Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 62: Chapter 30: The Last Struggle of the 3 Sisters

The Queen raised her Knight Sword high, but nothing happened.

There was no radiant light, no surging sword energy.

”Holy Sword Slash! Holy Sword Slash!”

The Queen was somewhat baffled, lowering her raised arm, puzzled as she looked at the Knight Sword in her hand. The situation was once very awkward.

”Truly a ’powerful’ move.”

Su Xiao’s well-timed taunt left the Queen exasperated.

At this moment, the Queen finally noticed the prompt from Reincarnation Paradise, she had exhausted her Mana.

The Queen couldn’t understand this situation. From the start of the battle until now, she had only used three skills. She was very afraid of depleting her Mana, so she had purchased a necklace that increased her Mana by 30 points at a high price.

The Queen couldn’t figure out the situation, but Su Xiao knew that it was the ’Blue Steel Shadow’ skill that burned her Mana empty.

The Blue Steel Shadow’s effect on Mages was unknown to him, but it worked wonders against Shield Warriors with low Mana.

After a few cuts, even if the opponent didn’t die, they couldn’t use any skills.

Su Xiao had been puzzled about one thing for a long time. The Shadow of Annihilation Law profession, based on its name, seemed to target Mages, but how was he supposed to fight them?

If he could get close to a Mage, the burning pain from the ’Blue Steel Shadow’ burning mana would allow continuous slashes against them, but getting close was a big problem.

’The locked skills of the Shadow of Annihilation Law should solve this problem, otherwise, this profession doesn’t deserve to be called the Shadow of Annihilation Law.’

Thinking about these things was premature; the top priority now was to kill the enemy in front of him.

Once Su Xiao confirmed that the Queen had no Mana, he charged straight ahead.

Even if the Queen drank some unknown liquid and suddenly became stronger with more skills, without Mana, she was just a toothless tiger.

As for the Knight Sword in the Queen’s hands, Su Xiao ignored it directly as she couldn’t use a sword at all.

After charging forward, Su Xiao slashed at the Queen’s throat with one stroke.

The long knife cut through the air, creating a wave. Its angle was exceptionally tricky.

The Queen raised her sword to block but hit nothing but air. It turned out that Su Xiao’s slash had changed from a chop to a slice, cutting off a small part of the Queen’s ear.

Having an ear cut off was a very unpleasant experience. The Queen felt a buzzing sound in her brain.

The Dragon Slash was in a slashing posture, and it needed to be reset and charged to strike again.

Su Xiao simply charged forward, almost sticking to the Queen, lifting his left knee and hitting the Queen’s side waist hard.

The side waist had a spot without rib protection, making it particularly vulnerable.

The Queen hadn’t recovered from the buzzing when she took this heavy blow. The feeling was unimaginable.

Su Xiao made a light backward leap, retreating about a meter. Before his feet hit the ground, the flash of a knife struck. The Queen’s chest took a blow, her armor was cut open, and blood started flowing out from the armor’s opening, making her acutely aware of that intense pain again.

This time, however, the energy birds above her head had the effect of alleviating the pain, allowing her some strength to fight back.

The Queen didn’t have strong willpower. A warrior with a strong will can ignore most pain in battle.

”You bastard, die!”

The Queen mustered all her strength to unleash a sword strike. Su Xiao didn’t face it head-on but jumped back swiftly.

As Su Xiao landed from the jump, he kicked off the ground to jump forward again.

The Queen’s sword happened to pass by him, and she left herself wide open.

”Squelch.”

A not particularly deep wound appeared at the Queen’s throat, causing her to stumble back a few steps.

”Huff~ huff~.”

The Queen gasped heavily, feeling as if her lungs were like broken bellows, struggling with each breath.

”What happened to that confidence in your expression just now?”

Su Xiao approached the Queen at a slow pace, always appearing more composed since the start of the battle.

If he were to be attacked simultaneously by a Shield Warrior, Sniper, and Support at the same time, he wouldn’t have been this relaxed.

