Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 120: Chapter 1 Cortez, Haifasardo, and Saral United Kingdom were established

At midnight, Hill, who had long been restless, received a message from List: ”Sir, a short message from Mr. Fran.

There indeed is an aroma from the Abyss, but it’s not very strong.

You stay there until both Phillips and Hensley have left, then gather for a few more days.

Keep an eye on the Undead Tribe.

His Majesty the King should be sending someone over.”

”Understood,” Hill replied listlessly, ”List, stack all the Crystal Stones in the territory’s storage at the Defensive Magic Array.

Tell the three clan leaders not to separate the new elements for a short period.

Make sure Alice and Merkel are well instructed, especially Alice, she must not leave the valley at all.

Listening to my grandfather’s intent, there should be some time left. The town outside the valley, remember to activate the Purification Array every few days.

Increase the resource supply to the villagers, hoping they all become Professionals.”

Hill stood up: ”Tell Uncle Adrian for me that if the situation turns dire, Boen’s Purification Potions are to be five portions, coming from me.

List, have the Undead Tribe in the territory run an errand to deliver resources sufficient for two knights to Boen.”

”How should I tell him that? This matter still needs to be confidential, right?” List asked.

”No need to say anything, Boen will know there might be trouble once he gets it.”

Hill clenched his teeth: ”The town on the Black and White Path will definitely build a church in the future, they can’t do without the Teleportation Array.

But they want to gain an advantage now, and won’t build it in the short term.

Once the Teleportation Array is active, I’ll find an opportunity to return once.

Cohen has to be sent back.”

Cohen, who had been standing quietly on the shelf, chirped discontentedly.

”If something really happens, I’d be worried about you,” Hill said earnestly, ”It would affect my escape speed.”

Cohen cried out a few times in sadness but nodded in agreement.

”Sir, you should come back!” List said, ”Saying all this, don’t you feel something ominous?”

”That’s not possible,” Hill said firmly, ”Would I just run before anything happens?

If there was danger, granddad wouldn’t have let me stay at all.

I’m out here to gain experience! If I just ran away like that, granddad would be laughed at eventually.”

Hill felt he had to shut up, afraid of the stance he’d taken.

”Enough about that, can’t I run if there’s trouble?” he pointed at the Legendary Puppet standing in the hall, ”There’s absolutely no problem with surviving.”

List spoke weakly: ”You should really shut up.”

List quickly cut off the connection, deciding to pretend Hill hadn’t said any of those crazy things.

With all that commotion, Hill’s heavy mood had been blown away; he sat quietly by the window, watching the lively scene outside.

Although it was almost dawn, it seemed these players did not plan to rest, probably all waiting to watch William’s expedition.

The stars gradually disappeared, and the sun began to rise.

The players below were bustling.

”William’s ship is truly huge! It’s even bigger than our spacecraft, right?”

”There’s even folding space inside! Wouldn’t it be great if we also had one?!”

Hill suddenly laughed: A spacecraft! When I was unlucky, the country’s manned spacecraft had just taken off!

”They’ve crossed the Haifasardo border! **, why aren’t those bastards turning on the Magic Arrow Towers?”

”So they just surrendered like that!”

Someone looked up, seeing Hill curiously peering out the window and asked, ”Mr. Hill! You went to Haifasardo last time, right? What are they doing? Why isn’t there any resistance?”

”The Haifasardo nobles have almost all fled,” Hill answered with a smile, ”Magic Arrow Towers don’t affect His Majesty the King’s ships at all. They had no choice but to give up.”

”They all fled? Why? Is Saral that frightening?”

”The King of Haifasardo announced to the world all the noble names who participated in the Rose Temple battle against Saral.

With intermarriages among the nobles, there were hardly any who weren’t involved.

They were scared that if His Majesty the King couldn’t punish the main culprits, he would take it out on their relatives.

So they all ran.”

”The mad king, huh? He wants no one to survive?”

”Surrender all along the way! All raised white flags. No wonder William didn’t let us go.”

”William’s ship is so fast! Almost as fast as flying ourselves.”

”William is rich! He can burn Crystal Stones like nobody’s business!”

”That’s true.”

”They’ve reached the Capital now!”

The noise erupted, Hill couldn’t help it, he was about to find a player to follow and watch, when a large screen was erected on the exterior wall of the Lord’s Mansion on the Black and White Path, facing the corridor.

”These idiots of the Black and White Path, they’re finally up!” someone cursed, ”I thought they were planning to sleep till tomorrow.”

”Shouldn’t the Ink Brush be blamed?” someone shouted, ”This is controlled by our leader! What does it have to do with us, we’re also waiting.”

”Your leader, don’t you call the shots?”

”The Ink Brush, that pig, who can wake him when he’s asleep!”

”Stop arguing, it’s starting, watch the show!”

The screen lit up.

William’s massive ship loomed threateningly over the Palace of Haifasardo.

The smoke from the Crystal Cannons on the ship had not yet cleared, and the Capital’s protective shield of Haifasardo had already been completely shattered.

Were there no Legendary Mages left? It broke that easily.

”William! You bastard!” came the yelling from the palace, ”I did not attack Saral on behalf of the Royal Family of Haifasardo. You have no right to seek revenge against the entire Royal Family!”

”Ah! But I want to be the King of Haifasardo!” William’s airy voice floated out.
