The First Store System

Chapter 182: Sudden Auction

”Would you like to sell your territory?” A man asked Maria, breaking her out of her thoughts.

”I would pay one superior Primal stone for the territory,” The man added with a smug look on his face. He could sense the Nascent Soul level of Maria, and he himself was a Tao Manifestation expert, so he thought that Maria wouldnʼt dare to refuse. That was also the reason he offered a low price of one superior Primal stone for it.

”No!” Maria bluntly refused his offer, making his face red from embarrassment.

”Donʼt refuse my offer so early?” The man added, but his tone had entirely changed. The next moment, he leaked a hint of his power so that Maria could see the difference between them.

”I would pay two superior Primal stones,” He smilingly added after he saw Mariaʼs face had turned pale due to his power affecting her.

Before Maria could respond, a sudden pressure arrived on the man and forced him to kneel on the ground. The more he resisted, the intense it became.

Finally, the man couldnʼt face the pressure anymore, so he lost consciousness and fell face first on the ground.

Maria looked at Aakesh with gratitude in her eyes, but the only thing she noticed in his eyes was indifference for her gratitude.

”Those who want to buy territories from the winning participant could present their offers to her, but if anyone dared to intimidate her, they would face even worse consequences than this man,” Aakesh expressionlessly announced.

Unlike the other rewards in the past events, the territory was a special reward. It wasnʼt a permanent property of the winner.

Even in Panagea, when the protection period ends, the other Kingdoms around the territory would attack it to snatch it. So maintaining the status quo was several times more difficult than winning the territory.

He had expected other people to try to buy the reward from the winner since, in every event, a wealthy person attempted to buy the rewards, so it wasnʼt anything new.

Unlike other rewards, it wouldnʼt be blood-bound, so Aakesh didnʼt stop the people from trying to buy the territory from any of the participants.

Many gasped in shock after hearing the sudden announcement. Wouldnʼt it mean that the participantʼs efforts for over 50 years were worth less than some riches?

The shock only stayed for a moment. The next moment, everyone became curious as to how much the territory would sell for if the winners decided to sell them.

”Miss, how about 100 superior Primal stones for your territory?”

Right after Aakeshʼs announcement, one of the participants presented their offer to Maria.

”Hmph, 100 superior Primal stones, stay silent if you donʼt know the value of the treasure,” Another participant scoffed, hearing the offer of the man. ”Miss, sell it to me for 100 supreme Primal stones,” He then himself made the offer.

Maria became dumbstruck hearing the sudden offers from the two participants. She had no interest in selling her territory, which she had gained after so much effort for some Primal stones.

”111 supreme Primal stones!” Another participant made their offer.

None of the participants focused on Eris and Robert. Since both of them were the peak of the Primal dimension, no one dared to present them an offer, while the case for Maria was entirely different. She was a low-level cultivator and a nobody in this tiny Kingdom.

Maria had a dumbfounded expression, but the participants ignored it and continued making their offers.

”124 supreme Primal stones!”

”125 supreme Primal stones!”

…

”133 supreme Primal stones!”

…

”1200 supreme Primal stones!”

…

”10,000 supreme Primal stones!”

”11,000 supreme Primal stones!”

”One million supreme Primal stones!” Right at that time, a familiar voice echoed in the area.

The participants couldnʼt help but curse after seeing the identity of the person who made such an outrageous offer.

It was Robert who made the offer. He thought if anyone could buy the territory, why not he himself buy it and rule two territories at the same time. Additionally, he decided to ask the first-ranked winner if he was interested in selling his territory.

Seeing the look of frustration and anger on the faces of many participants after his offer, he didnʼt control himself and let out a hearty laugh. He then provoked them, ”Whatʼre you looking at? Come, bite me.”

He majored in divinity, so his nature should be calm, but spending several decades in a solitary world and hunting creatures made his temperament wild.

Eris only looked at the happenings since he had no interest in buying the territories. He was content with a single territory.

While Maria had a dumbfounded look after hearing Robertʼs outrageous offer. Even a single supreme Primal stone was enough for her to buy several Kingdoms like the Bisan Kingdom in the actual world, but for a territory in the virtual world, she could get a million supreme Primal stones.

”Control yourself. You would earn more than this from the territory,” Maria screamed inside her mind to calm herself.

She understood that if someone was willing to offer such an outrageous amount, then the value of the territory should be even more than that.

She finally calmed herself, but the next offer made not only her but the majority of the crowd speechless.

”A supreme mine,” Seeing Maria not speaking anything, Robert made another offer.

A supreme mine could not only give billions of supreme Primal stones through its life, but it also birthed soul stones(The same soul stones that births Moya race).

Aakesh didnʼt feel the offer was any special because Maria had won the second-ranked territory, and it would give birth to several resources more than the value of the supreme mine.

Maria looked ready to accept the offer since the offer broke the shield of persistence of refusal she had created for her, but the next moment, Evelyn whispered something into her ears.

”Thank you for such an offer, but Iʼve no interest in selling my territory,” She respectfully told Robert. Even though she had won the second rank, Robert, despite not showing any signs of energy, looked like an endless mountain to her, so she didnʼt dare disrespect him.

”Hmph,” Robert only scoffed in response to her refusal.. He knew he had broken her limit, but Evelyn told her something which was more valuable than his offer, so he accepted his loss.
