The First Store System

Chapter 198: 700 Hours

[Host, please see the quest screen for your new quest!]

The system, in response, created a quest for Aakesh. The next moment, a blue window containing all the details of the new mission objective appeared in front of him.

[Mission objective: Add the number of virtual portals,

Requirement: As a result of the three-day event, the Panagea had become increasingly popular throughout the Bisan Kingdom and some parts of the Primal dimension. So much so that only in the starting few hours of the opening of the store, all the slots had already been taken for the day. To ensure such a craze continues and more people join it, the store owner need to have 700 hours of entry time into Panagea for three days straight,

Mission reward: 100 new virtual portals,

Failure punishment: None.]

Aakesh nodded after reading the quest.

The store stayed open for 15 hours every day, and since there were 50 virtual portals, the total number of entry hours per day can be 750 hours. As part of the quest, Aakesh needed customers to log into the Panagea for 700 hours over three consecutive days. Seeing the crowd completing the quest appeared not to be a problem.

There was only a problem, so he decided to sort it out with the system. ”Hey, system, will today count as one of the three days?”

He asked because if today counted as one day, he would have 100 more virtual portals one day earlier.

[No, Host! Only the days after the issuance of the quest would count.]

The system responded. Aakesh internally heaved a disappointed sigh. He expected the system to answer the same, but it wouldʼve been better for both the store and customers if the system counted today as one of the days.

But now that the system had refused, there was no point in continuing to think about it. Aakesh forgot about it and relaxed himself.

Time flew by, and hours passed. Eris, the winner of the territory event, also arrived in the store to take a look at his territory, but he had to leave with a disappointed face, as all the portals had already gotten filled.

Robert, the third-ranked, also came in the store, but unlike Eris, he didnʼt leave. He started talking with Aakesh about the Panagea and the store.

In response to Robertʼs question, Aakesh as the store owner could not ignore him, so he spoke in detail about the Panagea and other products of his store.

After learning about the benefits of supreme cards, Robert immediately bought one at the low cost of one supreme Primal stone.

Even a treasure that could aid in communication in spite of the resistance from different planes and locations would require several supreme primal stones. Aakesh, on the other hand, sold a card that wasnʼt just capable of calling but also bypassed any anti-teleportation rule.

Even though there was a limitation to the calling function, since only the card holders could contact each other, but it was still a great deal.

Robert also learned about the weapons room, but since the highest level of weapon in the room was King grade, he had no interest in it. After learning about the training area and the price of the Gods & Demons level training, his mouth did not close for a few moments.

He could afford the price of one trillion supreme Primal stones with ease since both his parents were ascenders and had left a huge amount of resources in his name. Since he didnʼt have any family like his parents, he also didnʼt need to save the resources for the future generation, but still, that amount couldnʼt be spent in the spur of a moment.

”Do you think the training at that price is worth it?” Robert asked Aakesh with a solemn face.

”Itʼs up to you to judge. I will only tell you one thing, the store only sells at the price of the productʼs worth,” Aakesh expressionlessly responded. Even a person like him knew how big of an amount was one trillion supreme Primal stones.

In the previous version of the store, he used to sell products with the resource of equal value, so if he were to compare the value of one trillion supreme Primal stones with his previous deals, it would be equivalent to a Universe core.

Robert fell silent after hearing Aakesh. He hated those salesmen who sold their products after exaggerating the value of the product, but right now, he was missing those kinds of salesmen.

Aakeshʼs expressionless response to the product that cost the combined wealth of many of the middle-tier organizations in the Primal dimension felt like he was only selling an ordinary product.

”Has any other customer entered the training arena?”

Robert couldnʼt make up his mind over the decision, so he asked.

”Yes, there had been many, but only two customers had joined the Gods & Demons level training,” Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

After Marie got a breakthrough, her friend also entered the same level of training. Seeing them, many people started joining the training area. Since most of them couldnʼt afford Gods & Demons level training, they joined the lower level of difficulties.

”Are they inside Panagea, or did they leave?” Robert asked in response.

”Theyʼre inside Panagea. You can meet them in four hours,” Aakesh responded.

From today, any customer who died in Panagea wonʼt spawn inside the store. Instead, the system added a place within the Panagea where they would respawn after their deaths and stay there for thirty seconds.

After thirty seconds, they would return to the place they had died.

”What benefits did they get from the system for the training?” Robert asked Aakesh.

If it were any other store, he wouldnʼt have asked this question. It is a personal matter for the customer. But here in a store shrouded in mystery, if someone told him that Aakesh didnʼt know what happened with the customers, he would never believe them.

”One got a breakthrough from late Tao seed to peak Tao seed, and the otherʼs attainment in the Tao of swords had even crossed many Tao Manifestation cultivators,” Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

What Robert believed was only half-correct. Only the system knew everything about the customer. Since he had no interest in what benefits did the customer get, the system never told him.

He only knew about these two because they themselves came to tell him and thanked him for having a product like that in his store.
