Chapter 151: Second Class Event

After all the participants that participated for the class, Beast Summoner returned to their chairs. Aakeshʼs eyes then fell on the next group of participants.

This group of participants joined in the queue for the class Alchemist.

The class, Alchemist gave adventurers the knowledge to make pills of all the categories depending upon their level.

Fifty-six participants joined the event for the alchemy, the second highest after the 63 for the class Beast Summoner.

Aakesh pointed at the group to step forward, and the group of 56 participants stepped forward after nodding.

”The next event would be for the participants who wish to win the Alchemist class,” Aakesh announced. All the other groups shook their heads disappointedly as their event was still far away.

”In the event, the participants would need to show their skills in pill making of the inferior grade.”

”The participant who creates the most number of pills in thirty minutes above or equal to the second-grade would win the event.”

”Every second-grade inferior pill would grant you ten points, first-grade 100 points, and if youʼre able to make a medium level pill, then 1000 points,” Aakesh announced.

All the participants had confused expressions after Aakesh stopped speaking since many of the participants here could even make second-grade medium pills in reality. There was also one woman in this group of participants who could even make a third-grade top pill.

She was one of the princesses like Brinda of the Bisan Kingdom. Her name was Bintu, and she was the youngest princess of the Kingdom. Only Pento was younger than her in the entire royal family.

Unlike other princes and princesses, she had no interest in any kind of thing related to combat. Instead, her interest was in alchemy.

Aakesh also noticed the confusion on the participantʼs faces. To clear their confusion, Aakesh announced, ”When you enter the portal, you would forget any knowledge you have related to the making of the pill. You would get a recipe, the materials needed for the pill, and then you would get thirty minutes to make as many as you could with only the help of recipe and your wit.”

Wry smiles appeared on the participantʼs faces after hearing Aakeshʼs next announcement. How can they even think that the event would be simple after seeing so many events?

”You can enter,” Aakesh ordered and pointed at fifteen participants standing in front.

The participants nodded and entered their respective portals.

The black screen lightened up after the entry of the participants. The crowd could see that participants had appeared in a simple room where there was only a table and an alchemy forge.

After the participants appeared in the alchemy room, they found out that as Aakesh had told them, they didnʼt know anything about alchemy, even the tiniest knowledge.

They couldnʼt just stand there since they had a time limit, so they took deep breaths and reached out to the folded paper lying on the top of the table.

They unfolded the paper and found it was the recipe of one of the most basic, ʼHealing pillʼ. It helped the user heal small cuts or wounds right away.

The ingredients for the pill were turmeric, bee honey, clarified butter(Cow), and Aloe vera.

(A/N: Please donʼt try this at home. Only one of these is enough for if youʼve got a small cut or open wound.)

After the name of the ingredients, the steps that needed to be taken were written on the paper. They only had to think of the ingredients, and the next moment, all the ingredients in a pair appeared on the table.

The participants didnʼt wait after that and started following the steps written on the paper.

It only took around 45 seconds to make a pill after following the steps on the paper, but the grade of the pill was only a third-grade inferior pill. Since the participants at least needed second-grade pills for points, they threw it away and started making another one.

After a few minutes, the participants stopped following the steps as written as on the paper. Since they understood that they would never be able to create a pill above third-grade inferior if they followed it, they started thinking of ways to add to the steps and create the required pill.

Time flew by, and thirty minutes passed. Since the time limit was over, the system forced the participant out of the alchemy room. The next moment, they appeared on the platform.

All of the fifteen participants had disappointed faces since the event didnʼt go the way theyʼd planned. They wouldnʼt have felt this much disappointment if they wouldnʼt have paid a whopping sum of ten top Primal stones for the event.

The next moment, there were some changes on the virtual projection next to the platform. A few moments later, the name Louise appeared on the projection.

Louise was the only participant in the first group whoʼd succeeded in making a second-grade inferior pill. He could only create one pill, but since he was the only participant to have points, only his name appeared on the virtual projection.

Louise had no happy expression, seeing his name on the projection, since he was confident that only ten points werenʼt enough to even compete with many in the group of participants, let alone win.

Aakesh had nothing to do with what they did and gained in the event, so he ignored their reactions and called the second group for participation.

After the next group entered, a disgruntled expression appeared on the faces of the few participants. They had thought that Aakesh wouldnʼt take away their memories of the scenes they had seen of the first group of participants, but how could the system leave such a loophole for the participants. It took that memory away too.

Time flew by, and an hour passed. Out of the 56 participants, 45 had already participated, and only 11 were left to participate.

On the virtual projection, there were seven names. Out of the seven names, four only came from the third group.

The name on the top of the list was Bisal. He made 4 second-grade pills, and somehow he got fortunate enough to create a first-grade pill.

Time flew by. The last group also completed their participation.

Bislo won the competition after creating three first-grade inferior pills and won the class Alchemist as the reward.
