Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1062: Chapter 168: Space War 3

’Battle report, battle report, coordinates ”Shield Generator” location, engaged with Hulk, number of people: 500, wiped out!’

’Second battle report, enemy stormed into the ”Signal Emitter Platform”, forcibly destroyed the Signal Tower, our side failed to defend it, and the death toll reached the size of four soccer fields, cutting off our signal communication with the other two interstellar fortresses.’

’Third battle report, the laser firing system in East District 1 was destroyed, the enemy is descending along the energy storage unit path, casualties unknown, but I smelled a trail of roasted meat.’

’Fourth battle report, the turbine group in Fortress East 4th District was bombed, a quarter of a fortress platform has sunk, and in that area, all respawn players are temporarily unable to log in.’

’Fifth battle report, our high-end players organized 1,500 people trying to gang up on the boss, but unfortunately got surrounded by the boss and almost completely wiped out, however, we managed to take out half the veins of one Green-skinned. This Green-skinned looks like [Image 1][Image 2], focus your attacks on it!’

’Sixth battle report, our NPCs have been deployed, a level 60 Biomechanical Hunter, level 60 Emperor’s Guard, and the Construct Corps, although our line is retreating fast, hold on, victory will definitely be ours!!’

In this ’Dungeon’, there are three large respawn points, which are three interstellar fortresses, namely ”Legion No. 1”, ”No. 2”, and ”No. 3”.

Among them, the Walter Clan specifically attacked No. 2, and players from the other two interstellar fortresses naturally couldn’t teleport over, so they could only envy, hate, and ridicule from afar.

’What kind of battle report is this, should be called an obituary.’

’How many have died already, over ten bosses, can’t you guys at least take one down, No. 2 you bunch of deadweights.’

’You’d think with enough human lives, you could take down a few, what the hell are you doing.’

’Brothers from No. 2 platform, feel free to set your respawn points to our No. 3 platform, since it looks like you can’t hold on anyway.’

’Enemy destroyed an army of a billion, retreat southeast, sorry, brothers from No. 2, I’m not talking about you, I’m talking about those bosses, once those Green-skins have killed enough, they’ll naturally go back.’

Players from No. 2 platform, naturally, would not surrender, especially those who have just died, filled with rage.

’Damn, it’s easy to talk while standing, basic attack does 100k damage, who the hell can withstand that, in your place, you’d die even quicker!’

’If you’re so capable, why don’t you get in there, stop just flapping your gums.’

’Damn it, this bunch of Green-skinned have an average of 4 boss templates each, and they’re all attack speed and critical strike boosts, how do you fight that?’

’Just you wait, once I’m back online, I’ll fire the energy cannon right at your *ss, let me see if you can block it!’

Suddenly, not only was the in-game battle intense, but the forum was also ablaze, with players from different stations exchanging friendly familial greetings, turning the whole gaming community into disarray!

And on the so-called No. 2 platform, or Legion No. 2, there were weapon platforms falling everywhere, many of which were still emitting smoke and fire. As the anti-gravity system of the interstellar fortress was destroyed, these weapons systems, capable of free movement, also sank, crashing to the ground, creating large craters one after another, even destroying the sensors below the ground, causing many drones and energy cannons to wander aimlessly like headless flies.

The bodies of players were scattered everywhere, each dying differently, some with eyes wide open as their Network Access Chamber ejected along with their skulls, some with their upper and lower body torn apart, others ground into meat paste, and some who blew themselves up due to weapon system misfire, and some even struck a pose before dying.

The methods of death were increasingly novel.

Overall, those killed in close combat comprised the majority.

The Walter Clones, called ”Green-skinned” by outsiders, were known for their combat prowess right from the beginning of the 3rd Stellar Vortex.

Although ”Clone”, ”Mechanical Life”, and ”Bionic Man” are all known as the universe’s three main cannon fodder classes, the capabilities heavily depend on the Technology Tree they have developed.

The strength of ”Clones” is primarily determined by whether their cloning technology can unlock ”Carbon-Based Sequence Cloning”. If achievable, the mass-produced ”Clones” automatically master ”Secondary Carbon Fusion,” already on par with some regular interstellar battle races.

The Walter Clan’s cloning technology clearly achieved that, as their Tier 2 Clones are inherently equipped with a boss template.

Cloned Apostle (Faction Exclusive):

Clone Form: As a clone of a powerful Tier 3 Warrior, your Power is permanently increased by 30%, Agility permanently increased by 30%

Carbon-Based Child: Your body’s amino acid secretion is hundreds of times stronger than ordinary people, your success rate of Carbon Fusion is increased by 40%

Bloodline Instinct: Inherited from another Tier 3 Civilization race of a different star system, releasing bloodline instinct greatly enhances tearing, bleeding, burning, shape disruption, and other effects

This is the boss template that players finally managed to trigger after countless deaths.

Besides this boss template, these Walters have another one called ”Cloning Contamination”; this template’s effect is even more disgusting. As the battle continues, it can secrete gene clones via somatic cell cloning, injecting them into you, disrupting your Carbon Fusion Mode.

As everyone knows, without Carbon Fusion, a Carbon-Based Warrior’s combat power is less than that of a dog, albeit a mechanical dog.

With a quarter of the interstellar fortress sunk, the battlefield split into two.

Players sacrificing so many lives wasn’t in vain, at least it dispersed the dozen or so bosses to fight individually.

On the front half of the main passage, a Green-skinned Boss No. 10, who hadn’t made it to the engine area, was being surrounded and attacked by a group of players.

No. 10 is a very traditional Green-skinned Walter, having absorbed many clones, his basic attributes are stacked to a very high level, in this state, although lacking abnormal skills or special abilities, the five attributes being so high, with comprehensive attribute enhancements, makes him a Hexagon Warrior.

And this kind of boss is most despised by players, as it hardly has any weak points to exploit, leaving players to grind away slowly with sheer effort.

Especially with the opponent’s four template boosts.

The result was, before the opponent could be worn down, countless players had already lost their lives.

Fortunately, as templates, skills, and talents were gradually unlocked through players’ sacrifices, players finally learned how to deal with these Tier 3 Hexagon Warriors.

First, several hundred players specializing in Heavy Mechanical Stream or meat tank Biological Hunters stand at the forefront.

Do not expect attacks, but focus on defense, ensuring when one gets knocked out, another takes the place.

Next, support players maintain states, once someone is knocked out of Carbon Fusion Mode, they must immediately stack skills to restore the meat shield’s blood volume.

If not done, being instantly killed is quite likely.

The ones truly responsible for output are Black Stream or AI pathway players.

Although Walters are Hexagon Warriors, continuous testing by players found that direct attacks on ”Consciousness” face little resistance.

Moreover, it’s quite challenging for them to hit players utilizing the ”Information Stream”.

Although Tier 3 Carbon-Based entities can detect signals scattered in a vacuum, on a battlefield with chaotic signals, counter-attacking tends to miss.

Consequently, virus software loads, transmits, disrupts consciousness, cracks brains, interferes with biological hormones, launches electronic blasts, negative states are applied like there’s no cost, pressing relentlessly.

Affected by skills more and more, No. 10’s state rapidly declines.
