Chapter 176: The Top Three(2)

”Clang!”

”Clang!”

”Clang!”

The sound of metal clashing continuously rang in the area as Elasha battled her opponent using a sword.

She was currently in her first black dungeon and was fighting against the leader.

Her opponent belonged to the Ida race.

Ida was one of the upper-tier races of the Primal dimension due to their knowledge of swords.

Idas had a humanoid body structure, but instead of hands, they had two swords made up of bones. They were born like this, and from the moment they took birth, they surpassed the majority of the beings when it came to knowledge related to the sword.

Elasha was currently fighting against such an opponent. Since she was a single sword user, and her opponent used both hand swords, many times she failed to defend, and some wounds would appear on her body.

Elasha swung the sword, the Ida blocked it using his left hand and swung his right hand to cause severe injuries to her.

She backed two steps away to dodge it. Unfortunately for her, Ida had way more knowledge about sword fighting so she could find a weak point, but fortunately for her, Idas had weaknesses since they couldnʼt learn anything other than sword skills, but this wasnʼt the case for Elasha.

She backed two steps more and chanted a mantra in a foreign language. The next moment, a purple circle appeared below the feet of the Ida.

The Ida didnʼt care and simply cut the magic itself. Before he could think of anything else, the air in the dungeon suddenly turned hot.

The Ida suddenly felt the danger to his life coming from above his head, so he looked up in the sky, but there was nothing.

Ida expressionlessly stared at Elasha, chanting something. He understood she mustʼve used some skills.

”Tau ktdd yft-”

The Ida spoke something in his language, but his words came to a sudden halt as the sky suddenly turned darker, and the area became hotter.

He looked up in the sky again, only to see a meteor coming toward him with unimaginable speed.

He then looked at Elasha to find that a golden light had engulfed her.

He decided to kill the chanter first and then think about the meteor, so the next moment, he appeared in front of her and swung both of his hands in the X shape.

The golden light that had engulfed her was able to hold the attack, but with the attack, it also disappeared.

But instead of feeling happy, a tense feeling emerged in Idaʼs heart as he noticed a smile spreading across Elashaʼs face.

The next moment, he made the same attack, but before it could reach him, Elasha suddenly dissolved into the ground, making his strike pass through the air.

Before Ida could feel shocked, he felt something right above his head. He tried to look up to see how close the meteor had gotten, but before he even raised half of his hand, an explosion occurred.

”Boom!”

The meteor smashed Ida to the ground, and then it exploded.

An explosion of such a level was sure to kill anybody, but Ida wasnʼt anybody. He was the leader of the dungeon.

He survived the attack that had enough power to destroy a world, but he lost one of his hands while trying to save himself.

”Oh, you survived the attack.”

A familiar voice rang in the area as Elasha suddenly appeared from the ground right behind the Ida.

Before Ida could turn around, a sword punched a hole in his chest.

He looked down and saw a sword filled in gray blood coming out from his chest.

Since Ida was a high-level being, he wouldnʼt die by just his heart getting crushed, so Elasha took out the sword and severed his head.

Despite losing both the head and heart, the Ida survived for a month.

Every time his body would regenerate, Elasha would cut him. Finally, after a long month of struggle, Ida lost energy to restore his body and died as a result.

”Finally...”

Elasha murmured while gasping for breath. Over the last month, she kept cutting him without stopping, which took a lot of energy. Finally, she could rest free.

The next moment, a thick stream of black energy emerged from the dead Ida and engulfed her.

She couldnʼt help but moan in pleasure after the familiar energy filled her body. She felt as if she had gained something her body had been searching for for a while.

The next moment, all the exhaustions she had been feeling disappeared, and an excited expression appeared on her face.

Since it was her first clear of the black dungeon, she expected a good reward from the red egg.

She took a step forward since the red egg spawned where he had severed the head of the Ida a month earlier.

She bent down and picked up the red egg from the ground. Without waiting for anything, she crushed it, and the next moment, a card appeared in her hand.

The card showed her the reward she had gotten. She got a passive skill as a reward.

It was one of the skills Julian had gotten, ʼInfinite Energyʼ. The system added the rewards of the participants who died in the dungeon back, and Elasha was one of the participants to get such a prize.

”What a great reward!” She couldnʼt help but jump in excitement after seeing the details of the skill.

”Future hunts would be easier from now on,” She whispered to herself and left the dungeon.

She started searching for another black dungeon as soon as she left the dungeon because she couldnʼt wait to feel unlimited energy while fighting.

Time flew by, and another ten years passed. It has been thirty-four years since the event began, and currently, only 268 participants were left alive fighting for the top three.

Out of the 268 participants, around 200 participants were now going to enter the black dungeon, so they had already lost the rewards.

Other remaining participants had already hunted multiple black dungeons, while one was already searching for the golden dungeon to clear the event.

Since there was only a single gold dungeon in the entire world, Eris had been searching for one for the last six months.

In his journey, he came across many black dungeons, and in each of the dungeons, he had more than 80% chance of clearing it, so he didnʼt stop and continued his journey.
