Chapter 92: Chapter 75: Special Soil (Double Chapter)

To Naoki’s question, Teddiursa responded with a clueless expression.

”Huh?”

It pretended to be calm, with its round black eyes wide open, pure eyes showing a hint of innocence and confusion, as if it didn’t understand what the human in front of it was saying.

Ha, this little bear is quite good at pretending!

Naoki was speechless in his heart, seeing Teddiursa’s expression, he didn’t say anything and turned to prepare breakfast.

Today’s breakfast remained MooMoo Milk, Berry Juice, sandwiches, accompanied by delicious eggs fried to golden brown and oozing with oil, plus a few biscuits sprinkled with sugar.

Dragonite and the others seemed to like these foods a lot, but Teddiursa showed little interest.

Under Naoki’s gaze, it absentmindedly ate two Pecha Berries.

”Full?” Naoki asked, ”Not going to eat anything else?”

”Huh.”

Teddiursa shook its head. It glanced at the food and wished for Berries covered in honey instead.

Wrap a thick layer of golden honey around the Berry, lick off the honey layer first, and then eat the Berry inside.

The Berry with the honey flavor was so sweet and just thinking about it made the bear drool.

”Alright.”

Naoki didn’t insist either.

After breakfast, he began working on the farm, also observing Dragonite using Rain Dance.

He left Teddiursa in Pawmi’s care.

Pawmi, who had arrived a few days before Teddiursa, was already quite familiar with the farm.

Given the task by Naoki, its eyes shone brightly as it led the way.

”Pamo Pamo!” (Come with me! Naoki likes you, you’re going to live here, come on, I’ll introduce you to everyone!)

Faced with the enthusiastic Pawmi, Teddiursa thought to itself: it’s not planning to stay here!

It came here just for the delicious honey. Once it had the honey, it would disappear without a trace, and no one would find it.

But not yet.

Teddiursa turned its head towards the direction of the beehive.

The Combee were still collecting nectar, and it would be a while before the honey was ready.

Patience, a qualified hunter must have enough patience, Teddiursa thought.

So, it followed behind Pawmi to tour the place.

Their first stop was the Chicken House where Pawmi usually works.

Looking at the hens strolling on the grass and the fluffy chicks, Pawmi happily introduced them to Teddiursa:

”Pamo Pamo!”

”Huh.” Teddiursa glanced but didn’t show much interest.

This made Pawmi feel a bit disappointed.

It dropped its head, looking dejected, but quickly cheered up again and led Teddiursa to the Salt House where the Nacli lived.

The five Nacli were still asleep, huddled together and snoring.

Seeing this, Pawmi didn’t go to wake them up but softly told Teddiursa from a distance that these Nacli could produce salty Rock Salt.

Rock Salt? Where’s the sweetness of honey!

Teddiursa started fantasizing about delicious honey, swallowed, and asked, ”Huh?” (Do you know honey? Its taste is much better than Rock Salt!)

”Pamo?” Honey?

Pawmi happily nodded.

It knew! Just the day before yesterday, Naoki prepared honey lemonade for them, so sweet!

Hearing this, Teddiursa was full of envy.

This further strengthened its determination to steal honey.

At the third stop, Pawmi led Teddiursa to the meadow where the Skiddo resided.

Looking at the three lazy Skiddo, Teddiursa wasn’t impressed at first.

But suddenly, the three Skiddo erupted with a terrifying energy.

The surroundings shimmered with a vibrant green aura, sharp flying leaves danced in the air, and the Skiddo raised their heads, a thick Solar Beam shot past Teddiursa, towards the sky.

Teddiursa: ”?!”

It stood still, felt the terrifying aura just now, and couldn’t help but swallow.

So scary!

The move was so powerful, if it had been hit just now...

What was up with those three Skiddo?

At this moment, Teddiursa suddenly realized something — there were so many stronger Pokemon on this farm, could it really steal all the honey right under their noses?

Not just those three Skiddo, but also the fierce-looking red Pokemon.

Teddiursa’s honey-clouded mind cleared up.

If its stealing behavior was discovered...

The consequences were something Teddiursa didn’t dare to think about!

At this moment, Teddiursa felt a retreating urge, genuinely a bit terrified.

What to do, what to do?

Looking at the three Skiddo that exceeded its understanding, a drop of cold sweat appeared on its forehead, and images of being engulfed by three beams emerged in its mind.

At this time, beside it, Pawmi casually said, ”Pamo Pamo!” (Don’t be afraid, the Skiddo won’t harm us! They’re Naoki’s Pokemon and will protect everyone on the farm!)

However, with a guilty conscience, Teddiursa looked around, saw that the human hadn’t noticed it, and quickly found an excuse to separate from Pawmi.

Once out of sight, Teddiursa couldn’t help but speed up and started to run away.

Oh no! This place is too scary! It didn’t want honey anymore, and it would never come back here again!
