Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 1058: Chapter 164: Artificial Scenic Spot 3

”Abnormal, the strongest boss of this planetary dungeon has appeared!”

”Damn, a hundred-person group got wiped out with a single punch, such a damned difficulty!”

”Level 90 max, 5-template super monster, green-skinned Hulk appears!”

”Top-level boss spotted at the outskirts of the starport, suspected that the developers increased the difficulty.”

”This boss is suspected to be Tier 4 Carbon-Based, weakness possibly consciousness, seeking advanced hackers to team up and farm the boss.”

”Damn it, the shitty developers withheld resources again, and I picked up ten bags of trash!!!!”

...

Walter No. 3 naturally didn’t know that his appearance had already caused a huge stir among the players, especially with a vague short video circulating, in which a mountain-like green-skinned giant wreaked havoc. Covering a distance of thousands of kilometers, with just one step, even players who hacked in from afar got disconnected in person.

The last time players saw a boss of this level was when their own boss, Mr. G, took action.

As the strongest challenger of the former Old Walter, No. 3’s appearance shocked everyone, including the other Walters.

An old, decrepit, green-skinned elder looked at the heads in astonishment and said:

”What happened here? Aren’t the enemies yet to break into the atmosphere?”

”The Strange Stable Anchor failed?”

”What about the warning systems? Our clan bought ten sets of planet-level warning systems, don’t tell me not a single one worked.”

No. 7, an exceptional superpower-type strong individual among the Walter Clan, who is aligned with No. 3, looked up at the green giant before them.

”Third brother, how did you discover it?”

”I was tempering my body in the Land of Crystal Core, and the biological magnetic field resonated with the planet’s magnetic field, thus discovering the little insect.”

No. 3’s gaze was like a searchlight, intensely staring at No. 2, the sight almost solidifying, turning into fierce green flames.

”Step-mother, weren’t you in charge of the outer space battlefield? How could such a mistake happen? If you can’t handle it, then don’t do it!”

No. 3 spoke in an aggressive tone.

No. 2 dropped her usual aloof demeanor, putting down her crossed long legs in leather pants and spoke calmly:

”I had dealings with the other side, it was a very ordinary interstellar plunder, but unfortunately, Vervi set me up...”

No. 2 explained how she, along with four Star Thief groups, once looted Gao Gong at a space station, but got ambushed instead.

”Back then, I noticed that although most members of the Celestial Calamity were half-modified mechanical bodies, their methods varied, including hackers and assassins, and some eerie means I couldn’t even recognize. Later, I investigated and found out that they came from Mechanical Split Star, that civilization forbidden zone.”

”Vervi, civilization forbidden zone?”

Many Walters exchanged glances, familiar with both but finding it strange that they were connected.

A young Walter child suddenly asked:

”Vervi, does this Calamity Corps have anything to do with the legendary Shrek Star Thief Group from back then?”

The Shrek Star Thief Group has always been a legend in the Robert Star System, and even at the peak of the Walter Clan today, they likely didn’t match the strength of that legendary Star Thief Gang.

The renowned Shrek Star Thief Group, even during the peak of the Level 2 Peak Civilization, Mirta Federation and Galen Republic, amidst the pursuit by more than a dozen other Level 2 civilizations, managed to flaunt around for a considerable period, a legendary interstellar group. There are even several tales regarding Shrek’s death.

One of the most widespread is, despite being besieged by many civilizations, while the star thieves’ top officers suffered heavy casualties, Shrek himself didn’t fall. With Tier 4 Peak strength, he took down quite a few civilization fleets.

In a situation where neither side could eliminate the other, Shrek negotiated with the civilization fleet joint force, agreeing to leave the Robert Star System forever in exchange for their pursuit pardon.

Although the legend might not be true, Shrek himself, as well as the combat abilities of his top officers, were indeed genuine.

Number two, Green Widow pondered for a moment, shook her head, and said:

”There should be no relation. At Shrek’s peak, he never intended to enter the civilization forbidden zone. Most likely, Vervi found himself a new master, coincidentally from the forbidden zone.”

No. 3 Giant Walter remained silent for a moment, suddenly exhaling two thick fire-like breaths from his nose:

”Everyone leave, I have something to say to Stepmother.”

As soon as he finished speaking, over 20 Walters around Green Widow stood up, either glaring fiercely or looking sinisterly at No. 3, while around No. 3, a dozen people stood as well, with another dozen Walters wearing indifferent expressions, not intending to help either side.

”Crazy to fight amongst ourselves when facing a great enemy.”

In the end, it was Green Widow who made the decision, having her own allies leave first, and No. 3 also glanced at No. 7, who then took his people to leave as well.

After everyone had left, Green Giant No. 3 snapped his fingers, creating a gust of wind that slammed the door shut.

Alone together, No. 3 Green Giant suddenly grinned, sat down with a thud like the earth quaking, creating a deep hole.

Green Widow also walked over gracefully, leaping lightly to sit on his shin.

Who would have thought that inside the Walter family, two factions fighting to the death, an old Walter’s widow and an adopted son of Old Walter, would secretly be lovers.

”How’s the old man?” asked the Green Giant.

”The old jerk’s clones are still asleep, all under my control. But I suspect other Walter offspring have some diehard loyalists of his, controlling his last clone.”

The Green Giant pondered for a moment, then sneered coldly:

”The old man has his defenses up, setting his blood inheritance with a genetic lock, only he alive can unlock it. So, does he really not want us to control his power?”

Green Widow lovingly caressed her belly, mysteriously saying:

”If the old thing could clone us using his genes, then we can naturally use his genes to reproduce him. At that moment, the genetic lock will automatically break.”

No. 3 Green Giant returned to his usual size at some point, the two exchanged heated glances and entwined, during which No. 3 panted heavily and said:

”The situation outside is bad?”

”Yes, No. 8 can’t hold on and keeps asking me for troops, but where can I get them now.”

”I’ll make them for you.”

”How many can you create? 100,000? 1 million?”

In the midst of it, Green Widow pointed her finger, bringing up a holographic projection highlighting three specific spots, the locations of three interstellar fortresses.

”The enemy is smart, knowing we have a planet cannon, so they purposely spread the three interstellar fortresses in different directions. Even if we could fire another planet cannon, we’d only destroy one fortress.”

”The cooldown period for the planet cannon is long enough for them to penetrate the planet, and they would pile up with numbers to crush us, this is their strategy.”

”Compared to our cloning technology, they have a means to mass-produce Level 2 ones at a 100x rate.”

”My idea is, while No. 8 can still manage, I’ll lead them to blow up one fortress. If anything goes wrong, we forcefully activate the planet cannon to destroy another, so even with their mass production, they wouldn’t have the strength to attack.”

”Okay.”

Green Widow had entered a state of mental frenzy, her belly visibly expanding.

But afterwards, she still asked:

”What if you fail?”

The Green Giant wasn’t as arrogant as he seemed outside, rather he calmly said:

”At that time, wake up the old man and have him unlock that inheritance.”

”You want to go back to the past?” Green Widow incredulously said.

The Green Giant flashed a cunning look:

”Doesn’t the old man have several clone spares? Who said we could only wake one.”
