The First Store System

Chapter 177: The Top Three(3)

Time flew by, and another three months passed.

After searching for more than nine months, Eris finally found the gold dungeon.

His mouth and eyes flew wide open when he found the gold crack.

It was a crack of endless height. Despite becoming stronger enough to clear the black dungeons, Eris couldnʼt see the end of the crack.

Even from the last point of the world, a crack like that should be visible, but only when he was a step away from it did he see it.

The next moment, the blue screen acted, and his completing chances appeared on it.

{Dungeon Level: Gold,

Chances of clearing: 0% chance of clearing it without having any injury, 0% of mild injuries,0% chances of clearing the dungeon with severe wounds, 100% chances of dying in the start(failing the dungeon), 0% chance of dying in the middle, and 0% of dying while fighting the leader.}

Eris couldnʼt help but suck a cold breath of air after seeing his chances at the gold dungeon.

According to the skill, he was sure to die at the start and fail the event. Since it had never been wrong, Eris decided to trust it and turned around to leave.

He would clear all the black dungeons, and only then he would come here to hunt it.

Time flew by, and sixteen more years passed.

It has been fifty years inside the store since the event had begun, but only around five hours had passed in reality.

The total number of participants that participated in this event was 292,748, way beyond the number Aakesh had hoped for. Out of these participants, only eleven participants were left alive in the event.

Out of the eleven, four were the storeʼs regular customers. They were Maria, Evelyn, Elasha, and George.

Pento, who was the reason for Aakesh organizing this event, failed to clear a black dungeon and lost his life as well as his chance at the throne of the Bisan Kingdom.

Lenna, who was also playing well in the event, lost her life due to her luck playing the spoilsport for her.

She cleared multiple black dungeons, but like Julian, she came across a single opponent dungeon, which proved to be an unwinnable battle for her, and she got disqualified from the event.

Eris had been hunting the black dungeons for the past fifteen years to increase his chances at clearing the gold dungeon.

Today, he decided to check his chances at clearing the gold dungeon again since he had been unable to find any black dungeon during the past few months.

Since Eris already remembered where the gold dungeon was, he used the teleportation skill he had gotten from one of the black dungeons as the reward, and the next moment, he appeared just a step away from the gold dungeon.

As usual, he didnʼt have to use his talent, it activated automatically, and the blue screen floating in front of him had changes.

{Dungeon Level: Gold,

Chances of clearing: 70% chance of clearing it without having any injury, 20% of mild injuries,10% chances of clearing the dungeon with severe wounds, 0% chances of dying in the start(failing the dungeon), 0% chance of dying in the middle, and 0% of dying while fighting the leader.}

”Finally!” Eris couldnʼt help but exclaim in excitement after seeing his chances of clearing the dungeon was 100%.

”First position, here I come,” He whispered to himself and touched the golden crack.

The next moment, a suction force he had never experienced before appeared and sucked him in.

”Aagh!”

He couldnʼt help but scream as this time, he felt his body disintegrating and then regenerating countless times in less than a moment.

”Why would you torture me?” He couldnʼt help but yell as the feeling was no less than the most painful torture.

He then exhaled and inhaled continuously to calm himself down. Only several moments later, his mind and heart calm down.

Only then did he take a look at his surroundings.

”Eh!”

A confused expression appeared on his face as he found himself in an empty space where there was neither land nor sky.

No matter how far he looked in whichever direction, he only found endless empty space.

It was only darkness, but somehow he could clearly see despite not using any kind of skill.

”Void!”

He exclaimed in shock as this word suddenly appeared in his mind.

”Am I going to face the Void Beast?”

His face turned pale as he suddenly murmured.

He even forgot that he had a 100% chance of clearing the dungeon when the name of Void Beast appeared in his mind.

Void Beasts were the protector of the void. They didnʼt belong to any race, so there was no faction related to them.

There were only eleven Void Beasts each in the Primal and Sacred dimensions. Only a few beings in the entire Multiverse know about their origin, and Aakesh was one of them.

When the newest born Deva slew Vritrasura, they took out a drop of his blood, and using that blood, they created twenty-two creatures in whatever shape they desired.

Those twenty-two creatures became known as the Void Beasts.

The Deva then put eleven creatures into the Primal dimension and the other eleven into the Sacred.

Despite this, the power gap between both groups was large. The Deva only used 1% of the bloodʼs energy to create eleven Void Beasts of the Primal dimension, while the other eleven used the rest 99%.

Even though those eleven Void Beasts only took 1% of the drop of bloodʼs energy, they still became so powerful that each Void Beast could contend with the weaker deities and still survive.

Since the Deva put their character into the Void Beasts, they also started staying in recluse and only appeared when the dimension faced something strong enough to destroy it.

”Calm down! If it were a Void Beast, you wouldnʼt have gotten a 100% chance of clearing the event,” Eris murmured to motivate himself and calm his heart down.

He took continuous deep breaths to calm his heart after that, but instead of calming, he grew more fearful thinking about the Void Beast as the opponent.

Eris knew he was doing a mistake, thinking about them, but despite that, he couldnʼt control himself and continued thinking about the Void Beasts.
