Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 418: Chapter 259: One Versus Six, the Whole Arena Is Stunned! Its Name Is Calyrex!

The other end of the contestants’ hall.

As the camera slowly moved, the lens automatically focused on those two mysterious Pokemon.

Leon looked at them on the screen with a look of surprise in his eyes.

As a Champion, his eyesight has always been very precise. Those two Pokemon, whether from their expressions or mental state, were clearly not ordinary Pokemon.

Naoki... He had never heard of such a person in the Galar Region before.

Is this Trainer from another region?

On the screen, as Vivian’s voice fell, the first battle officially began.

Aoken looked arrogantly at the Trainer opposite, took out a Poke Ball with a stylish gesture, and threw it out.

”No matter who you are, we won’t lose this match. Go, Greedent!”

A flash of white light followed. A Greedent appeared on the battlefield.

Naoki: ”...” Boy, don’t be so absolute in your statements!

He glanced slightly sideways and said to Koraidon, ”Go!”

”Agaaah!”

Koraidon rose up, stepped forward, and stood in front of Naoki.

Perhaps due to being in battle mode, a crimson ancient pulse resonated from Koraidon’s body.

A mysterious power spread all around, and suddenly, the sunlight in the sky became even more intense.

”In the first battle, contestant Aoken chose to send out a Greedent, while contestant Naoki sent out that red Pokemon! The sun has become stronger, is it because of that Pokemon?”

Vivian also noticed the change on the field, her commentary fast-paced.

In the arena, the battle had already begun.

”Covet!” Aoken calmly ordered.

As the command was given, the usually serious Greedent suddenly began acting cute, using Charm as it subtly approached Koraidon.

Facing this scene, Koraidon’s eyes were puzzled, tilting its head to look: ”Agaaah?”

Just then, Naoki’s voice came from behind: ”Finish it quickly!”

Koraidon immediately snapped back to attention. Hearing Naoki’s words, its leg muscles powered up explosively, leaped high off the ground, transforming in mid-air, and crashed down on Greedent below.

Aoken sensed something was wrong, his heart skipped a beat, and he shouted quickly, ”Danger! Dodge quickly!”

However, Greedent couldn’t dodge at all.

The next second, Koraidon slammed into it, and the terrifying ancient energy immediately caused a violent explosion, sending Greedent flying.

Greedent didn’t even utter a sound before collapsing and losing the ability to battle.

Instant defeat!

Within just a few breaths, this first battle was over.

The spectators in the stands hadn’t even had time to react.

”What happened?”

”Contestant Aoken’s Greedent was defeated in one move?!”

”What exactly is that Pokemon? Such terrifying power!”

”Yes!” Mike clenched his fist excitedly, feeling greatly reassured, propping his leg on the table in front of him, laughing heartily: ”Hahaha, is this it?! Robbie, is this the Trainer you’ve chosen? Who said they were going to send us packing?”

Robbie’s face turned dark: ”Damn, don’t be happy too soon! The match isn’t over yet!”

Mike, in a good mood: ”Then I’ll accompany you to see how you’re going to lose!”

”Unbelievable!” Vivian said in a shocked tone, ”Contestant Aoken’s Greedent was defeated by that Pokemon in just one round! What kind of power is that?! Next, it’s round two; contestant Aoken sends out Leafeon! The second match begins, Ao——”

Before Vivian could finish, the audience in the arena saw the red Pokemon open its mouth and unleashing Flamethrower.

The blazing flames instantly engulfed Leafeon, and Leafeon immediately lost the ability to battle, falling into unconsciousness.

Vivian gasped, changing her words midway: ”Incredible! The second match ended just as it started! Another one-hit defeat!”

The spectators in the seats were in shock.

”What’s going on?! This is supposed to be a high-level regional tournament! Why is Aoken performing like a rookie Trainer!”

”No, it’s not that Aoken is performing like a rookie Trainer; the opponent is just too strong! That level of skill, it’s Champion level!”

Upon hearing this, the entire place was in a commotion.

Their eyes all turned towards the young man below.

Has a Champion from another region come to the Galar Region?!

The battle continued.

In the third match, Aoken sent out Drednaw.

Five seconds later, Drednaw fell to the ground, unconscious.

Fourth match, Appletun, immediate defeat!

Fifth match, Sudowoodo, instant defeat!

In the final match, Aoken’s face was extremely grim; he couldn’t hold on any longer.

At this moment, he knew clearly in his heart that his opponent’s strength far exceeded his own by a long shot.

The feeling is something even Leon couldn’t give him!

At the very least, his six Pokemon could trade off against one of Leon’s Pokemon!

By now, Vivian and the spectators were so shocked they were speechless.

”What exactly is that Pokemon? That power is truly terrifying!”

”I can’t believe it; the Corviknight Flying Taxi company managed to find such a powerful Trainer!”

As the owner of the Corviknight Flying Taxi company, even Mike himself found it hard to sit still.
