Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1069: Chapter 175: Malignant Clone 2

The malicious cloning is also more famously known as - Clone Revolution!

Although compared to the much-loathed Mechanical Revolution in the interstellar society; the ’Clone Revolution’ is more of an enormous social topic that has always been studied by scholars and experts of various civilizations.

After all, no matter how harmful it might become, it doesn’t cause harm to other civilizations.

And its uniqueness has made it very attractive to many sociologists.

No matter what kind of clone society it is, it is a world created through cloning, and its ethics and morality are weaker than those of a normal civilization.

According to the civilization panel, social morality is -20%.

If you are a clone, what is your relationship with the cloned subject, legitimate offspring? Spouse? Slave? Personal property?

If you are the cloned subject, do your property rights have to be shared with the clone? Besides property rights, what about your social identity? If he uses your social account or ID to solicit prostitutes and gets caught, will you be responsible?

Can hive mind be applied to clone civilization?

Can militarism accelerate the evolution of clone civilization?

Can Gestalt thinking completely resolve the ethics of clones?

Could completely replicating the social status of the previous civilization light up the technology tree of prior civilizations and even achieve civilization ascension?

Could other types of civilizations reproduce the social structure of advanced clone civilizations to repeat that of advanced civilizations?

In the eyes of those unaware, clones and cloned civilizations probably all look similar, and their development is expected to be roughly the same.

But for those who have a certain understanding of clone culture, the societal forms of each cloned civilization are completely different, with not even a single point of similarity.

So, every type of clone revolution is entirely different.

And the reason the Green Widow spontaneously mentioned ’malicious cloning’ is largely due to her understanding of the origin of the ’Walter Clan’.

Old Walter had told her that he himself was born into a Level 3 Cloned Civilization on the brink of a ’Clone Revolution’.

The reason he was sent out was to conduct a ’project’ deemed forbidden by clone societies, known as body cloning.

What he was supposed to do was to periodically send information about ’self-cloning’ back to the civilization for research purposes.

In some sense, what he was doing was similar to the ’Cyber Test Field’.

However, the Level 3 Civilization he was part of lacked the capability to create a nurturing environment akin to a ’civilization vacuum’ planetary civilization.

His operation was more like an underground experiment.

Old Walter told him that the most pressing issue with ’self-cloning’ was that as the power of the clone increased, the same gene sequence would resonate, and once genetic resonance occurred, memory, emotion, and consciousness would fully resonate, leading to large-scale consciousness disorder.

Moreover, this ’resonance’ would quickly propagate among different clones.

In the clone civilization he was previously part of, this kind of ’resonance’ phenomenon had already led to serious social issues.

Therefore, the higher-ups decided to conduct human experiments in this area, and he was chosen.

As the main body continued to be cloned, the probability of resonance occurring also continued to rise.

Walter’s high-level staff was actually far more than 100 people; in fact, since Old Walter started the clan, there have been as many as a thousand Tier 3 cadres developed.

It’s just that many clones within showed signs of ’resonance’ and were physically destroyed by Old Walter.

And ’Endless Cloning’ was actually the forbidden technology developed through these countless experiments.

However, 50 planetary years ago, the clone civilization behind Old Walter suddenly lost contact with him, according to Old Walter, there are two possibilities for this –

One, the Clone Revolution within that civilization had fully erupted, and the civilization project he was part of was abandoned.

The other possibility was that this clone civilization resolved their social issues and achieved civilization ascension, turning all clones within that civilization into Tier 4 Clones.

However, the probability of the latter was very low because if civilization ascension had occurred, he should have become a Tier 4 Species instead of having his main body killed by ’Kun’s Child’.

This is where civilization technology is unreasonable, where the ascension of one leads to the ascension of everyone and everything around.

All these thoughts flashed through the mind of the Green Widow, and upon seeing the other party exhibit ’resonance,’ she realized that this once number one clan strongman was now completely useless.

However, she didn’t show her intent to kill, instead, she spoke with a grave expression:

”The Calamity Corps have entered the planet, and Old Walter is about to awaken, I need your help now!”

Faced with the two formidable foes, the consciousness of the various number 3 clones barely reached a consensus, and they spoke in unison:

”What do you need me to do?”

The Green Widow removed her outerwear, revealing a body that filled humanoid creatures with mating desires, although her lower abdomen was slightly swollen.

”I need your blood and bones, to quickly mature my baby, who will inherit everything from Old Walter, unlock the flesh treasure, and save this planet!”

...

Meanwhile, outside the highest-level clone laboratory in the Long-horned Whale Alpha,

In the eyes of number 99, who was both anxious and anticipating, footsteps slowly sounded, and after that, the door was pushed open, and an elder with a sinister face walked out.

He looked similar to all ’Walters’ in appearance, yet the trademark silver hook nose and the gloomy long eyes always left a deep impression.

Being able to create the Cloners Clan out of nothing, even under the threat of countless enemies, to capture a resource planet, made Old Walter a true interstellar hero in the 3rd Stellar Vortex.

He had a prestige of more than 100,000.

And after Old Walter appeared, number 99 noticeably breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that consciousness transfer was successful.

Old Walter donned the iconic black cloak, and number 99 followed behind, feverishly asking:

”Godfather, should we now get rid of those adulterous couple?”

”No, first we go to open the flesh dinner party,” saying this, Old Walter’s face suddenly changed; his memories about the ’dinner party’ suddenly became a bit blurred.

As he started to trace back that part of his memory, the scene before his eyes suddenly split into several pieces.

In a castle known only to a few, a nobly dressed Old Walter stood observing an opulent mirror, holding a Civilized Stick.

The ’Old Walter’ in the mirror stroked the star energy conduit of the planet cannon, looking skyward with a playful expression.

And within the energy atmosphere, an Old Walter clad in a space suit stepped out of a concealed space station, glaring viciously down below.

And in the direction his gaze fell upon, was an energy mine, and within the mine, inside a cave entirely made from premium energy stones, an Old Walter dressed in coarse cloth slowly opened his eyes.

As the primary consciousness, Old Walter abruptly withdrew his gaze, livid with rage.

”’Resonance,’ damn it! This bitch awakened all my clones!”

...

The players were unaware of the bosses clashing, all they knew was that they struck it rich!

”Holy crap, the handful of dirt I casually picked up turned out to be a high-energy composite with an energy content of 71%.”

”If this were still in the Asteroid Belt, I’d have to dig through a meteorite the size of a mountain to have a small chance of picking up a high-level energy stone.”

”This isn’t a planet, it’s literally a planet-shaped resource point!”

”I’ll pick! I’ll pick! I’ll pick until the end!”

A million-strong army charged into the planet with imposing momentum, unanimously and with a common goal, the first thing they did was to stoop down and pick up trash everywhere!

To hell with the alliance task, I won’t do it!
