Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 29: Chapter 24: Delicious Alcremie (Double Chapter)_3

The one on the right was a Pokemon that resembled an olive.

Its body was a tender green, with a few green leaves growing on its head, and a petiole above its face. In the middle of the leaves, there was a yellow fruit.

They both showed only half their heads, looking somewhat frightened and worriedly at Naoki not far away.

Seeing this, the girl said, ”Don’t worry, Mr. Naoki is a kind person, he will definitely take good care of you!”

”Maa... Maa...”

”Fuu Fuu...”

The two little ones were still a bit scared.

But it seemed they weren’t scared of Naoki, but of the terrifyingly fierce (in the eyes of Alcremie and Smoliv) giant beast squatting beside him, with its entire body crimson red.

The girl was in a bit of a dilemma seeing this: ”I’m really sorry, Mr. Naoki.”

Naoki: ”...”

He followed Alcremie and Smoliv’s gaze and saw Koraidon beside him, immediately understanding what they were afraid of.

Clearing his throat lightly, Naoki decided to send Koraidon off to do something else. He patted Koraidon’s head and said to it, ”Go see where Cyclizar has gone, and call it back home to welcome the new friends.”

Cyclizar was happily chasing butterflies in the grass on the other side of the ranch. Naoki knew this but didn’t mind sending Koraidon to look for it.

”Graa!” Koraidon obediently turned around to find Cyclizar.

Seeing it leave, Alcremie and Smoliv visibly breathed a sigh of relief.

”Fuu...”

”Maa...”

The girl finally understood what Alcremie and Smoliv were afraid of.

Seeing the unfamiliar Pokemon leave, she encouraged, ”Go ahead!”

Only then did Alcremie and Smoliv jump off the car, cautiously moving in front of Naoki.

To avoid giving them a sense of pressure, Naoki intentionally squatted down, reaching out to pat the two Pokemon’s heads, saying, ”Please take care of me, Smoliv, Alcremie!”

Pokemon are naturally pure and kind-hearted, and feeling the goodwill expressed by the human before them, happy smiles appeared on their faces.

The girl stepped forward and said, ”I’ll leave them to you, Mr. Naoki, please take good care of them!”

Naoki nodded, ”I will.”

The girl glanced at Smoliv and said, ”By the way, Mr. Naoki, my grandfather asked me to tell you something. The oil produced by Smoliv before it evolves into Dolliv is very bitter and not suitable for consumption. Only after it evolves into Dolliv does the oil become delicious.”

”This Smoliv has been hatched for nearly a year, and it’s almost time for it to evolve.”

Naoki was slightly taken aback and then nodded, ”I see.”

The girl quietly breathed a sigh of relief, then turned and carried down several large boxes of feed from the tricycle, finally placing a cage with three hens and a rooster on the ground.

”Excuse me, where is the Chicken House?”

Naoki first placed Alcremie and Smoliv into the wooden house, letting them familiarize themselves with the environment, then stepped forward to lift the wooden boxes, ”Allow me!”

”Ah? Thank you!” the girl quickly expressed her thanks and then followed with a box of feed.

With such a large cage, it was quite difficult for one girl to lift it, so Naoki went ahead and carried the cage to the Chicken House.

As soon as the door opened, the hens foolishly ran out, wandering around inside the Chicken House, sniffing the grass, pecking at the ground, seemingly getting familiar with the environment.

The girl placed the feed box on the ground, and Naoki opened the box, pouring the feed inside into the silo through the feeding trough, so that it could be easily accessed for feeding directly from inside.