However, the sniper, their biggest firepower point, was entangled by Shuuzou Suzuya.

The Shield Warrior in front of him had very high survival power, but in close combat, it was worlds apart from Su Xiao.

Su Xiao faintly noticed one thing: if Contractors’ development direction was PVE, then his own development direction appeared to be PVP. This was intentional by Reincarnation Paradise; he was a Hunter, meant to often fight against Contractors.

A tank confident enough to close-quarter duel with a Master Killer was sure to meet an unfortunate end.

”This can’t be. In terms of attributes, equipment, and skills, I should be stronger than you. Why is it like this, something must be wrong.” The Queen’s eyes showed extreme reluctance.

”Who knows, but it seems that thing on top of your head is about to disappear.”

Su Xiao was not all relaxed; the Female Shield Warrior in front of him was astonishingly sturdy with a stamina of 24 points, making it difficult even for Dragon Slash to breach her bodily defenses. It was the first time he encountered such a situation.

This gave Su Xiao a warning: if the attribute value difference was too large, no matter how advanced his combat skills were, he might not be the opponent.

However, the Queen in front clearly didn’t fall into this category; it was only after doping that she reached her current attributes.

The two Elemental Birds above the Queen’s head made a simultaneous call, burst open, and turned into countless light spots, merging into her body and disappearing.

The ongoing healing effect ended, and the Queen’s blood bar rapidly declined.

Witnessing this, Yezi, from afar, turned pale. She also didn’t have much mana, enough only to extend the Queen’s life by a few seconds.

But according to the Queen’s orders, her remaining mana had other uses — their hope of victory.

Just when both the Queen and Yezi almost fell into despair, Su Xiao had already rushed to the Queen, slashing continuously with his long knife.

At this critical juncture, the Queen heard what sounded like heavenly music in her ears.

”Queen, I’ve dealt with my opponent.”

The heavy breathing of Black and White, followed by a fit of coughing.

”You killed Shuuzou Suzuya?” the Queen exclaimed in delight.

”No, that guy was very troublesome, and he escaped in the end, but he was seriously injured.”

Although Shuuzou Suzuya hadn’t been killed, the Queen didn’t care because their trump card’s major output had finally been freed up.

”I’m going all out against you!”

The Queen roared, throwing away her Knight Sword, and charged at Su Xiao like someone on a death mission.

Su Xiao was quite surprised, as any unusual situation must have a trick; he instinctively retreated.

But the Queen’s forward lunge drove Dragon Slash into her abdomen. Su Xiao attempted to pull out Dragon Slash, but the Queen clasped Dragon Slash’s blade with both hands.

With a slicing sound, the Queen’s fingers were almost severed, yet she didn’t care, leaping toward Su Xiao and clutching him tightly like a koala clinging to a tree.

Be aware that the Queen’s Power Attribute was now 15 points, 2 points higher than Su Xiao’s. It would require some skill for Su Xiao to break free.

Su Xiao gripped Dragon Slash’s handle with both hands, thrashing it inside the Queen’s abdomen.

”Ah~!!” Tears erupted from the Queen’s eyes, yet she still refused to let go.

”Bang!”

A gunshot rang out from a distance; Su Xiao was already aware of the danger. However, adding the Queen’s body weight and her armor, she weighed over 200 pounds, making his movement restricted.

At the last moment, Su Xiao could only slightly turn his body to avoid being hit in a vital spot.

A finger-length bullet entered Su Xiao’s abdomen, its momentum undiminished, directly passing through him and then through the Queen’s body.

This shot cost Su Xiao 70% of his Life Value.

The Queen’s body went limp, her arms losing strength.

Just at this moment, Yezi, who had been standing at a distance, played their trump card.

”Judgment!”

After a coquettish shout from Yezi, a massive Energy Cross manifested above Su Xiao’s head.

The cross, glowing with holy light, slammed down toward Su Xiao.

”Boom!”

Su Xiao’s ears rang. The Energy Cross shattered.
