a machine, as he shot one after another and finally a change in the sky happened.

The wasps crazily attacking him, seemed to finally sense the horror of Aakeshʼs arrows, so they began to randomly escape.

A frown appeared on Aakeshʼs face since if someone was controlling the wasps, they shouldnʼt be this out of control in the mid of battle, and if no one was controlling them, then why did they even attack him in such numbers?

Even though Aakesh was thinking like this, his arrows didnʼt stop. The moment these wasps attempted to attack him, they became an enemy, and Aakesh wouldnʼt stop till he killed all of them.

The wasps seemed to turn crazier with each passing moment, and Aakesh finally found what was wrong with them.

It wasnʼt that someone was not controlling them, but there was no Venom Wasp here in the first place.

Of the tens of thousands of wasps flying crazily in the sky, there was one that was different from the others.

It was also a wasp, but a rare species at that. It was the Swapnamadhu, an extremely rare wasp species in the Multiverse.

The Swapnamadhu was the first Wasp species to exist in the Multiverse and one of the first races to exist after Devas.

There had been even less than a hundred of them in existence since their birth. It controlled the element of the Dream.

The wasp in front of Aakesh wasnʼt even Level 250, and yet its mastery of the Dream was there for Aakesh to see.

It had reached such an extent that it created so many Venom wasps and a Level 300 one at that.

Despite being several levels higher than it, he still fell into the illusion and failed to see the correct picture.

Cry!

The next moment, a cry rang in Aakeshʼs head.

Since Aakesh knew the language of Swapnamadhus, he understood it; it was a plea for help.

Aakesh didnʼt care for the rarity of the creature. The moment it attacked him, it sealed its death.

The wasps in the sky turned even crazier while the Swapnamadhu cried even more.

”I will give you a drop of Madhu.”

The statement suddenly rang inside Aakeshʼs head.

Aakeshʼs actions didnʼt stop, but a reply rang inside the creatureʼs head.

”Three drops!”

The Swapnamadhu was only a child, so it complained about Aakesh opening his wolf mouth.

The intensity of Aakeshʼs attacks increased, making the creature cry even more.

Time flew by, and the battle between Aakesh and the Swapnamadhu finally came to an end, as both parties agreed to a deal of two drops of Madhu.

Madhu was a rare item, only found in the Swapnamadhus. Even a single drop of it was so valuable that it was enough to have a slight mastery of the element of the Dream.

Two drops of it would be enough to let Aakesh gain one basic skill related to Dream, so he agreed to the trade.

The element of Dream was on the similar levels of Chaos, as every sentient living being dreamt, and there were countless beings in existence.

The Swapnamadhus could only create a drop of Madhu every century. They also needed them to further enhance their control over the Dream element.

The Swapnamadhu in battle with Aakesh was only four centuries old, so it had only created four drops in total, and it had already fed on two of them.

[Host, your meditation time is about to arrive!]

Aakesh was traveling when the systemʼs emotionless voice rang inside Aakeshʼs head.

Since Aakesh had nothing major stopping him in Panagea, Aakesh first found himself a safe place and then thought of exiting.

The next moment, a white light covered him, and when it disappeared, Aakesh had also left Panagea.

Since Aakesh had asked the system not to place his name on the leaderboard, he wasnʼt there.

Aakesh then left the portal room, and there was already his cultivation mat waiting for him.

Aakeshʼs absorption rate has slightly grown today, so when he began his meditation, he could sense the change.

Time flew by, and several hours passed in the blink of an eye.

The sun finally rose on Thorr and its nearby cities, announcing the start of the day. At the same time, a store also opened its door, with a group of people already there waiting for it.
