Not Being a Trainer This Time

Naoki reached out to take it, looking at the Fightinium Z, his feelings were somewhat complicated.

He never expected that the Fightinium Z he returned to Tapu Koko would land back in his hands this way...

But speaking of which, shouldn’t a final test be completed after battling the King of the Island once the trial is over?

However, looking at Hala’s demeanor, it seems he doesn’t intend to engage in a Pokemon battle with him.

Anyway, all tests are at the discretion of the King of the Island; the Alola Region hasn’t established a Pokemon League yet, so the King’s word is law here.

”Fortunately, this saves me the trouble,” Naoki thought to himself.

”By the way, there’s one more thing!” Hala suddenly mentioned again.

”What?”

”Oranguru asked Miss Jenny to tell you that after you left, a Trainer visited the Forest Pokemon Cafe, and the Snorlax affecting the cafe’s business has been captured by that Trainer,” Hala said.

Naoki was slightly taken aback, then nodded, ”Alright, got it.”

Actually, he did quite want to invite Oranguru to run the cafe at the Explorer Team Guild near the World Tree.

But looking at how Oranguru interacts with the Pokemon in that forest, it likely wouldn’t agree to this.

Oh well!

Naoki sighed regretfully, bid farewell to Hala, and then rode Koraidon out of Iki Town.

Fightinium Z, Grassium Z, Mewnium Z, he obtained three Z Crystals in a single day.

Next, he needed the Water Z.

And the best place to get the Water Z is Poni Island.

It’s guarded by Tapu Fini, a Water + Fairy Type Pokemon, Tapu Fini might have a Water Z there.

However, at this time, it seems Poni Island hasn’t yet produced a King of the Island or an Island Queen.

After pondering for a moment, Naoki decided to first go to Poni Island to investigate the situation and see if he could find Tapu Fini.

If he can’t find it, he’ll look for the Totem Pokemon in the area, trying to find a Water Z from them.

Thinking of this, Naoki mounted Koraidon and set off towards Poni Island.

Meanwhile, beyond the cosmos.

The Creator God Arceus was silently observing everything happening in that space-time.

He saw the person named Naoki seemingly planning to go to Poni Island to find the Pokemon named Tapu Fini.

Tapu Fini...

As an all-knowing and all-powerful deity, Arceus slightly shifted His thoughts, and He knew everything about Tapu Fini.

A Guardian God Pokemon who can create mist allowing people to see deceased individuals or Pokemon, fulfilling unfinished wishes?

Interesting.

A sudden thought surged in Arceus’ mind.

His gaze pierced through countless space-times to look at Naoki.

According to His original plan, when His avatar awakens, Arceus plans to give a major task to that human and the Heroic Expedition Team He created. Unconditionally, upon completion, they will be richly rewarded.

But humans are complex and changeable, Arceus felt some concern; if this human gets that opportunity, will he use it to commit evil?

Based on everything He sees currently, Arceus cannot guarantee.

Therefore, He intends to use this opportunity to give him a final test, to see if his heart truly loves Pokemon, and the bonds with those Pokemon partners.
