Not Being a Trainer This Time

However, the next second, she saw the Pokémon named Mewtwo move.

Its figure disappeared from its original position and reappeared above the forest.

A light blue energy rippled outward like a wave in all directions.

Immediately, the lake water seemed to be pulled and rushed towards the burning area.

In an instant, it extinguished the raging fire, sending up a large amount of white smoke.

”Great!” Ash’s face broke into a smile.

”Pika Pika!” Pikachu nodded repeatedly.

In mid-air.

Mewtwo slowly returned to Naoki’s side; Naoki nodded at it, then he and Mewtwo, along with Rayquaza, turned their gaze to the late-arriving Giratina.

Giratina, who had always been ”mischief-making” in the chat group, felt instantly ashamed and angry when it realized its disgrace was being watched by group mates.

It originally wanted to shout, ”What are you looking at?” but then thought that if Naoki hadn’t arrived in time today, it might have been outsmarted by that detestable human.

Naoki: ”...I’ve already told you not to come here and to be more careful.”

Giratina was ashamed beyond words; it was also blinded by rage, and all of this was caused by those damned Dialga and Palkia!

Giratina felt even more resentful towards Dialga and Palkia.

”Arrogant, aggressive, reckless...” Naoki read these words out one by one.

Giratina suddenly realized that Naoki was talking about it.

It suddenly felt a bit scared.

That’s right, this is it; would Naoki stop liking it or want to stop being friends because of this?

The very thought made Giratina feel sad.

Its life was originally boring and dull; everything became vibrant because of Naoki’s arrival.

Chatting with it, helping it plant fruit trees, flowers, suns, massaging it with Dragon Power, teaching it how to use the Rotom Phone, entertaining it, occasionally bringing it something to eat and drink...

With all that’s happened, Giratina had already grown accustomed to a life with Naoki.

It couldn’t imagine days without Naoki anymore.

Giratina felt heartbroken; at this moment, it completely tossed Dialga and Palkia aside, thinking that Naoki might end their friendship and ignore it forever sent deep sorrow through Giratina.

But it was afraid to show this, fearing Rayquaza and Mewtwo would see, so it had to pretend as if it didn’t care, seemingly unchanged from usual.

Mewtwo & Rayquaza: Stare!

Giratina couldn’t take it anymore and twisted its massive body, ready to return to the Reversed World and never come out again.

Seeing Giratina’s sudden movement, Naoki paused, interrupting the words he originally wanted to say: ”Where are you going?”

Giratina responded gruffly: ”Going back!”

Naoki: ”...Why don’t we go together?”

Giratina’s movement suddenly halted, and it looked back in confusion.

Seeing its expression, Naoki quickly understood what Giratina meant.

It misunderstood what he had said earlier!

”I haven’t finished my words just now.” Naoki continued helplessly: ”Although these sound terrible, perhaps that is what makes Giratina, Giratina!”

Giratina didn’t understand.

”It’s nothing, I was just reflecting.” Naoki took a deep breath, glancing down to see Ash and his group.

However, he didn’t go down to meet them but instead said to Giratina: ”Alright, it’s over, time to go back!”

Though Giratina didn’t fully understand Naoki’s words, it could sense that he didn’t plan to break off their friendship or was angry with it.

The ”Sunflora” in Giratina’s heart instantly bloomed, and it opened its mouth, spewing a Twister into the sky to open a passage to the Reversed World.

”Rayquaza, thanks for today.” Naoki jumped onto Giratina’s back and said to Rayquaza.

Having served as a temporary driver, Rayquaza gave a shout, indicating it was no big deal.

Seeing that Naoki was okay, it twisted its massive body and soared into the clouds to find snacks in the ozone layer.

Naoki, on the other hand, entered the Reversed World with Mewtwo and Giratina, returning to the ranch.

At four in the afternoon, as the sun was about to set, Naoki drove the pickup truck back to the ranch with Koraidon, hearing Professor Oak’s exclamation.

”What?! Giratina was captured? Motorcycle Mask brought Rayquaza and a Pokémon named Mewtwo to rescue it?!”

”Professor? Did something happen?” Naoki walked into the house.

”A great discovery! Ash and the others claimed they saw the legendary Pokémon Giratina, Rayquaza, and another unknown Pokémon called Mewtwo today.”

”Wow! This is incredible; that Motorcycle Mask can actually capture so many legendary Pokémon!”

Professor Oak couldn’t help but express his admiration: ”I’d love to see that Motorcycle Mask in person.”

Hearing this, Naoki and Koraidon exchanged a tacit glance.

Koraidon: ”Ah hiss ~”

Naoki smiled and said: ”Maybe you’ll get to see them in the future.”
