Chapter 485: Chapter 285: Rebuilding Our Home

Winter passes and spring arrives. After experiencing the forest fire, the back mountain, once covered in snow, has completely changed its appearance.

The branches and leaves devoured by the flames have turned into nutrients for the earth, rejoining the cycle of nature.

This gives the barren land a faint sign of recovery.

On the dirt path leading to the back mountain, Naoki is advancing while observing the surrounding situation with a group of Pokemon.

Three Gogoat carrying bags of seedlings and grass seeds follow them.

After several months, everyone returns to this place.

At first, the Pokemon living in the forest leaped and frolicked, eager for the rebuilding of their home.

But as the distance shortened, and upon seeing the desolate and barren scene, Greedent and the others were reminded of past memories.

That night, the fire that engulfed the whole back mountain.

Within the crimson flames, countless Pokemon figures were desperately running.

Some Pokemon succeeded, while others failed.

Everyone... those Pokemon that once lived here with them were mercilessly swallowed by the fire.

Thinking of this, Greedent and the others couldn’t help but lower their heads in sadness.

Upon seeing this, Alcremie, understanding the encounter of these Pokemon, stood up to cheer them on.

”Mwah!”

Greedent and other Pokemon looked up.

Soon after, Pawmot flew up to Alcremie, saying passionately, ”Bamoo!”

They will help together!

”Awoo!”

”Gaho!”

”...”

As these words echoed, other Pokemon in the ranch responded one after another.

They voluntarily stepped forward, standing behind Pawmot and Alcremie, telling the group of unfortunate Pokemon: Everyone will work hard together to restore this place to its original state!

”Woow...” Tinkatink gazed at this scene, its eyes gradually glistening, then tears of emotion welled up, and it earnestly expressed gratitude to the group of Pokemon helping them: ”Woow!”

”Squeak!”

”Gumo!”

”...”

Greedent, Maushold, Bellibolt, and other Pokemon began expressing their thanks noisily.

Walking ahead, Naoki looked back at this scene, and a smile appeared on his face.

They resembled the wild Pokemon he had seen in the movie ”Zarude and Coco,” collaborating to protect the forest from the evil hands.

Even though they might have conflicts and quarrels daily, when a real crisis arises, they will unite regardless of race or type to protect their home together.

Rejuvenated, Greedent and the other Pokemon caught up, and after walking for about ten more minutes, Naoki and his companions officially entered the back mountain area.

”Alright, let’s start from here!”

Naoki extended his hand, signaling the Pokemon to stop.

Then, he got close to the Gogoat and, together with Koraidon and Cyclizar, unloaded the grass seeds and seedlings from them, placing them on the land.

Looking at the multitude of Pokemon before him, Naoki pondered slightly, then started distributing grass seeds to each of them.

Naoki: ”Pawmot, Dragonite, Daxia, Butterfree, Wattrel, the task of scattering grass seeds is entrusted to you.”

”Bamoo!”

Upon receiving the instructions, Pawmot promptly stepped forward to take a pack of seeds from Naoki’s hand, while the remaining Pokemon did the same, awaiting further directions from Naoki.

Naoki then turned his gaze to the Indeedee Sibling: ”Use telekinesis to survey this area, then divide it into small plots, with each Pokemon responsible for one.”

Upon hearing this, the siblings immediately understood Naoki’s intention.

They stepped forward and began assigning plots to Pawmot and the others as instructed.

Naoki looked at Grafaiai: ”Grafaiai, you can use your paint to mark the ground, helping everyone to distinguish.”

Grafaiai promptly nodded in agreement.

Next, Naoki turned to the remaining Pokemon.

”I will plant these seedlings with Cyclizar. Diglett, you team up with Koraidon; use the Dig move to dig holes, and then have Koraidon plant the seedlings. Can you manage that?”

”Squeak!” Diglett straightened its body confidently.

”Very good, let’s start the work!”

With Naoki’s command, the group of Pokemon dispersed in all directions.

Butterfree and Dragonite kept a low flight while carrying grass seeds, opening their small packs and skillfully scattering seeds onto the ground below.

Naoki observed the scene with satisfaction and nodded.

Once everything is ready, they can ask Calyrex to help the grass and seedlings grow quickly.

He thought it was time for him to start helping too!

With this in mind, Naoki was about to grab a shovel to dig holes for planting trees, when he noticed the remaining Pokemon looking at him expectantly.

Naoki: ”...”

Alcremie: ”Mwah?” What work will they be doing?

Naoki thought carefully, and then he came up with a good idea: ”We’re still missing a cheerleading team!”

As he spoke, Naoki’s gaze swept across the idle Pokemon in front of him:

”Alcremie, Dolliv, Maushold, Glaceon, Tinkatink, Petilil, Surskit, Hoppip, and Shroomish, you guys form a cheerleading squad to cheer everyone on!”
