Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 383: Chapter 145: Third-Generation Steel Claw

Unexpected, yet expected, the family gathering of the Sub-human Continent proceeded as scheduled.

Exoskeleton warriors in ancient armor styles appeared at the venue, prosthetic eyes darting everywhere, exuding evil qi. Particularly their arms, knees, joints, all visibly underwent enhanced transformation, some even more than once.

Moreover, their levels were generally above 20, with nearly one-tenth being Elite Templates.

In this era, with the proliferation of various ranged weapons, training a melee Transformer is obviously a thankless task.

Unless these melee Transformers possess combat power far beyond ordinary Transformers, enough to serve as decapitation squads and special elites for various dangerous missions.

It is precisely because of these elite presences that the new corporate giants did not choose to completely attack the Sub-human Continent but opted for relatively moderate negotiation methods.

As the advanced flying vehicles landed, one special figure after another emerged.

Kobayashi Clan’s Mechanical Blade Demon, Mechanical Sword Demon

Miyamoto Clan’s Miyamoto Tenzang

Black Hawk Clan’s Celestial Eagle King

Xiaoi Clan’s Xiaoi Gui

When these five appeared, the scene gradually became boisterous, with various shouts, roars, and applause starting to resound from all directions.

These five were tall and imposing, their prosthetic bodies were all above level 30, entirely military-grade prosthetics, with performance two to three times that of ordinary prosthetics; and they themselves were also over level 30 super elites, each serving as officers in elite units of world-class military contractors.

Even the genius Kobayashi Hideyuki of the Kobayashi Clan was evidently a notch below compared to them.

These are the true pillars of the Sub-human Continent.

Similar world mercenaries like them number in the hundreds across the world, and it’s precisely their existence that deters any forces attempting to provoke the Sub-human Continent.

The five exchanged glances without much conversation; after a simple nod of acknowledgment, they seated themselves in the positions meant for the family high sectors.

Soon, in their eyes, a slew of family clan leaders appeared, and they were surrounding a woman named Yao Xue from the Yao Family.

Seeing this, the five narrowed their eyes.

The Yao Family’s reputation in the mercenary realm doesn’t surpass these four families, but only insiders know that the Yao Family has the biggest influence outside. Family members are evenly spread across planning, logistics, weapons development, and other departments, secretly weaving a large network, even to a certain extent, capable of influencing upper-level decisions.

Compared to the Yao Family, they were at most top-tier enforcers, merely a blade that kills.

Yao Xue glanced at the four with a gentle smile and nodded amicably, taking her seat reserved for the Yao Family.

Beside her was a short girl.

Soon, after hundreds of armed family clan leaders took their seats, the scene quieted down.

Everyone knew that this assembly of the Sub-human Continent would determine their future.

And soon, the negotiation team appeared, led by the former leader of the Steel Claw Gang, a middle-aged man in a black trench coat with a face full of cracks, called Steel Claw or the 3rd Generation Steel Claw.

The 1st Generation Steel Claw was a super Transformer with a 100% transformation rate.

The 2nd Generation Steel Claw was parts of the 1st Generation’s personality fragments, evolved into the advanced AI of Steel Claw.

According to rumors, the 3rd Generation Steel Claw absorbed the essence of the previous two generations, becoming an existence between AI and Transformer.

In addition, he holds another identity, the Security Minister of the Illusionary Union, holding all the martial power of this emerging group.

Associated with him were five or six high-level leaders, each having been a big boss of the local security companies, such as Boss Hongg from Golden Diamond Security, now donned in a custom-made advanced suit, his badge-strapped chest and his bulky figure looking especially formidable.

These ’Golden Basin Hand Washing’ bosses, each had a glorious gangster past, and were at one period the kings of Nightless City’s underworld.

If it weren’t for a certain Mr. G intervening, Gao Jin from the Welfare Gang would also have been one of them.

What attracted them was only one thing: to escape the Guanzhong Plate quagmire and become part of the world military group.

Following behind them was an inconspicuous old man, smiling and greeting everyone politely.

Yet his reputation was even more resounding than the 3rd Generation Steel Claw.

The leader of the Powerful Gang, Old Pawa!

The strongest in Nightless City’s underworld.

Accompanying him were the Thumb Killer Don, Mechanical Mage Naga, Super Captain Roger, and a nameless young man.

These top figures of Nightless City, also over level 30, super elite upon appearance, the aura of Tier 2 life forms surged intensely, even the fierce soldiers of the Sub-human Continent gradually quieted down.

Tier 2 and Tier 1 life forms seem to differ by just one grade, but that’s a civilization grade.

This means the number of transformations they’ve undergone is double, triple, or even more of yours, and if it’s a carbon-based creature, it’s likely completed carbon fusion.

If they undergo seed burst, the damage inflicted on you would be crushing.

The expressions of the five super mercenaries also gradually became serious.

The opponent’s showcased high-end combat force was double theirs.

Especially for the Kobayashi Clan’s Mechanical Blade Demon and Mechanical Sword Demon duo, their expressions turned notably grim.

The reason was simple, in the negotiation team, they saw the Kobayashi Clan’s clan leader, who, in terms of blood relation, was their uncle, Kobayashi Sogen.
