The First Store System

Chapter 153: The Protection

After Aakesh announced the end of the second-day events, the crowd started leaving one by one.

Since the crowd only had to think of leaving and they would appear at the exit of the store, in no time, all the chairs except five turned empty.

Only the group of Moya was left in the store. They didnʼt leave with others because they were worried that they had gotten exposed during the event. They took the risk of exposing themselves despite knowing the consequences of it, but now that they had done this and everyone had left, the fear of the consequences seeped through them.

”No one would hurt you until the event continues,” Aakesh commented, seeing the group continuing to sit in the store despite the passing of several seconds.

”We heard that tomorrow is the last day. Does that mean from the day after tomorrow, people can try to hunt us?” The leader of the group nervously asked in response.

”Yes! Now leave,” Aakesh expressionlessly responded and snapped his fingers.

The next moment, before the group could respond, they found themselves on the door facing the outside.

They turned around to look at the store, but they found the door got shut on their face.

”What should we do, boss?” One member of the group asked.

”Letʼs spend the night in one of the motels here. Weʼll decide what to do after the event ends tomorrow,” The leader of the group calmly replied in response.

She looked calm on the outside, but in her mind, she was thinking about what to do since the class wouldnʼt take effect unless she completes her first quest in Panagea, unlike some of the classes that would only take effect with just the entry into Panagea.

She then took a deep breath to calm her mind, but the danger she was in didnʼt let her feel calm.

She was a late Soul Emperor, the level equivalent to Tao Palace in the Qi cultivation system, while the other four in her group were between late to peak Soul King(Tao Manifestation in Qi cultivation system), so they werenʼt afraid of any Tao Palace level cultivator, but she had seen several talented Heavenly Monarch on the platform, whom she and her group could only dream to defeat despite being one of the most talented Moya of the current generation.

Since she couldnʼt do anything other than leave, so she left. The other members of the group also silently followed her.

Right after she left, a group of three people appeared not far from where the group of Moya was a moment before.

”Found you!” A hoarse voice echoed in the area, and the next moment, the group disappeared into the darkness of the night.

Aakesh could see the group of three when they were in hiding, but since the winner who had won any event was under the protection of the system till the event continued, he didnʼt do anything. He closed the door and then decided to check the quest status.

The next moment, a blue screen containing all the details of the quest appeared in front of him.

[Mission Objective: Organize a competition for the citizens of the Bisan Kingdom and other people,

Requirement: Since youʼve suggested that the store should organize a competition to promote the store, itʼs now your duty to organize it with the maximum possible zeal and fervor so that everyone irrespective of their level can enjoy it,

Minimum numbers of attendees: 2000,

Current attendees: 1524,

Event time: Three days,

Time left: One day,

Mission reward: A new product, addition in varieties in pills, and thirty-five new virtual portals,

Failure punishment: Commission reduced by 100% for a year.]

”476 more participants more,” Aakesh murmured after seeing the quest screen.

If he wanted to complete the quest, he would only need 476 more participants. He not only wanted to achieve the mission requirement, but he also wanted to win a bonus reward as well, so he needed more than 2000 participants to at least get a good bonus reward.

Tomorrow he had some rewards that would make even the higher-level races crazy, so he was confident of achieving the target. But if he still failed after that, he would only have his luck to blame.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and the next moment, the quest screen disappeared.

He then turned around to proceed to his room when he suddenly stopped in his steps as he got an alert from the system.

[Host, one of the winning participants, faced a life-threatening attack from a group. As per the storeʼs commitment to the winner to protect them during the three-day event, the system has killed their attackers.]

The voice of the system in its emotionless tone echoed inside his head.

”They had bad luck,” Aakesh nonchalantly whispered after getting the alert. Since he had no interest in how it happened, he forgot about it and left for his room.

”The store owner saved us,” One of the members in the group replied after heaving a relieved sigh. Her group was looking at the three mounds of ashes were lying not far from them.

She had a weapon in her hand and was ready to attack anytime, but no one in her group was confident of coming out alive after the conflict with the attacking group since the leader of that group was late Tao Palace, while the other two members were both early Tao Palace.

A moment earlier, they were in precarious circumstances when they suddenly found themselves surrounded by a group of three experts. However, the situation soon turned in their favor when one of the men launched an attack on their leader.

The next moment, a giant golden eye appeared in the sky. The eye directly looked at the group of three without any kind of emotion.

They didnʼt even know what happened as the next moment, all three members of the group turned into mounds of their ashes. The giant golden eye disappeared after that.

”Yes, we would thank the store owner tomorrow,” The leader replied in response.

Time flew by, and the sun arrived and shined the entire Anga continent, making the darkness of the night hide.

As expected, many people stayed the night near the store not to miss any events since there wasnʼt a determined schedule.
