Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 482: Chapter 283: The Best Day (End of Volume 4)

”If you’re sleepy, go to sleep! I’m getting sleepy too! I will go to sleep after taking a bath.”

The drowsy Pokemon agreed in a daze, then obediently returned to their sleeping places.

”Goodnight, everyone!” Naoki said softly.

Alcremie returned to its little nest in the cabinet, Dragonite transformed into a red light and went back to its Poke Ball, the Indeedee Sibling went upstairs, Cyclizar stretched lazily on the ground, then rested its head on its arm and lay down right there...

Naoki watched this scene and then brought Calyrex to the Glass Greenhouse: ”See you tomorrow, Calyrex.”

Calyrex nodded slightly: ”See you tomorrow, Naoki.”

Naoki smiled gently, his heart as clear and bright as a cloudless sky.

After bidding farewell to Calyrex, he turned and hurried back.

On the way, Naoki suddenly remembered there was one Pokemon he had neglected.

He slapped his forehead, quickly ran back inside to take out a few boxes of Poffin and headed to the central lake of the pasture.

The Reversed World is as vast as the real world.

As the ruler of the Reversed World, Giratina does not stay in one area for too long.

Just like the wandering photographer Ho-oh, Giratina also roams around the Reversed World.

But this situation only lasted until not long ago.

After he changed those Sky Islands in the Reversed World, Giratina stopped wandering, staying in this area all day.

When Naoki and Calyrex later went to develop Sky Island, Giratina was either lying on Flower Island sunbathing or on Apple Hills nibbling on apples hanging from the trees.

It seems this Underworld Dragon really liked the transformed Sky Islands.

Thus, Naoki guessed that Giratina would still be around here at this time.

And indeed, just as he predicted, shortly after arriving at the lakeside, a purple vortex surfaced on the lake.

Naoki immediately hugged the Poffin and jumped in.

Before, he brushed up Giratina’s favor when helping it develop the Sky Island; now, Giratina is no longer the bad dragon that would bombard him for hours.

Inside the Reversed World, it has completely transformed after their modifications.

In this corresponding area of the pasture, all the Sky Islands are now covered in greenery, with the scent of flowers and fruits wafting through this heaven and earth.

At this moment, Giratina is lazily lying among the flowers, basking in the sun.

Originally, the flower field was perfectly fine, but now it has been crushed into a clearing by Giratina’s enormous body, and all the flowers underneath have been squashed to death.

Naoki: ”...”

Giratina glanced at him and, looking like a cranky old dragon starting early retirement life, asked, ”What brings you here?”

Naoki ”floated” to the Sky Island full of flowers, where sunflowers provided sunshine and warmth, filling the place with the scent of flowers in Dragon language.

Naoki sat cross-legged in front of the crushed flowers in front of Giratina and opened the Poffin Box.

”I’m bringing you some snacks for boredom,” Naoki said. ”Today is the human New Year, so I wanted to see you, thus I came.”

Giratina has no concept of time and never cares about human holidays.

Therefore, it irritably said, ”Pokemon food from the real world, I don’t want it!”

After speaking, Giratina regretted it.

It couldn’t help but wish it could drink some tea that would reverse its personality at that moment.

However, Naoki didn’t mind what Giratina said.

He understood this cranky dragon that says one thing but means another.

Naoki smiled faintly, ready to leave: ”Happy New Year, Giratina, please take care of me in the coming year!”

With that said, he didn’t linger, but got up and left the Reversed World, returning to the pasture through the lake vortex.

Giratina looked at those Poffins in front of it, feeling a bit conflicted inside.

Humans... humans again.

Humans are really such complex creatures!

Giratina closed its eyes, remembering some humans it had encountered in its mind.

The intense desires, the determination to conquer, the emotions of destruction...

And now, it met someone completely opposite to those.

He was so pure, so sincere, even it couldn’t help but be moved.

Giratina remained silent for a while, then moved its huge head closer to the Poffin Box and swallowed some Poffins into its stomach.

After leaving the Reversed World, Naoki returned to the living room, took a quick shower, and lay down in bed.

Koraidon was sleeping beside the bed, Pawmot sleeping on his comforter.

The room was well heated, so there was no worry about getting cold.

Once his hair was dry, Naoki turned off the light and lay down.

At this time, everyone in the pasture should be asleep, right?

No matter how windy and snowy it was outside, those cute Pokemon wouldn’t be affected, they were tucked into their warm nests, peacefully dreaming on a snowy night.

Thinking of these things, Naoki couldn’t help but feel tender inside.

”Koraidon,” Naoki suddenly called out.

Koraidon immediately responded: ”Ah kaa?”

Naoki grinned: ”Nothing, I just wanted to call you.”

Koraidon: ”...”

”Pawmo?”

Pawmot hadn’t fallen asleep either, rubbing its sleepy eyes at Naoki’s voice.

Seeing this, Naoki scooped it into his arms and then said to Koraidon:

”Goodnight, Koraidon.”

Koraidon lay down again, calmly closed its eyes, resting on its arm and responded:

”Ah ka-sii.”
